I laughed at your comment about a new car not being truly yours until you have washed it, because it is so true. My recent new car, I received it from the dealer on a Friday afternoon and I spent all day Saturday, cleaning every inch of it., inside and out. My wife said, "Why are you cleaning a brand new car so much," I replied, "You wouldn't understand, it's just a need, I need to make it mine." Great car, look forward to more videos about it.
Completely agree with this😂. I always used to ask the seller not to bother cleaning the car as I’ll be doing it to my standard anyway plus I get to see all the defects. Bought my old ep3 back last year and told seller please do not touch it as I’ll be cleaning it regardless despite me knowing the car
Can we acknowledge for a sec that this is a bloody handsome car? I could do w/o the sun roof but there are some shots here that put this straight into high end classic territory design wise. That shape aged extremely well. Great color combo.
Really not a fan of unsightly sunroofs either but guess it was just the done thing back then 🤷♂️. I’m going to get it tinted and re-trim the headliner black to make it a little less noticeable.
A lot of stick in the mud badge snobs will never do that! After owning many of these cars over the last 25 years Ive learnt that. Ive got a turbo plus model that turns heads whenever I drive it.
I’ve been doing valeting / detailing for 23 years and love that your always learning wee tricks off watching other people doing the job , another great video my man 👍🏻🏴
I see you have a soft spot for 5 cylinder machines. The sound sure is something else. I love Fiat COUPE pretty awesome car in my mind. Cant wait for you to make it shine better than new👍
After hating your Honda I come to love it, I then saw everything you saw in that car,I couldn't, I'm sad it's gone but the Fiat is a fine purchase, my mate had a blue one back in the 90s and my god it was quick. I'm sure you'll cherish the old girl 👌👍
I've had several of these. They have all been reliable. They are great cars & should deserve more respect. I sold my last one to fund my restoration of my tipo sedicivalvole. I will get another one
@CarCleaningGuru service it regularly & only use good quality oil. Cambelts need changing before the (I think) 72000 miles. In my experience, I don't let any garage touch my Italian cars. Oh & headlights are shockingly poo but you have probably noticed by now.
Always wanted one of these cars. It was new around the time I was doing my driving test and when I saw a yellow one with matching glossy yellow dashboard It floated my boat. Sadly I've never been able to get my hands on one. Good examples now are few and far between.
Always loved the front end on these things, but the other angles, less so. I've always felt that real lamps look like what you'd find on a kit car. Will be interesting to see it come along.
Oh man I was obsessed with this car as a teen! (thanks Gran Turismo!) Being from the US, we didn't get any Fiat's at the time. The Coupe still seems like an exotic automotive unicorn to me. Such an awesome choice for your next ride 👌 Stay clean Guru!
Damn.. this is the first video of yours that has popped up in my notifications in maybe a year, and I have the bell notifications on, I forgot it even existed, what did you do to piss off the algorithm?
Merry Christmas and a happy new year! I've been watching you for years and have watched almost every video, some, several times! I really appreciate your efforts! I recently purchased a 2008 Fiat 500 1.4 Sport and have been revisiting many of your videos to put them to practice on my my new car. If I could suggest a future video idea, the ins and outs of basic car washing/detailing for new comers explaining why use a product over another and how and when. Thanks again! Best wishes! Ray.
Fantastic car, I almost bought one years ago but the engine blew up in the test drive(the sales man was driving it luckily) I can’t wait for the work to begin on this
Cool car and it looks to be in great shape! Merry Christmas!

