After 40 years I am finally going to see The Cult, together with my brother who has also been a fan for 40 years. Bought tickets 2 days ago. Their show in Amsterdam was sold out in an hour, so now I have tickets for the other venue in Tilburg, Netherlands. Can"t wait!
The chemistry between Ian and Billy is still so strong. The band sound better than ever and Ian’s voice has really adapted well over the years. He’s singing these dynamite songs incredibly well! 👏🏼
Yes, back in the day I felt Ian was ducking out of a lot of his parts, which annoyed me… but here the band tune down only a little and Ian's adapting his parts in a way that I'm growing to like, so it feels like a complete performance now. Plus Billy sounds amazing, my gosh…
Yep, I've seen TC 8 times, never a dud... perhaps the Rochester show could have been better, can't blame them tho, the whole place stunk of sewage. But the squad pushed through. The Buffalo show was astounding.
I’d love to hear Wild Hearted Son but that’d be maybe a bit hard on his vocals at his age possibly. Either way The Cult are an awesome underated group that deserved more credit in their prime. Rock on🤘
Ian has to have one of the most powerful rock voices I've ever heard. If I had to pick any voice I wish I had, this would be it. Excellent and controlled vibrato. Man, what a legend. And Billy's sound...I mean, the whole band....damn!
"The cult", started showing up in my recommended videos list. I knew who they are and had heard several of their songs over the years but had never really followed them. That has since changed. I have a great appreciation for great musicians and vocalists. The power trio, RUSH, is my all time favorite band but with their dissolution and the untimely death of Neal Peart, I have been looking for replacement bands. "The Cult" and "Metallica", have helped fill in my musical gap left after RUSH "retired". Billy Duffy is a great guitarist and I really enjoying watching him and '"The Cult', preform live. LONG LIVE ROCK AND ROLL!
Had tickets to see them on this tour in Philly, which is an hour & 45 minutes from me. Had to get tested by Drs for Covid within 72 hours before the gig to gain admittance. The girl I was taking & I got in a fight on the phone the day before & she told me she wasn’t going & she didn’t wanna see me anymore! Needless to say, I didn’t go, cuz I couldn’t find anyone else to go in time or get rid of the tickets. I ended up just eating the cost of the tickets, which was only like $143 in total. I would’ve cost me more to go, because I would’ve had to pay for gas, parking & dinner. That girl since died of cancer, but I’m not happy about it. That & I didn’t get to see the Cult
I didn't buy tickets for this tour because I was afraid I would be disappointed hearing my favourite band after so many years. I saw them so many times when they were in their prime. Stupid me because they're still in their prime. I'm kicking myself now for this decision. Next time! They also played one of my faves, Rain. What a great job!
Please Come back to La Belle Province!!!!..would be highly appreciated....And I could go with my kids this time...THE CULT ROCKS 4EVER AND EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!My favorite band since Electric!!!!!!!!!!Most Underated band.of alltime
The Rock Solid band of my Youth as I was on the outskirts of SoCal Skate Punk. The Cult came in with a new vision of the Old Rock'n Roll. Full of Homage and Recognition yet firing into what could be. The Cult became for me an expression of new horizons. An amalgamation of the best of many worlds. I am SO damn happy that Ian and Billy continue.
perfectly stated. same feeling, same time, same opinon. in a world of garbage, the cult remains. i am so happy to have seen this band thorughout my life withstand mass scrutiny. totally define the world that they inhabit. true rebels. when everyone doubted them they were immune. their struggles unavoidable shameless. they just kept defining rock n roll as they see it. and here we are in these days and i can literally count on one hand the number of bands that are even in a neighboring class of music. its so life affirming to hear this band sound as fucking solid and pure at this stage in the game. when Love came out we were convinced they were vampires. maybe they are.
Cult meaning 1) a small religious group that is not part of a larger and more accepted religion and that has beliefs regarded by many people as extreme or dangerous. 2) a group that sets itself apart from more accepted rock bands of the era in terms of creative musicality .
I went and saw them on the last show of the tour in Phoenix. They were fantastic! I wish they would play, "Wild Hearted Son," because that's one of my favorites.
Great show 🙂 Ian and Billy are as fabulous as ever... The rest of the band ( sorry if I don't know their names, I'll Google it... ) are doing a great job too... Billy's tone is impeccable as always and his riffs and solos magical... It's always funny to see him switch from the Gretsch White Falcon to a Les Paul which looks like a toy in his hands because it's smaller... Fabulous band 🙂🙂
Great performance, ian and billy on top, great drumming, very cool bass playing, but the keyboarder fullfills this with his atmospheric playing and the great backing vocals. Maybe the best live performance ever
Awesome concert! Great band! Billy and Ian... what a team! I love The Cult! Ian's vocals are as good as always! Thank you so much for sharing! It's like being there! 😃 ❤
They are strange but they are very very good. I've seen them twice in my life. Once opening for Billy idol in 1987 at Irvine Meadows California. The second time at the Greek theater in Los Angeles I think around 2019. They are one of a kind to be sure!
Astbury is just a bit nuts but what a band. I saw them years ago and he started the gig by apologising for how shit all their previous music was as they’d changed musical direction. Couldn’t agree less, love sonic temple. At least he’s come back round, although I think he’s held the band back with his bs throughout the years.
I think Ian went American hard rock and metal rock to blend with Americans and then sounded so loud, got wild, without his old nice moves and handsome style. So to me his old music is better because of it's British style. Maybe if he mixed it with American it be good to. But as he said in his interview way back he went American rock and liked his new experienced American rock producer. At least he sings some of his old stuff like revolution and she sells sanctuary. Otherwise I wouldn't enjoy it fully. He was humble, patient, laid back and rock class. He started becoming this serious hard person around 1987 when he started changing his music and producer. It's like he's sort of gone. His dress style is dark and Gothic and he used to look so nice. Sure older means changes but some flair would be nice. Guess sometimes Rock can harden you. Ian took a long break back then but although he's cool and interesting he still seems hard. Like Chris Robinson became hard but he took a hiatus, reflected and he admitted he had some problems. He's become more humble, classy and happy fun guy on stage even better than when he was young. Guess it takes really much effort to see the problems and conquer them. Still love Ian though. He's still got something special out there even if I miss some of his qualities. 🌺
Omg thank you for posting ❤ ian has a piece of my heart, his lyrics are outta this world. I got to see them twice and i can't wait to do it again! This band is legendary 🤘
How much I love this band. Vendetta X is brilliant.
Yeah, weird that they didnt do more tracks from the then new album, its has great songs!
After 40 years I am finally going to see The Cult, together with my brother who has also been a fan for 40 years. Bought tickets 2 days ago. Their show in Amsterdam was sold out in an hour, so now I have tickets for the other venue in Tilburg, Netherlands. Can"t wait!
Cool ! Enjoy
im sick, edinburgh tickets sold out

