that's funny. I watched the video several times, df54 spent 15 seconds grinding. The author spoke to the camera for another 15 seconds, after which he stopped the stopwatch. when you checked the df 64 the grinding was stopped immediately.

What setting do you usually use for your espresso grinds? I have a DF54 as well and cant seem to dial in my beans 😅

and this is why we always recommend doing a simple 3-second cleaning after every grind if not like our host Zubin experienced, you might get a surprise 😂

Oh no does the df64 have a retention issue? I just purchased the August batch 😬

Not at all! The DF64's ioniser helps with the grind retention issue. Just note that what we are using were not brand new grinders but grinders we have been using constantly for experiments and testing.
The 64 needed more cleaning as grinds managed to build up over time at the ioniser probes so we always suggest to our customers to spend 3 seconds taking the pin brush and cleaning out the chute and the probes.
Just simple maintenance like that will go a long way in ensuring the plasma generators work well!
