Creama makes a df64 gen 1 54mm holder. I've been using this for months, it's a good change for breville users.

I have the 54mm Breville system and I'm thinking about holding the portafilter and dosing funnel (same plastic one as yours) up to the grinder while grinding. Joe recommended using the supplied 58mm and pour it into the basket. That should work fine without fighting static. I'll try to remember to update this comment with my experience. Waiting for shipment of the unit. Been about 10 days since order.

Do you know if the Breville machine you have had any over pressure problems that some of the Barista Express has (and has to be modded)?

How big of a upgrade is it from the built-in Belleville grinder?

There is a different touch of color on a power button, in my country they launch with red button, and it looks ugly. What you have is perfectly nice touch

question , is there a huge difference in taste from the conical barista grinder and the df64 gen 2 flat burr ? I have the barista touch and i dont hate the espresso it grinds but the retention of that grinder is horrible ... i end up having to bang on the hopper 20 x to get the full amount out that i put in with beans ( i always single dose my coffee , i hate leaving beans in that hopper ) i have been looking at the df64 gen 2 and i think its great but is it really worth the 400 it costs in flavor ? thanks all

Great video Hoon, I have a pro also and I bough a Eureka Mignon Facile around the same time the DF64 came out and but the 64 had no history so I got the Eureka, I used the Eureka to make a few espresso and the had a much cleaner taste than the built in grinder but I keep my Eureka as a back up and used the built in grinder using WDT, the only problem I had with built in was retention even using a AIEVE Silicone Bellow I would have .3 - 1gm left, I have since gone back to using my Mignon, have home made bellows on it and can get all with sometime maybe .1 left, plus with the Mignon my favorite locally roasted Sumatra taste much sweeter then when using built in grinder, but if I were getting a grinder today I think it would be the DF64 Gen 2, great price, great burr options and they have show that they are willing to improve there grinders :)

Why would you use the built in if you had a Eureka that makes no sense ?

How do you compare the DF64 Gen 2 and the Eureka Mignon Zero? Did you prefer one over the other? I'm trying to decide between these two grinders

So no one is going to ask why he used 35 grind size 🤔 i use setting 9 isnt 35 too coarse ?

He has different burrs in the grinder. Changing the zero point. And there by changing the position of the grind sizes. The only solution is taking a heat gun to lift the sticker and spin it so the 0 on the sticker is at your new zero point. Him being at 35 on his grinder with ssp burrs is the probably the same as you being at 15 on yours at home. Basically the sticker is off set and it's meaningless.
