This is a great tip! Finally a way to use that old ipad! Could you use a Kindle for this as well?
I know Amazon Kindles work as long as the Tablet runs on Android. You will need to Google the App apk to sideload the app since Amazon tablets don't have an official Google play store.
I would.., but I have a Google home display in every room so I can tell it to clean any room! About to pick up the dreame h12 pro because I don’t want to create zones and wait for the robot every time with 5 kids walking through the mess(es) every time.. plus it can reach where the robot cannot mop (MaxV Ultra)
I just use Alexa with my Roomba lol

Yes there a separate dryer mopping attachment. I haven't personally tried one, on the S8 Pro it built in, but haven't noticed it drying very well. So far the Dreametech and Ecovacs seem to dry better after 4 hour period.

I think that they should bring back screens on robot vacuums again. People were angry when neato took that away in connected d series

@@RobotMasters oh and did I mention I wanna wait patiently for Reactive AI 3.0 (although China’s G20 calls the S8’s reactive 3D reactive AI 3.0, so maybe Reactive AI 4.0!?!????) which has an RGB camera, an infrared Camera, an infrared sensor, the structured light, and fill light, a BUILT IN VOICE ASSISTANT (c’mon Roborock!!!!!), dual brushes for the pad washing mechanism, VibraRise 3.0 with a fully retractable mop and 6000x scrubs a minute, detection of wet spills with the camera, automatically raising the brush when detected, and avoided when the spill is diarrhea, ETC ETC ETC. BUT DON’T MAKE ME REMIND TOU AGAIN ROBOROCK, ADD. THE. TOUCHSCREEN!

Well depending on if you need a self washing station. The Dreametech L10s Ultra, Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra or the Narwal Freo are good mopping/vacuum robots that can go onto carpets with their mopping pads installed.

@Vivek Kumar Well if you don't want or need the live video streaming aka front camera on the Robot than the S8 Pro Ultra a good alternative over the S7 MaxV Ultra. I personally like the S7 MaxV .
@@RobotMasters great Nathan. live video streaming is not needed. we just need it for good cleaning of the hard floor downstairs and carpeted floor upstairs. suction power of S8 pro ultra is higher that makes it better for the carpets (our's is medium pile)

@Vivek Kumar I found during my testing the S7 MaxV Ultra performed better at cleaning than the S8 Pro. If you don't need the self washing docking station than the original S7 a good option.
