I actually went to the actual Argonne Forest (the Montfaucon-D'Argonne sector) as well as Verdun very recently. Amazing how even after a century, you can still see the craters and trenches of this war.
The part I went to was small, but then again, the Argonne Forest spans a good couple acres. I think the part I went to was where the fighting takes place on the BF1 map.
Yeah the Verdun monument is quite impressive. It's so quiet and pretty in the sun with the younger trees growing on it but the terrain is just so unnatural.
DICE is adding in new variants of the level 10 guns which players can unlock for free by killing 300 people with the base weapon. If they can do this to level 10 guns, I don't see why they can't do it to the M1903. I don't care if I have to kill 1000 players in-game, I just want my Infantry Springfield >A

You can use the autoloading gun, the m79 shotgun They are american made weapons even chauchat the americans used it but the chauchat was made in france
one of the weapons you've mentioned weren't even used in the war, these were early footage's before the DLC was even released. oh and it's called the M97 Trench shotgun, I wasn't going to use that because this map didn't have alot of trenches

NXTmax01 it was the bloodiest operation in WWI United States military history. I now do my research to look up information on battles for Battlefield 1 maps now. So now you'll get some facts on my videos about WWI! and it was a real battle
I agree, i wish they had the infantry variant in the game, but they had to leave it out if they wanted the 1903 experimental to be in there. At least they made up for it by adding the M1917 American Enfield later on.
I enjoy the emotion in all of these scenes. Also, the video was quite realistic to what happened in regards to issued weapons. I love to play like that too. American side? Use a BAR or M1903. German side? Use a Gewher 98
I enjoy playing Battlefield 1 , we don't have enough games depicting WW1. I'm more interested since I recently learned this was one of the battles my great grandfather was in, with the 344th Tank Corps. Never got to meet him but I have a lot of his documents now from when he served. I'l cannot imagine what he witnessed during that time, but I can only imagine.

I love how the US soldiers sound like inexperienced young men, the US had to train over 2 million soldiers for the offensive, that is why it took over a year for the US to deploy troops in the war. America at the time did not have a standing army.
