I just learned about AP several months ago. I ordered the Go plus, i think it will fit in with my travel plans. Thank you for your knowledge & opinions.

I don't fuss about the coffee as much when I am traveling, but the small Go and pre-ground speciality beans let you get a good cup without too much fuss. I have a small scale, but I think with the aeropress if you just get close enough to the ratio with the scoop to where you fill it up you are close enough that its hard to screw up.
Does the flow control cap (and/or fellow prismo) fit inside the lid? The prismo fits just well enough inside the original go lid (red cap) that I just leave it on there, which is nice. I feel like it won't work with this one though.
The problem I have with companies like Stanley and now Aeropress constantly releasing new versions or new colors is the excess waste it creates. I really like the look of the Go Plus, but I already own the original Aeropress. I can’t justify buying the Go Plus when I know the Aeropress I own would probably never get touched again. What would make me buy the new product is a trade in system (sorta like Apple has with the iPhone) where I can trade in my current Aeropress for the company to recycle and in return I get a discount on my purchase of the Go Plus. I know there is a 99.999% chance that never happens, but that just means there’s only a 0.001% chance I buy another product from Aeropress.
I got the Original ie Mk2 then a later verson, I picked up a Go 5 minutes and the filter holder fell apart, never used the holder after that. I got the XL for Xmas 23 from Mrs for iced brews. My all time favourite is the Standard AP. All 3 of my Original AP came with Tote bags I understood the APGoPlus has extra tabs as you mentioned, and the actual top of the AP. This all tells me it is a different AP with the gasket and the prongs.
I would LOVE a video talking through your travel coffee setup, as well as exploring other travel accessories and possible demands for coffee making (espresso, no kettle available at location, pour over instead of aeropress, etc.) I’ve been trying to build out a travel kit similar to the one you showed in the video for when I travel, but I’ve found most videos already on RUclips to miss the mark when it comes to assembling a kit capable of doing good beans justice, while still being a reasonable size and weight. I’ll also say, I vastly prefer the old Go’s design to the Go Plus. I would much rather drink out of a plastic cup than a metal tumbler, and the new design isn’t realistic for the demands of backpacking - polypropylene is much lighter and more impact resistant than stainless steel. But I’m happy that both exist concurrently.
This is a GREAT idea and I don’t know why I hadn’t thought of it before. I have several travel setups for different reasons. And, I agree. The OG go is a better fit for backpacking
@@DaddyGotCoffee Really looking forward to seeing the video, then! Particularly on the subject of heating water when on the road, I feel like we don’t have many options. The Pakt was awesome until it was discontinued. I have a jetboil for camping and backpacking, but you can’t fly with isobutane, nor should you use it indoors. My last hotel didn’t even have a microwave, so I had to use hot water from their pod coffee maker. I’m curious if you have any solutions I’m unaware of, or if the market really is just lacking a good portable kettle aimed at coffee usage.
@@TeddyVanWinkle I have done the pod coffee machine for hot water lots of times. I re-run the same water through it several times to try and preheat it as much as possible and then will often brew with an aeropress that way
@@DaddyGotCoffee Interesting! I have tried running the water through twice, and the machine wouldn’t actually function a second time - either due to the water already being too hot, or the machine not being able to run the heating element again so quickly. I wonder if it’s simply to do with the quality or design of machine.
@@DaddyGotCoffeethe aergrind/aerspeed sticks out top of the plunger's hollow by about 3.5cm/1.5in so I think everybody asking mean "is there ~3.5cm of space in the bottom of the tumbler with aeropress seated in it?"
3:52 wat, how do you closed that cap for paper filters? I have this travel set for 2 years and never found out how I can close that thing, it's always in open position.
Yup the cap fits all and is roughly equivalent to the prismo less a few differences (the ap cap doesn’t come with a metal filter). More than enough filters fit in the bottom, I haven’t tried to max it out but I think you could easily fit 30-50 in there, if not more?
2:40 Is this the same size as the aeropress go? I thought it was 2 oz bigger. They look so close in size in the video but I'm guessing the extra marking labeled 4 on the Plus means it's bigger.
We had a lot of years of aeropress not releasing anything that may have pleased the hardcore fans. But releasing new products makes the whole thing more fun and keeps the company going, have at it I say.
I have the original and love it. Bought the Go, and love it. There are uses for both. But an $80 version, just dumb. It makes coffee and does so really well. Get the original and be done. Then enjoy.
