WOW!!! WHAT A FUCKING SHOW!!! A PHENOMENAL PERFORMANCE BY THE CULT... I was at this show. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH for bring back SUCH A GREAT MEMORY!!!😊🤘🖤💜🔥
Cielos ... vaya energía y buena vibra que nos sigue dando "The Cult", más de 30 años después y es como si lo hubiera escuchado ayer, encerrado en mi cuarto y mi estereo a todo volumen, allá por mi años 80s y 90s. "She sells sanctuary", "sweet soul sister", "fire woman", "rise", "love removal machine", "wild flower" ... ¡¡¡ que canciones tan increíbles !!!.
Rubin rubbish. That "talkin' 'bout love' chorus is so annoying. Tempesta is great, but it's soulless. Jamie was right when he said the original chorus that got blown out by Rubin's makeover had a really nice interplay between Billy and Ian got replaced for low-quality mullet rock should've stayed. Go watch Love Removal Machine from '86 live. It should've stayed the way it was written. Electric is pure corporate rock trash.
Yes, he cuts it short like he's rapping..lol. Hold the note. Maybe it's a punk thing..lol He played with The Doors and his voice was amazing and melodic.
They are mostly a nostalgia band now, it's true. I saw them in 2022. It was nice, but it was a greatest hits show. They stopped innovating long ago. '84 - '86 just before the Electric disaster was the time to see them. Lots of cool things going in that time-frame. All to be trashed so they could become US corporate rock.
Goodness that "Electric" version of Electric Ocean is quite annoying. Sonic rubbish. Give me the Peace version. A desecration of the original song. When they went full-on loud corporate US hard rock they really lost something. Never to get it back.
Astbury, Duffy and Tempesta….Legends!
THIS IS CULT!
This is seriously good. Billy Duffy is a superb guitar player.
He's a friggin guitar god

That version of Love Removal Machine is killer. If you don't feel like breaking something by the end of that you gotta be deaf.

I love Ian’s voice, I just wished he would sustain the notes longer- Especially in Fire Woman
Yes, he cuts it short like he's rapping..lol. Hold the note.
Maybe it's a punk thing..lol
He played with The Doors and his voice was amazing and melodic.
He seems a little breathless. Still a big show.
Jim Jr.
Can you handle it?
This is brill, but who would like to kill editors who switch shot every 2 seconds?? What is wrong with these people.
1985
Seen better gigs ian was not at his best.
Don't you hate when a kick-ass band becomes so stale that they no longer sing but chant or shout the lyrics out no longer worth the price of admission
