Wish reviewers would cover the precision on the threadiing on the stepless adjustment...How much does the rotations make a difference in grind size? This most important point of threads on the screw of the adjuster. That is the bottom line.
I can't decide between the DF64P and the DF64 GEN2. Which is the better choice?
Is there a diagram or video for calibrating the df64p? I’m comfortable working on things but don’t like to go in blind.
so if i loosen the half inch in the bottom i can move the lever without changing the grind?
so it would be 1. find the zero point, 2. loosen the screw, 3. put lever on "0",4. tighten the screw?
can you do Bialetti Moka aswell with the DF64P without the recalibration?
Hi Hoon, can you compare DF64P with Eureka zero?!
I'm really curious to find out which one is better.
I am in the market for grinder, I am thinking eureka oro mignon xl and df64p with ssp. I only drink espresso. What you would do if you were me,
Hoon, would be nice to showcase your top 5 grinders
Works for dark roasts, but depends on burrs. HU ssp are best for dark roasts. Usually zero point will be set slightly off zero to prevent burr damage
So the stock burrs on the DF64P are not meant for darker roasts?
Basically, it’s saying for dark roast this machine can’t grind it course it enough for dark roast.
That’s why he said it taste more like chocolate than dark coffee
@@dantu5377 I have had the machine for a week now and it can most definitely grind dark roasts. My retailer did adjust the internal factory grind size to suit espresso for me.
I love your honest approach to your videos! What grinder under $700 would you recommend? Mostly for espresso, but occasionally a French press as well
Hi Hoon, you experienced a very long shot at 22, then move off of your zero point, and you should have no problem with a very dark roast. As you probably don't need all that super fine range, so you gain some coarse range.
Hoon you use your df64 for that the one next to you😊. Hoon medium roast which I love should be no problem. But I can go to the other two grinders I have 😊😊😊😊
Hi, Hoon. Love the content in your videos. Can you please do a comparison of the multipurpose burrs in your other df64 vs this new 1 with the Gorilla burrs. Would love your opinion on which 1 is best for clarity on bringing out the flavor notes the best. Thank you
Great suggestion!
Are the stock Italmill burrs and stock calibration, I believe you haven't modified the DF64e in your possession, able to handle very dark roasts? Just curious if changing to the Gorilla burrs effected the grinding range on your DF64p.
surprised to see some hometown coffee on the counter!
That’s because it’s a espresso grinder only.
Have you heard of the Ceado E37z hero. Although this grinder is approximately $5000, it was introduced almost 5 to 6 years before any of the companies such as Weber. Single dose 83mm dlc flat burrs with no screws through them, variable rpm from 600 to 1500, on
/off fan switch, worm gear adjustable for large and small. It cannot be beat.
It can be
@@greysuit17 Granted the ceado is very expensive, I would like to know which single dose home grinder can top it now.
Why the gloves?
i guess he is a mickey mouse fan...
한국에선 이 그라인더를 구할방법이 없더라구요...

No one watching is using Starbucks coffee...LOL