I do like that it comes in a black travel cup. I've never had a cup of coffee from an Aero Press. I do a pour over directly into my travel cup with winged filters. I like to make a 16oz coffee and add cream in a 20 oz cup. The reason I have never purchased an Aero Press is I need a bigger cup of coffee.
Thanks for the great review! I am fully aware that it is nitpicking but until they release a Go plus with ceramic lining and a more clear finish on the aeropress, I will be sticking with my Go. Cheers!
You can buy a silicon boot for the base of the tumbler for more protection. But then again, it's something they should have included since it's very cheap.
Are you meaning the carafe that comes with the XL? Yes it’s too tall to totally fit inside, and also the gasket would not “hold” it in there like it does in the new tumblr. If I’m misunderstanding lmk!
I found the Aeropress go to be a little clunkier to carry around and clean up after use than my little pour over pourigami. Packs flat in my backpack. Easier and faster to clean up. I use the Aeropress at home.
I'm really torn. I was always a fan of the idea of the original Aeropress as a way to make coffee while backpacking. But, the original was a little large and heavy and didn't travel well. Then the Go came out and I got one almost immediately. It works great for camping EXCEPT the cup really isn't useful. I take my time when drinking coffee, and typically I camp in the winter, which means my coffee would either get cold or I would need an additional cup with a lid. Now comes the Go Plus. It checks a lot of boxes, but it's heavy. With the current 20% off promotion it's definitely appealing, but I don't know how much use I would get out of it. Does the extra weight make up for the need to no have a second ultralight cup? Time to do some weight tests.
I have an original and as you say, it gets the job done. What I am waiting for is the release of the glass model that was shown at the recent coffee show a couple of months ago I think it was. Do you have any info on when that will be released ? Thanks
I don’t have any real insight here but I would “guess” maybe august or September? But I would have said august or September a year ago! They showed it in April 2023 and as far as I know it’s still coming!
4:54 I would have agreed back when I went from the regular size to the shorter AP Go. But now I have been using the XL for more coffee in the morning. How about an XL Go? Also, I would rather a tumbler that would do all of that with the Aeropress versions that already existed.
What bag/case are you using for your travel setup? I’ve been looking to put together something similar but am having a hard time finding one that I really liked and the one you have seems to be what I’m looking for. If anyone else has recommendations, open to those as well.
I have the Go and I like it, but the bigger size and cup included would be nicer to travel with other than a bit more weight. My one concern is, will the coffee be too hot to drink immediately after brewing into the stainless steel tumbler? Of course you could wait a few minutes with the top off to let it cool down, but who wants to wait to drink their coffee in the morning LOL! Still, looks pretty good and sometimes the tumbler would be handy and you don't always find a good cup in many hotels.
Filter holder are at the bottom?! So, to clean the mug, I would have to unplug the filter holder, and they dry the bottom part of the mug, before plugging back the filter holder.. Doesn’t seem to be the optimal solution
I'm a french press user who has never used an aeropress. One of the things I like about the french press is that there's very little plastic coming into contact with the hot water (just a part of the press, and that's only during the pressing part, not the steeping part). Do you know if aeropress makes or will make a borosilicate version of their product? Or if there's something very like that on the market? I've heard great things about the quality of a cup of aeropress coffee, but I'm wary of all that plastic. Thanks!
A ceramic cup on a travel mug doesn't seem like the best idea for me, I think the decision to make it a vacuum insulated stainless steel one is far more sensible. Well tried with the critiques I guess but it really felt like you were scraping the barrel with them.
I’m talking about ceramic lined, which is still a stainless cup underneath. Just with a ceramic coating over top. They are just as durable as stainless mugs 💪
@@DaddyGotCoffeeI’ve recently bought my first ceramic lined mug and love it. I thought maybe it was all hype about them and I did various tests and I could tell the difference. I’m new to your channel- came across it by accident and have now subscribed as I like your direct simplicity and ‘easy to watch’ style.
I am a fan off aeropress and would love to have the plus go, but i live in the Netherlands and i have to wait a few months to be it available in our country
This is my first video I’ve watched from the channels d I’m and instant fan. Great review of the Go Plus. Truthfully, I’ll likely stick with my Go and Yeti set up (1st AP, by the way and love it more than my French press!). Oh yeah! Love that travel set up! I’m thinking I can do the same within my existing bag… 🤔😁
Hi , nice to meet you, i like the review, but my question is a little different, in the new videos of aeropress most of the people use the the pull in the normal position, but i Learn use it in the reverse process and leave the extra air away. For professional mode what your recommendation?