I always get equal parts horror and satisfaction from removing the thick crust of crud from the arches on any new car. Even my wickedly shiny GC8 from years ago was harbouring enough dirt to grow a field of taters in the bright red rear arches! Congratulations on the car! The coupe I always thought looked amazing anyway but as it ages it just gets better and better. One of the best colours too along with that beautiful sounding five banger. Looking forward to seeing the interior being done to guru standards. Have a great Christmas dude!
As my 15 year old son is trying to set up a car cleaning business and needs to keep kit cheap as you said because of 20 quid valets, the idea of using bog brushes for wheels rather than expensive dedicated brushes is brilliant. Looks like a trip to Ikea is coming for a few £1 ones.
FIAT was great back then. First one to toss Turbo in high production cars. Brazil had 2 FIATs that were fire... Fiat Uno Turbo and Fiat Tempra Turbo. They were so cool.
Месяц назад+1
Two cars which I never had and sadly probably never will own now... the Mk1 Uno Turbo and the Tipo 2.0 16v. Such cool cars!
Great car, I had a sprint blue one for 5 years. The handbrake used to stick on when it was a frosty morning so I couldn't use it if I wanted to get to work on time. (The handbrake that is. I wasn't going to walk it)
Great video on a cool car.👌😎 A mate of mine had one back in the '00s. It was well quick and great fun to drive. Looking forward to more videos on it.👍👍👍
Nice change from the Honda! Love the Fiat Coupe, always think of the TopGear episode where Clarkson put spikes on the wheels of one. Think it was in the Police car challenge!
Oh such a cool car mate! I quite enjoy Labo producs too, fair price and most of them are concentrated. Sidero (iron remover) and Idrosave (rinseless wash) are two favorite of mine
Still a futuristic looking beauty. And this example looks to be in great hands. Regarding changing the titanium coloured : rear light cups , mirrors , grill....these are all LE period and factory correct and will devalue the car. The wheels are the later ' Plus ' spec with the original being titanium colured standard 20VT spec. You should have the ' Plus ' spec yet homologated for all 20VTwheel , wider tyres.....I have a Coupe , at times it get's washed more than myself. Not to your standard mind.....Great car. Subscribed...
I wish car manufacturers would go back to designing interesting cars like this. Everything looks the same on the roads now. Always wanted a 20v they sounded great. Almost had a Fiat Marea 20v estate but ended up with something else because the wife didn't like it : )
Very nice car and a good investment, that car is only going up in value! I remember losing sprint against Coupe 16v turbo's easily..I drove in a 309 GTI16 (160 hp)
Great stuff, Joe, looking forward to further fettling. I've got the Labocosmetica ceramic enhancing shampoo which smells amazing but is pricey, as is most of their range IMO.
Mister Guru!! How are u sir?? One of the cars I used to valet (Back In The Day) was my Dad’s brand new 1979 Fiat 132 2 litre, in Champagne Gold. Cracking, lovely, lovely Italian motor. Just don’t mention the random unexplained corrosion etc etc… 😝😝😝😝
Hi there, greetings from Italy! I’m glad to see that you used Labocosmetica products, they are phenomenal. Just a question: Why didn’t you use the acid shampoo Purifica? You’ve just missed the most important part of a decon wash. The car was full of minerals contaminations. In this cases use Purifica in 1:100 dilution. I saw that the car has a protection on; be careful with acid shampoos, they tend to stripp off the protections, use it at not less than 1:100 diluted.

Fix it again TONY
In the States, we would never consider buying a FIAT?

Your detailing skills/videos are definitely enhanced by your literacy of the English language, great video matey.

But honestly mate - ridiculously good looking car!

My old neighbour had one. He spent more time under it than inside it, but it was a beauty. This car has aged like a fine wine!
You are a true legend bying one of these, such a cool car!!
Gotta give it a go even if only for a year!
@ show us what you can do with it, I have every faith !
I’ve been doing valeting / detailing for 23 years and love that your always learning wee tricks off watching other people doing the job , another great video my man 👍🏻🏴
Your C30 will always be my favourite but this looks pretty nice too!
I see you have a soft spot for 5 cylinder machines. The sound sure is something else.

The Guru always delivers, nice choice on the new car

A modern classic,I'd say.
Deffo 👍
I've had several of these. They have all been reliable. They are great cars & should deserve more respect.
I sold my last one to fund my restoration of my tipo sedicivalvole.