Me too in Milan ❤
yes! I grew up with The Cult !!! ❤
In my humble opinion, the best damn rock group left on the planet
WOW!!!!!!!!
Ian's voice sounds great, Billy sounds fantastic, such a joy to see the Cult still slaying it.
The most delighfful band
Billy is everything ❤
45 years or so since they started making music, very happy to know they are still at it.
Ian’s voice has actually gotten better. He’s sounds better than ever! Fantastic! 👏🏻
deeper and more soulful (if you can believe it!)
Like a fine wine or some shii 🖤🤘 Hell yeah man Absolutely fukin Tremendous!
The Cult STILL has the chops...they havent lost a step🎸
This band can still rock the same as 40 years ago. Time machine!
I can't love it more. My teenage, my 20s, my life.... with them. I´m 51 now.
Damn! His voice still sounds incredible! 😳
Bill has gotten insanely good. The way he switches between parts so he doesn't need a second guitar player is freaking masterful.
Very best fucking rock n roll Band... Yeah!!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻😈❤️
INcredible mix
Was and always will be one if not the best bands of the 80s 🤟 Good to see them still kicking arse in the fucked up 21st century!
The chemistry between Ian and Billy is still so strong. The band sound better than ever and Ian’s voice has really adapted well over the years. He’s singing these dynamite songs incredibly well! 👏🏼

❤❤❤ I LOVE THIS BANDA
simply one of the most unique voices in rock
She sells sanctuary... AMAZING SONG
I’d love to hear Wild Hearted Son but that’d be maybe a bit hard on his vocals at his age possibly. Either way The Cult are an awesome underated group that deserved more credit in their prime. Rock on🤘
Muito bom
com certeza....

Thanks for sharing. Awesome. Mr Duffy and Astbury still rocking it. "This is NOT a concert, this IS a spiritual gathering" LOVE THE CULT 🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟😎
best band ever. been saying that since the early 80s.
Haven’t heard many bands, they have some real good music. But best ever🫵 that’s over stepping big time
Jr League
Billy's in top form!
Fantastic!

The sound engineer along with The Cult's expertise, they're the key! Greetings. 🤘
Shit they are still good. Saw them at Wembley Arena back in 1986/87 something like that..when I was a teen.
We all adore Billy D obviously but i think Ians voice is epic.. really truly so..
Had tickets to see them on this tour in Philly, which is an hour & 45 minutes from me. Had to get tested by Drs for Covid within 72 hours before the gig to gain admittance. Hoping you will get another chance
They sound awesome.....for some oldtimers. :). Im glad they still rocking 🍻, the voice its still there....:)
Far better than a lot of stuff today.
yes their musiccianship etc has aged like fine wine
I didn't buy tickets for this tour because I was afraid I would be disappointed hearing my favourite band after so many years. I saw them so many times when they were in their prime. Still awesome after many decades.
Never disappointed…
Damn Billy Duffy is on the top of his game
He killed it! He just keeps playing so good!!!

Still got it after all these years . Keeps me alive
What a performance! They've still got all that talent. Good production on the video too.
Never disappoints… thanks
I went and saw them on the last show of the tour in Phoenix. They were fantastic! I wish they would play, "Wild Hearted Son," because that's one of my favorites.
Man! One of the best Cult shows I’ve ever heard!
I was there last night on the rail! Fantastic show.

Great show 🙂 Ian and Billy are as fabulous as ever...

Fabulous band 🙂🙂
Yeah! That rhythm section on that tour, simply solid!
BIlly Duffy ...underrated genius!!!
Billy being the great foundationally underrated solid guitarist he is and damn if that isn't the most solid I have heard Ian's voice...
Great performance, ian and billy on top, great drumming, very cool bass playing, but the keyboarder fullfills this with his atmospheric playing and the great backing vocals. Maybe the best live performance ever
Best live is the sessions
This aint bad though
Perhaps I was wrong
Awesome concert! Great band! Billy and Ian... what a team! I love The Cult! Ian's vocals are as good as always! Thank you so much for sharing! It's like being there! 😃 ❤

Maybe you should stick with your Billy Idol !

Sounds great, although I preferred them performing live with a rhythm guitarist as well. Fills out the sound during BIlly's solos.