What you’re referring to is called “inverted method” it’s not oficially recommended because it’s a lot easier to spill and make a huge mess - BUT a lot of people do it and it does eliminate drip through which has a marginal impact on brew quality. I use the flow control cap/prismo because I’m lazy, it achieves the same thing and makes clean up a lot easier.
You can use a mesh filter (finer than a metal filter). I use the ultimate 13 micron mesh one from Cera. That way, you don't have to worry about dripping in the normal position. Also, the fine mesh prevents more sediments than a normal metal filter.
Honestly, the first AP I ever bought was for $7 new in the box at a thrift store. I was like what is this? Then whenever I find them for a good price I buy it. This full price business is craaazyyyy!
I'm not personally a fan of sticking my Aeropress into my coffee cup, one of them is going to be grosser than the other. That said it looks pretty great, if I didn't already have so many cups and coffee brewers I would probably pick it up and find a way to make it work. On that note does an Aergrind or any other good compact grinders fit inside?
What? the cap is one of the best features of the Aeropress Go. It acts as a dosing tray if you squeeze two opposing corners. the cap itself is a great tray for weighing and the dispensing the coffee beans into a coffee grinder. My only gripe with the aeropress go is that it does not fit the Fellow Prismo particularly well. Well, it does when it hot, but even then it is snug and it is a nightmare to remove when it cools down.
I have two of the Aeropress Go's. One lives in my truck, and one lives in my backpack gear. The perfect Aeropress would be the Go with a double wall titanium mug and usable lid. That plastic mug is worthless at keeping coffee warm. This new Plus looks promising but too heavy for backpacking on the lite. My $0.02 Whats the perfect mug that nests with the GO?
I’m an OG and Aeropress is my daily driver. I do think the prices are a little high now for what it is, but I’m thrilled they’re trying new ideas. Some will be hits and some will be misses, but it’s a whole lot better than nothing. Alan had a great idea inventing this thing, but that doesn’t mean I agree with all his decisions as far as brewing or the extremely minimalist approach to product releases.
I travel with my OG AP. I bring a travel mug that fits most of my extra gear. The one missing item is a good filter storage, the flip unit with the Go doesn’t look robust enough for travel, so I’m still looking.
I bought a original AP back in '22 (when the price was ~35€), i think. Used it for about a 1.5 years. Brewed every single WAC recipe i could find. Then some other brewing device came along. Since then my original AP is collecting dust in the cupboard. I never understood the weird hype about the colors and why these are more expensive.
For me the AP is one I always come back to. Did I buy an orea? Yup. Next Level Pulsar? You bet. Do I also still use my AP? Absolutely. In my house it has staying power. But, some people also move on from it
OG AeroPress user here. I have conflicted feelings about AeroPress. Alan Adler released the AeroPress Go, but as far as I knew, no one asked for a smaller AeroPress-we all wanted bigger. I don't recall anyone complaining that the AeroPress was not portable enough, only that it didn't make more than one serving. But the AeroPress XL is not it. It's kind of a tall Jenga tower waiting to collapse. We already have enough problems with the original size. The XL is just making accidents more likely. On the other hand, I love the metal filter, colors, and pressure cap. Alan released the Go when no one wanted it and refused everything else. New management is listening to the community, at the cost of raising prices. Gotta pay C-level bonuses, right? Yeah, conflicted.
Re: the private equity thing, there were a few changes that were clear money grabs IMO. The number of filters you got in the package was cut down. I remember you used to get 100 or even 200 in many cases. That and the price increase is meh. Some of the new ideas felt rushed or half baked but overall, i think them jumping onto the trend of "same product, multi colors" is ok since they also arent aggressively pushing fake "limited edition" colors for example (looking at Swatch)
I like the concept of the added tumbler but also agree that the plastic bottom base is a major issue for me. I have both a Yeti and a Kleen Kanteen tumbler that get dropped frequently but are built solid and hold up well to the road rash and dings from frequent falls. I know that it would only be a matter of time before that plastic base gets damaged and the tumbler becomes useless to me. If they update the base cap later with a metal one I’d be more prone to purchase it.
