He would have the right words. I'm a grandma of 3 BLK young men. I'm white. I see people standing up for what's right. I don't like the violence. Good trouble you all. BLK Lives Matter.
Im a hard biggie fan. Ive heard biggie's battle raps. In an actual battle, big wld body pac. No don't go by their beef, only reason big didn't go back and forth was cause he knew in his heart ppl were feeding his paranoia of biggie setting him up(if you follow pac, you'd know pac was a very paranoid person). PAC, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Beyoncé, R. Kelly, Mary J. Blige! Gotta respect it! Their music transcends and definitely moves with the times!
You don’t need a Tupac Vs Biggie Verzuz Battle... people literally put them up against each other everyday and it’s pointless if they ain’t alive. Nas Vs. Jay - that’s a battle I wanna see.
@This Lost name them ,but leave the ones off the life after death album off cause he wasnt here for that .. they just took a bunch of bit and pieces and add ppl to the songs
@Aaron Robles bruh So Many Tears was a EXTREMELY versatile song that still gets radio play ESPECIALLY on old school rap stations. If I recall correctly, 10 Crack Commandments wasn't even a single 🤣😂. Let's put it like this, Biggie (for the most part) made regional songs but Pac made national & global songs (for the most part). It's something that we can all relate to
@Aaron Robles being completely honest with you, the ONLY person that's even remotely close to PAC is Em in terms of hit vs hit. BIGGIE was a regional artist (for the most part). He had a few national hits but PAC made national & global songs (for the most part). 2PAC was bigger than music thus he's an ICON where Biggie was just another great artist
@Aaron Robles bruh I'm from Chicago. B.I.G don't get as much love or radio play like that here or going more westward. Again, that's why I said Biggie was more so a regional artist vs Pac that was a national & global artist. There's levels to this & Biggie not touching PAC. Nowhere near 2PAC 💯
Uncle Shannon I don’t dislike Juicy J bro... Nas is just on a totally different level in rap. That’s just a bad matchup. Put Juicy J up against someone like Busta Rhymes or Missy. Or someone from the south with the same style.
Will that’s the thing bro that don’t matter in a verzus nas wouldn’t be able to keep up nas in my top 5 but in a verzus juicy j would wash nas it wouldn’t be close

Tim Kruse long kiss goodnight goes harder than hit em up, when you realize that he’s dissing pac. Long kiss goodnight is the better and more vicious song. You could skip hit em up, after the first verse.
Whoever made this list felt so bad for Biggie getting washed in the first round, they had to throw some weaker Pac records in that second round against Biggies best to help him out lol.
Dwayne Hogan As much as I like Pac’s music, with the exception of Dear Mama & the singles off All Eyes On Me, Pac had very few “major” hits compared to Biggie at that time. Biggie went gold his first single out, & platinum with every other single until his death. They literally had to eliminate a lot of Biggies more iconic songs on this list just to give Pac the advantage, & the JBP boys still had Biggie winning it by 2. They put Tupac’s 2 biggest songs up against 2 of Biggie’s B-Sides out the gate!?! You tryna tell me there was no bias? Even to this day people still try and copy what he tried to do as far as studio grind and persona and he's been gone almost 25 years. 1 of 1 forever...💯💪🏾💯
@Ron-Jacques Dessalines nah, bruh. For the most part, people are biased towards music from their coast. Not saying everyone, but for the majority of folks, not just NY dudes, it's normal to gravitate towards music from their own region. A lot even do it unintentionally.
That THUG LIFE Volume 1 album is a classic. If you dont know about it you dont F wit Pac!! Every song is an instant classic. How Long Will They Mourn Me? Pour Out A Little Liquor, Str8 Ballin? WHAT?? Still today in my top 5 albums of all time!
Jon B. did do a song with Pac, called: “R u still down?” which is another fire track not listed, which shows how consistent he was, all the more. Notorious Thugs is definitely a classic and Juicy is an anthem for many. Regardless of who got the W, that’d be a great Vs. if done right. Especially since they’re not here, which made X’s & Snoop’s battle even better.
I thought the same thing & posted this on the first original video. Obviously whoever picked the lineup has a Tupac bias. It was completely mismatched & a lot of big name biggie songs were missed out. Putting Hit Em Up vs. who shot ya is a no brainer. But up against Notorious Thugs!?! In a versus it doesn’t have to be diss for diss, or story for story, head to head songs for the ladies. It’s just your best 20
Messiah Black I feel you on that. I actually wanna make a video with updated songs, maybe 3 or 4 different ones and better matchups. Hail Mary vs. One more chance? That’s not a good matchup. The matchup I’d love to add to it and makes a lot of sense would be Heartz of Men vs. Things Done Changed, I’d add Get Money for BIG as well, Gimme The Loot needs to be in there. Pac needs to have Changes on that battle, Life Goes On, and I’d pick All About U as well but maybe that’s just me.
Capricorns Very Own Yeah I think I put Victory up against Hail Mary in my other post. But yeah No Gimmie The Loot, Everyday Struggle, Get Money, Dead Wrong. It’s like Miss You against Dear Mama? C’mon man, at least put it up against Sky’s The Limit. Pac needed Staring through My Rearview, Holler If Ya Hear Me, Smile, & Pour Out A Little Liqour, but I’m not as mad at Pacs lineup as I was Biggie’s.

