- Frederick Bishop, an ANZAC soldier, encounters Jack Foster, a young Australian who lied about his age to get past conscription. Bishop complains to Whitehall, the British commander, but Whitehall denies it, saying that Foster wanted to see Bishop personally, and lied about his age just to get past conscription. Bishop asks Foster if Foster knows Morse code, and Foster affirms and follows Bishop.
Bishop finds that the first wave of soldiers failed. After tracking down the location of enemy lines, Bishop tells Foster to use Morse code to direct the dreadnoughts behind to open fire. After opening fire, Bishop and Foster start to get out. After Bishop sees Foster failing to level a gun properly, he tells Foster to stay and only move if Bishop fires a flare. Foster agrees, and Bishop joins the landing force to storm the beach.
On the beach, Bishop and soldiers start to secure the enemy trenches on the way to the top of Cape Helles' overlook, where an enemy base is established there, killing all Ottoman soldiers on the way. Bishop captures the overlook, firing the flare, only to discover that Foster had been following him from behind. Bishop rants on Foster's recklessness, and says that Foster only wants a statue on a town square. However, Bishop calms down, and teaches Foster the proper way of holding a rifle.

fun fact but the anzacs were not involved with the landing at Cape Helles it was the british 29th Division
the anzacs landed at anzac cove which was 26km away from cape helles
I like how they added more feeling and reality into this campaign. OMG...
Haven't played it, but it seems less like entertainment and more like something you'd have to play for history class

They made you play as a butt pipe in the piloting chapter but they make it up to you by giving you Bishop.

This is an absurd portrayal of the Gallipoli Campaign. Game developers tend to do an atrocious job incorporating a shred of historical accuracy into their games.

And to think that the descendants of the men you were mowing down with that rifle built a massive momument in honour of the Australian and Kiwi lads who landed on that beach. There is a mutual respect between Aussies, Kiwis and Turks today...

anzac wasn't involved with this part of Gallipoli it was the british the anzacs were at anzac cove and also because they were losing the front and they pulled back so they could reattack when the enemy has been pulled out or been pinned by artillery

I mean, you clearly didn't play the game or watch the video, because the whole reason he was attacking the fort was because the Ottomans were overrunning them and they were retreating and he was covering them.
it literally says so at the end that the ottomans won.

Neither side won, it was a stalemate and the ANZACs figured that out and decided to leave... It got so bad for you Turks that Aussie and Kiwi medics were stitching up your men and the diggers were providing them food as you lot were starving and dehydrated to the point of despair.
@@Funkteon the turks avoided the british from taking the high altitudes, that would have made possible for them to move further inland , and clear the forts that prevented the navy from going up to constantinople. Had they failed blocking the british, they would have lost the war in 1915. Of course, price was high, just like for the brits.
@@Funkteon Turks defended Canakkale basically against the whole world. And at that point the Turks were already beaten down badly. The Battle of Canakkale just shows how worthless western forces are.