Awesome video.... Could you please let me know what is the make of the bag you use, it looks super handy and a perfect size for me, thankyou in advance
The original aeropress definitely is the best value and most recipes are designed for a standard sized aeropress. The Go I would only recc if you want the smallest possible package. The go plus is nice if you want to travel but still want the regular size. Most of the time I use the clear. Also, wait for a sale because they happen often!
New to this, I am shopping for an aero press. After my last few trips being very disappointed in trying to hunt down coffee. But I can grind at home, and I am not weighing things while i'm traveling. Is this a coffee snob thing? I'm sure I could figure out the grind and amount at home and move on lol. Im getting old.😅 ( I do think I will invest in a travel Kettle, however, because the hotel microwaves and equipment are really starting to gross me out these days.)
Nice video. I agree about a ceremic cup... that would be great, but more expensive. I love my Sttoke! One other issue... i love the flow control, but that won't fit with the cup i assume 😢
I was hoping you could just buy the travel mug and fit a regular Aeropress in there. This doesn't really blow me away at all, I'd rather just get a decent tumbler then instead of another Aeropress.
Yeah I hear you and I’m sure you’re not alone here. You can KINDA fit a regular AP in some tumblers by reversing the plunger, but it’s not as clean or secure as this. But a viable option if you don’t want/need a new press!
@@DaddyGotCoffee That's the trouble I've found with most tumblers and it would've been cool to get fix this way but alas. I'm just using a Fellow tumbler now instead, works fine but I can't fit anything in it.
My first and only aeropress is still the original aeropress go and I love it. Once I saw this one though my first thought was "that needs a ceramic liner" lol
The great thing about aero press is that they are eternal. Every aero press that has ever been made still exists - just in bits in dumps, or floating in the ocean, or in your bloodstream.

Unfortunately it doesn’t. I wish it did!
@@DaddyGotCoffee dang, here's hoping for the next iteration!
With a new launch from aeropress. Did they release a flow control filter cap for the XL?
They have not released this and I have no idea when it is coming, although I would guess it is in the pipeline somewhere!
I got the Original ie Mk2 then a later verson, I picked up a Go 5 minutes and the filter holder fell apart, never used the holder after that.
I got the XL for Xmas 23 from Mrs for iced brews.
My all time favourite is the Standard AP.
All 3 of my Original AP came with Tote bags
I understood the APGoPlus has extra tabs as you mentioned, and the actual top of the AP.
@@TeddyVanWinkle yes I think this would depend on machine. Surprisingly I have never had that issue!
Would a Knock Aergrind be able to store in the plunger of the go plus if I remove the scoop and stirrer?
I don’t have one to test, but I have heard this fits in the OG and the inner diameter of the plunger is the same on this one.
@@DaddyGotCoffeethe aergrind/aerspeed sticks out top of the plunger's hollow by about 3.5cm/1.5in so I think everybody asking mean "is there ~3.5cm of space in the bottom of the tumbler with aeropress seated in it?"
@@NightFate In this case the answer would be no. It’s pretty tight under there. A flow control cap won’t even fit.
3:52 wat, how do you closed that cap for paper filters? I have this travel set for 2 years and never found out how I can close that thing, it's always in open position.
Does the Flow Control Filter Cap fit underneath the tumbler lid?
Unfortunately not. I wish it did
Does the cap compatible with the original aeropress? I have the fellow one. And how many filters fit in that bottom lid?
Yup the cap fits all and is roughly equivalent to the prismo less a few differences (the ap cap doesn’t come with a metal filter). More than enough filters fit in the bottom, I haven’t tried to max it out but I think you could easily fit 30-50 in there, if not more?
@@DaddyGotCoffee I prefer paper + prismo. Had popped off incident when doing inverted, once is too many.
@@SoemarkoRidwanI agree, having a flow control cap (AP or fellow) is my go to as well.
so to be clear, if i can fit a grinder into the original aeropress's plunger, i can also fit it into this new one?
Correct!
This Aeropress is compatible with the flow control cap?
It works but doesn’t stow inside the mug with the lid secured
Does this AP work with the Fellow Prismo?
2:40 Is this the same size as the aeropress go? I thought it was 2 oz bigger. They look so close in size in the video but I'm guessing the extra marking labeled 4 on the Plus means it's bigger.
We had a lot of years of aeropress not releasing anything that may have pleased the hardcore fans. But releasing new products makes the whole thing more fun and keeps the company going, have at it I say.
