Honestly, these videos are better than the actual game just because of how real and genuine it feels. It doesn't feel like an action movie. It feels like an honest war documentary. You should be proud of yourself. The only thing I could that was a negative was the typos everywhere. Everything else was brilliantly well done to the point of making the actual campaign for this game look like it was directed by children.

As an Australian, i was disappointed with BF1's Gallipoli campaign. A lot of our national identity comes from this battle, so it was a let down not to see Anzac Cove (Beach Z) depicted. It appears that BF1 chose to concentrate their efforts on Beach V. This is where the British ran the ship River Clyde onto the beach and the 1st Lancashire Fusiliers got decimated as the poured out of an opening in the side of the ship in an attempt to storm the beach. This is the battle where the 1st Lanc's won "6 VC's before breakfast"
My great grandfather fought with the 1st Lancashire Fusiliers throughout the war, but was killed in Arras, August 1917. It was during a night patrol to make sure the Germans weren't getting up to mischief under the cover of darkness. In the lead up to an offensive, it was common to move supplies and caches closer to the enemy trenches to facilitate the action. My great grandfathers patrol busted one of these depots being set up, a short bomb/grenade throwing battle ensured and the Germans were repelled. Unfortunately, he did not survive the encounter.

This is art. This is pure history, on video.
Anyway, my great grandfather fought in Gallipoli as a French soldier (He was Spanish, but he was in the French foreign legion)
Sadly, this is all I know about my great grandfather, because my great grandmother moved to Italy, and from as I know, she always refused to speak about my great grandfather 'till her death.
And more sadly, I couldn't find anything about him. My father (He was a French foreign legion soldier too) presumes that he used a fake name to join the French foreign legion.

@@aleembaksh1880 wrong. It was a Turkic tradition , though Arabs did use it as well. We Turks named our children after something they've done , and would use our father's and our clans name to identify ourselves. Professions were used as well , stuff like carpenter , or smith were used. During the Ottoman period , using the name of your village or neighbourhood became more common than your clan's.
In my case , my name would be "Berkehan , son of Mete , of the Kayı" , or Berkehan , son of Mete , from ..." or , say , "Carpenter Berkehan , son of Mete".

one quick question... i tried no hud before and it was so confusing to determine who is enemy or friendly. I tried to detect enemies from the color of their uniforms but it was so hard to tell because of distance and sometimes my team’s uniform being of similar color to the enemies. So how do you detect enemies apart from friendlies?

try not to detect the color of the uniforms of your enemies, that's a usual mistake I make for creating these videos usually you have to identify the uniform that they are wearing and of course if they're shooting directly at you shoot back! Hope that helps :)

I had a great granduncle, on my great grandaunt's side, who fought at Gallipoli, he survived only to die on the western front, he's buried at caterpillar valley with my great granddad. He fought at the initial landing but got dysentery the poor bloke.

Great video at all but just one problem I see at the dying screen you put people's name and in it it gives also surname but in all ottoman empire's History there were no surnames they were calling people like X the Son of Y but maybe you don't know it whatever always its really fascinating. After this comment atleast you know it for Desert campaign

Gallipoli Campaign, the loose of the army that didn't lose for 200 YEARS. The rise of a dying sick man(!). Mehmets, Ahmeds defended their trenches with honor, Johns, Charlies attacked the trenches with honor, too. Even Anzacs gave their chocolate to Turkishs, and Turkishes shared their all food with enemy. My grandpa fighted and died there. A Fatiha and R.I.P for everyone died here. . .
Çanakkale Savaşı, 200 YILDIR yenilmeyen bir ordunun hezimeti. Hasta adamın (!) yükselişi. Mehmetler, Ahmetler siperlerini onurla savundular, Johnlar, Charlieler onurla (!) siperlere saldırdılar. Anzaklar bile geri çekilirken çikolataları bıraktılar, Türkler tüm yemeklerini esirlerle paylaştılar. Benim büyük dedem orada savaştı ve şehit oldu. Orada can veren herkese bir el-Fatiha ve R.I.P...

    Hear them whisper
    Voices from the other side
    Hear them calling
Former foes now friends are resting side by side
    They will never leave
    Our hearts or fade away
    Live forever
They were far to young to die in such a way
    How many wasted lives
How many dreams did fade away
Broken promises they won't be coming home
    Oh mothers wipe your tears
Your sons will rest a million years
    Found their peace at last
As foe turned to friend and forgive
    And they knew they'd die
    Gallipoli
Left their letters in the sand
    Such waste of life
    Gallipoli
Dreams of freedom turned to dust
Hell is waiting where the ocean meets the sand
    Cliffs of burden
Where the soldiers rushed into a certain death
    At the shoreline
Blood of heroes stains the land light a candle
One for each of them who fought and died in vain
    There is no enemy
    There is no victory
Only boys who lost their lives in the sand
    Young men were sacrificed
Their names are carved in stone and kept alive
And forever we will honour the memory of them
And they knew they would die
    Gallipoli
Left their letters in the sand
    Such waste of life
    Gallipoli
Dreams of freedom turned to dust
    How many wasted lives
How many dreams did fade away
    Broken promises
    They won't be coming home
    Oh mothers wipe your tears
Your sons will rest a million years
    Found their peace at last
As foe turned to friend and forgive
And they knew they would die
    Gallipoli
Left their letters in the sand
    Such waste of life
    Gallipoli
Dreams of freedom turned to dust.