To keep it 100 it's Pac. Big was a beast but when you look at it on a global level, people LOVE Biggie's songs but they love 2Pac songs, his interviews, poetry, style and story. It's not fair to Biggie to even compare
I love both Gemini’s but it’s Pac. His discog is better. Simple. It was Pac when they were alive too. Not by a wide margin tho. Makaveli Is his greatest project but it might be one of the most unsung of his last three albums.
the truth AOE is his best major release but it’s not his best body of work. Had the most hits he’s had on an album (double). But not the best. Lot of filler records. It’s either Me Against The World or Makaveli
Plus the dude wrote Makaveli in 2 wks.... This is too regional though. The south is Pac territory... lol We love & respect Big but that Pac just hit different... lol
Explain what makes him better? You just saying that because thats what everyone else thinks. Just because Tupac is more popular and relatable doesnt make him better. Biggie doesnt only have 'flow and the cadence', his word play and technical ability as a rapper is superior to Tupacs. Tupac has a bigger catalog and is more of a cultural icon yes, but when it comes to pure rapping ability Biggie is the better out of the two.
@@jayroc5527 This ain't an open mic contest, we are talking bout songs, rapping ability only goes so far when trying to craft songs. That's why people are using the word artist. Tupac is probably the best Hip Hop artist of all time, look what he did on Makaveli with no name beatmakers, still crafted classics. Sure people like Canibus or Ortiz got mad wordplay but that doesn't translate to songs, biggie was a good songmaker but not an excellent one.
2pacolypse now has more hit on it than Biggie entire catalog.. that he recorded when he was alive, not the songs put together to make a track for more albums.
@J Crash you are crazy, Brenda got a baby, Trapped, Violent, Young Black Male, If My Homie Call, Rebel of the Underground, soulja story, -- all of these are classic song and are steal relevant to this day. also not a kid grown as man over here 40+.. every song i listed is relevant in to day time and climax with what going on in black communities, you can not say that about much of Biggie catalog. that's imo... if you can get a list from biggie first album and only 2 album that relevant now let see what they are.

I never got why people don’t like Big as much. I feel like song for song album for album nobody executed an album from top to bottom better than Big. Bigs only two albums are better than alotta people’s greatest hits. PAC was great but he wasn’t a perfectionist. He would make one song then on to the next which is why he beats big in catalog but musically and rhythmically I don’t think he’s touching big if we talk back to back hits. To me big was the greatest. He made have had less music but there weren’t much skippable tracks
soid drone slayer your reply proves you didn’t comprehend what I was saying. I said nothing about lyrical prowess. I said “musically and rhythmically” if you take the small of songs Big did compared to PAC then of course PAC wins. But in that small amount of songs it’s hard to find a weak track and the albums if you ask were executed flawlessly. The only PAC album from top to bottom that to me compares to big is Me Against The World. All Eyes on Me had too many filler tracks and I didn’t like some of the production compared to Biggies Life After Death.
Pac’s catalog is long enough to battle multiples artists at one.

It's something that we can all relate to
@Aaron Robles the only person that could actually rival Em is Pac. Nothing against the rest 2Pac beat Biggie 15-5 & it could've easily been 17-3
@Aaron Robles being completely honest with you, the ONLY person that's even remotely close to PAC is Em in terms of hit vs hit. BIGGIE was a regional artist (for the most part). They literally had to eliminate a lot of Biggies more iconic songs on this list just to give Pac the advantage, & the JBP boys still had Biggie winning it by 2. Explain what makes him better? You just saying that because thats what everyone else thinks. Just because Tupac is more popular and relatable doesnt make him better.