Good to hear. Any tips to help improve reliability would be much appreciated, although it’s been fine for the first cold & damp month 🤞

Good morning from Greece 🇬🇷
Love these coupes, greetings from Greece!
Look forward to the interior clean. I’ve always liked these cars used to be referred to as the baby Ferrari. Enjoy working on it 👍
I've had two of these over the years. Brilliant cars 😁
Always wanted one of these cars. It was new around the time I was doing my driving test and when I saw a yellow one with matching glossy yellow dashboard It floated my boat. Sadly I've never been able to get my hands on one. Good examples now are few and far between.
I really wanted a yellow one as they look so exotic but as you say, hard to find!
Had one of these a few years back. Loved it, fantastic car. Sounds amazing
Oh this is a rad ride. Congrats on the new purchase Guru
I can't wait for the tasteful mods as well as the cleaning
Amazing!!! Greeting from Greece 🇬🇷
What a nice car! A complete classic! Greetings from Portugal :D
Congrats on your new ride! You should have plenty of videos to produce on this vehicle...Greetings from the States.
I love the 3pH system of Primus, Purifica and Semper used along with Sidero.
Always loved the front end on these things, but the other angles, less so. I've always felt that real lamps look like what you'd find on a kit car. Will be interesting to see it come along.
Congratulations on your new car, Joe. It's in fantastic shape. And I know you will keep it that way.
Great car, congrats! I recently got it's nephew, the Alfa Romeo GTV 3.0 V6 24V. Can't wait for the next spring to come and give it some TLC!
It was one or the other, prefer the GTV if I’m honest so might look to swap once I’m done with this.
Brooooo! You are out there, living my dreams! I have a list of ordinary dream cars. I wish I could just get after it.

Best of luck with the new car enjoy
congrats on the new car! Some new bigger wheels with a bit more aggrasive stans should do wonders i think! maybe even some coilovers.
Always loved the coupes. I think they look best in the blue colour. Still traumatised from a black car I owned previously trying to keep it clean! 😂
Sweet ride! Who doesn't love a 5 pot?!? BTW, your old C30 was one of the best sounding engines I've heard!

I had a bravo hgt that did the same
Bloody he'll!! What a stunning looking car. Great video as usual and look forward to future ones. Merry Christmas to you and yours.🙂👍
One of my favourites! Well done on your purchase!
Love it!! Total iconic motor 👌🏼

Nice vid guru. Cool car! I've never seen one before
Absolutely brilliant choice!
Great choice of car mate , looking forward to seeing it in many more videos 👍
I had a mk2 uno turbo years back. Gutted I let that one go, it was a riot. Congrats mate 👍🏻
Wow uno turbo! Worth a pretty penny now I bet!
Gorgeous car.
Anyone who disputes the 90s being the dogs nuts are just plain wrong
Love your new car going to be nice to see old school
Looking forward to seeing another Gurumobil getting shipshape!
Love it! Something very different and interesting 👍🏻
Great video on a cool car.👌😎 A mate of mine had one back in the '00s. It was well quick and great fun to drive. Looking forward to more videos on it.👍👍👍

Back to 5 cilinders!!
Great to see a bit of unusual retro car. I washed my car today and thought crikey this nilfisk sounds bad, turns out yours sounds similar to.
Nice new house 👍
I wish! Just making use of the parents new front as it’s in a posher part of town 😬
That thing is gonna look fu#kin mint when you get it sorted. Plenty of pininfarina car cleaning coming in 2025. Beautiful car, good luck 🤞🤙
Looking forward to the content on this beauty
That Fiat is fucking beautiful.
Very nice car and a good investment, that car is only going up in value!

Gran Turismo 2 legend
Gonna get on it over Christmas. Think I’ve got a race modded one in the garage 😬
As a Yank I am not really familiar with tihs car, but wow what a funky and fabulous whip!
That hood! Never mind the broomstick
Haha hood so heavy the struts never work 🙈
Always wanted one of those but ended up with an Alfa. The products appear to work well.
new badges, 20v and bonnet badge 😉
Let me know when you find some!