Can you still use the FLOW CONTROL CAP with this new AP PLUS model? Will it fit inside the tumbler mug?
It fits but unfortunately doesn’t stow assembled in the mug. That’s a miss imo
I have the original and love it. Bought the Go, and love it. There are uses for both. But an $80 version, just dumb. It makes coffee and does so really well. Get the original and be done. Then enjoy.
Yup, absolutely nothing wrong with this!
Flow control would fit I assume? I prefer that
I'd hate a ceramic lining.. I've never had one that was sturdy enough to not develop small cracks over time of being in a checked baggage.
Unfortunately not! 😮💨 Would love to see this
I do like that it comes in a black travel cup.
Cheers!
What hand grinder would you recommend for the Go Plus? Thanks.
You can buy a silicon boot for the base of the tumbler for more protection. But then again, it's something they should have included since it's very cheap.
Would it fit the same way in an Aeropress carafe? Now that it has smaller plunger, as current Clear get stuck half way.
Same. Pourigami in my bag. Aeropress at home.
Can we get more info on that coffee go bag? Thats awesome, I am trying to set up something similar for on the go!
@@DaddyGotCoffee Ah..good to know. Thanks for quick reply ! Glad I discovered your channel..and just subscribed.
It’s this one and I love it! sttoke.com/products/sidekick
Btw where is that location of the aeropress go plus photo? I am from toronto but rarely venture out of the city 😂
It’s at Bruce peninsula national park near Tobermory!
@@DaddyGotCoffee thanks! Will add that to my next itinerary of a road trip!
@DaddyGotCoffee is it The Grotto?
I usually enjoy with the lid off and this is one reason why. If you want to get a sense of it, just try brewing your go into a stainless mug 💪☕️
@@DaddyGotCoffee I'm going to give it a try, just used your discount code to buy one. Thanks for all the great videos that you do.
@@larrygucciardo3801I love making them! 🥰
Is the tumbler leak proof? Can I throw it in my bag with coffee in it?
Not recommended. It’s a yeti-style magnetized lid opening cover and is not leak proof.
What's the name of that hand grinder? Thanks.
As a random note. I wish that they'd offera ll the colours for this model. So when you order one you choose what colour.
That would be rad if they did. But they’d probably also get slammed for being too capitalist 😂☕️
What’s the bag you are using for your travel?
It’s this one! sttoke.com/products/sidekick
Filter holder are at the bottom?! So, to clean the mug, I would have to unplug the filter holder, and they dry the bottom part of the mug, before plugging back the filter holder.. Doesn’t seem to be the optimal solution
Does the 1Zpresso Q2 fit in the AP with the cup?
I'm a french press user who has never used an aeropress. One of the things I like about the french press is that there's very little plastic coming into contact with the hot water (just a part of the press, and that's only during the pressing part, not the steeping part). Do you know if aeropress makes or will make a borosilicate version of their product? Or if there's something very like that on the market? I've heard great things about the quality of a cup of aeropress coffee, but I'm wary of all that plastic. Thanks!
The Aeropress Premium is supposedly in the pipeline and is made of glass and stainless steel.
@@nelsonglover3963 that would be perfect! Thanks for the heads up!
@@DaddyGotCoffee I didn't even know those were a thing!
Wish I could buy this case for my AeroPress clear. Just need that easy way to get it around
Will the flow control cap integrate to into the new go plus without any loose parts, etc?
It fits on the press itself but unfortunately the lid doesn’t snap on securely when you try to stow
Ah bummer. Lost opportunity for more sales 🤷
Why would they not just design it around their reusable metal filter?! Seems like the obvious solution to a lot of these smaller problems
I am a fan off aeropress and would love to have the plus go, but i live in the Netherlands and i have to wait a few months to be it available in our country
I'd be keen to be able to get the cup to be able to utilise an already owned OG aeropress
It doesn’t snap together quite as cleanly but if you put the plunger in backwards it technically fits
I wanna buy a go plus but it is out of stock right now. Any idea where I can get one?
How deep is the metal cup? I'm asking to know if there is any space in height for small grinder like porlex mini II.
Does it work with flow control cap?
It works but doesn’t stow inside the mug with the lid secured
OK guys I have like a question. Will the aeropress fit or work with one of those short fat yeti coffee mugs or are those two wide?
Also, the fine mesh prevents more sediments than a normal metal filter.
og aeropress used to be 20 something dollars! and had tons of accessories and filters!
