I am retired and living in West Texas. I moved here a year ago and literally do not know a single lady who quilts. I am a cancer patient and have to avoid going out as much as possible so I really look forward to your videos. You are a great teacher and inspire me to keep on going on. Thank you so much for your expertise and your instructional videos. They mean so much to me

Judy, many prayers to you and your recovery! Quilting is sooo much fun, but it is also GREAT therapy for the mind and soul. Keep stitching, Girl! It helped me immensely 24 years ago when I experienced a broken neck and spinal cord injury and my husband died. Yep! Quilting got me through. And, I made a lot of new friends (I joined a Quilting Guild); it opened doors I never knew existed. I'm now preparing to write my first quilt book. Who knew!!! Many blessings & Godspeed to you. Lindsay, Sacramento, CA (an artist turned quilter) ❤

P.S. if you want too, there are many online quilt guilds you can join. And, there are may fabulous Guilds in Texas! Texas is full of many talented Quilters. The great thing about Guilds, you can be a beginner quilter, or advanced; and quilters are lovely people that love to share their knowledge.

Thank you for taking the time to make the entire construction of the quilt so comprehensible. It was only lately that I just came to the realization that I am learning the importance of being precise in each step and doing the work in an orderly manner so that each stage of the process advances as expected. I’m generally not much drawn to scrappy quilts but this one takes my breath away. It is, indeed, a happy quilt. I think the block size is a real design element here. Smaller blocks wouldn’t have the same impact.
