I am finally making this quilt - I am completely self-taught (sewing machine and quilting) and have learned so much from these videos. The tip to fold the fabric and slide it from the point in the block to the edge of the fabric prior to sewing was such a game changer for me. It's the little things...
    Thank you so much.

Classic Coffee Cake 🎂 is a delicious three layer cake made of a layer of Matt (who cuts the beautiful layer cakes, strips and kits), a layer of Donna (for the beautiful piecing, quilting and selfless teaching) and a top layer of son James (for the professional videos for all of us to learn from and enjoy.) Delicious? You bet because, all the three are elaborately put together to make a sweet dessert. Learning to quilt from your videos is filling my life after children with such joy and blessings to my family. THANK YOU 🙏🏽

This is my all time favorite pattern video (along with your “Shadow Boxing” pattern). The camera work with close ups at the sewing machine, cutting table and ironing is indispensable and appreciated. No one does tutorials better than you Donna. Thank you for being my number one teacher. You take the fear out of quilting. Hello from Wisconsin.

Good Morning Donna 🌻This was a fun tutorial to watch of a quilt pattern that was new to me. I doubt you will see my comment as I see this video was posted three years ago. Nevertheless, I just wanted to go on record to express my sincere appreciation of your talent, generosity and excellence in the fine art and craft of quilt making. I just love the soft fabrics prints and colors you chose to make this quilt with. I also love how you finished the quilt with beautiful borders, backing and a matching binding. At first, I was iffy about the longarm quilting pattern chosen but in the end I was delighted with the outcome. Such an absolutely lovely quilt. I think it would be wonderful if some Interior Designers of Show Homes would use your quilts on the beds in the bedrooms and on sofas in family rooms and living rooms. I also think that a label could be pinned to your quilts with your company name and contact information for interested quilt buyers. Show Homes are usually not sold in Canada, until the builders have sold all of the lots in the new community development. This would mean that your quilts would be seen by so many people who visit the Show Homes: and, thus, these beautiful quilts would find their forever homes around your country and mine. A beautiful dream I think...making so many people happy to retire to their beautiful beds at night and motivated to make their beds in the morning just to be able to have their quilt on display. I think I will start with my own room and go from there. I'm sending you and the Jordan Fabrics family many thanks and best wishes for a rewarding, healthy, and enjoyable week at work and home. Sincerely, Anita

I’m so envious of anyone living near Donna’s store. I lived in North Jersey and had to travel to Pa to any good quilt shops. I recently moved to SC and looking forward to scouting new shops. Since my husband and I retired, we are planning to do some traveling. Donna’s shop will definitely be a stop.

Your quilts and color choices are always so much prettier than the ones on the pattern. I hope the pattern designers appreciate your interpretations. Not to be snippy, and I do love Daniela, but I wouldn't have looked twice at that pattern. Very 1970's calico. With those gorgeous Riley Blake prints, all of a sudden it's worth a double-take and a "Oooooo." Now it's a quilt that the great-grandchildren will fight over one day I get inspired every time I watch your videos. Hope all is well in Oregon with you and yours.