Fair point! Others do fit width wise but are slightly too long
What? the cap is one of the best features of the Aeropress Go.
Clearly I am missing the boat on the go cap 🤣☕️
I have two of the Aeropress Go's. One lives in my truck, and one lives in my backpack gear. The perfect Aeropress would be the Go with a double wall titanium mug and usable lid. That plastic mug is worthless at keeping coffee warm. This new Plus looks promising but too heavy for backpacking on the lite.
My $0.02
Whats the perfect mug that nests with the GO?
Someone mentioned the soto thermostack cups fit! I rate them for the flexibility, they are light and already own the set.
How many ounces does aeropro make?
Can anyone tell me how many ounces the tumbler holds? Thanks.
Does anyone know what the max brewed coffee ounces are for each one of these aeropress models?
I bought a original AP back in '22 (when the price was ~35€), i think. Used it for about a 1.5 years. Brewed every single WAC recipe i could find. Then some other brewing device came along. Since then my original AP is collecting dust in the cupboard.
I never understood the weird hype about the colors and why these are more expensive.
For me the AP is one I always come back to. Did I buy an orea? Yup. Next Level Pulsar? You bet. Do I also still use my AP? Absolutely. In my house it has staying power. But, some people also move on from it
Out of curiosiiy, what did you get? haha
So just the added cup?
Re: the private equity thing, there were a few changes that were clear money grabs IMO. The number of filters you got in the package was cut down. I remember you used to get 100 or even 200 in many cases. That and the price increase is meh. Some of the new ideas felt rushed or half baked but overall, i think them jumping onto the trend of "same product, multi colors" is ok since they also arent aggressively pushing fake "limited edition" colors for example (looking at Swatch)
Also I have my trusty gold letter aero press still working though I had to finally replace the plunger on mine
Time and use will tell the tale on this one!
Awesome video.... Could you please let me know what is the make of the bag you use, it looks super handy and a perfect size for me, thankyou in advance
I want to buy my first Aeropress. Which one should I buy the Original one or Aeropress Go?
The original aeropress definitely is the best value and most recipes are designed for a standard sized aeropress. The Go I would only recc if you want the smallest possible package. The go plus is nice if you want to travel but still want the regular size. Most of the time I use the clear. Also, wait for a sale because they happen often!
New to this, I am shopping for an aero press. After my last few trips being very disappointed in trying to hunt down coffee. But I can grind at home, and I am not weighing things while i'm traveling. Is this a coffee snob thing? I'm sure I could figure out the grind and amount at home and move on lol. Im getting old.😅 ( I do think I will invest in a travel Kettle, however, because the hotel microwaves and equipment are really starting to gross me out these days.)
which is best for Aeropress the 1ZPRESSO K/J/ or X Ultra from flavor tense perspective?
Great video! What ist the length of the whole thing? There are no sizes mentioned on the Aeropress side. Would like to know, if it fits in my bag
Nice video. I agree about a ceremic cup... that would be great, but more expensive. I love my Sttoke! One other issue... i love the flow control, but that won't fit with the cup i assume 😢
Correct - it doesn’t fit when stowed 😭
I'm massively sceptic about Aeropress because of the microplastic fantastic. The new Premium non-plastic so I may finally give Aeropress a try.
Now I want a bottle that just holds my ordinal aeropress with filter storage on the bottom
Yup!
My first and only aeropress is still the original aeropress go and I love it. Once I saw this one though my first thought was "that needs a ceramic liner" lol
The squarish cup allows for easier pouring. And the smaller size of the brewer is a preference thing. But for everything else, the Go+ looks superior.
Me, "wait a minute, is that Tobermory?"
2 seconds later, "it is!!"
Ha! IYKYK!
The great thing about aero press is that they are eternal. Every aero press that has ever been made still exists - just in bits in dumps, or floating in the ocean, or in your bloodstream.
Likely along with whatever you typed this comment on! Concerns about plastics are totally reasonable - if that’s a concern for you I’d (obv) recommend a different brewer. Check out the Varia Flo review I posted! Zero plastic 🤙 Also, at some point aeropress will release the glass version they teased last year
I would also rather drink from an open cup. I find you get a better flavour, maybe because you can smell the coffee better as well as taste it.
Yup! Most of the time I have used this with the lid off!
Does the filter control cap fit on the go plus?
It does! But not while stowed. These are pre-production presses so if that changes I will let you know!
