It's worth it to get the pattern just so I don't have to use the brainpower and save that for my own creations. That's what I appreciate about patterns- they are harder than you think to cover all the details and they are tried out several times. My friend works for CG and we regularly get to do mysteries that are packaged for sale later. There's so much testing! Just buy the pattern, designers work hard.
This is such a lovely pattern. Just wish that the designers would do more than square quilts. I and many others hate and have no use for square quilts. Donna I love your videos and learned so much from watching you. The best to all at Jordan Fabrics.
I knew I loved the sound of you cutting the fabric, but I'd never watched your videos with headphones on. Amps the enjoyment of your videos by 100x. I love these videos, they are so calming and informative and pleasant.
I usually play a game where I try to guess which thread Donna is gonna choose before she sais it, and I don't often get it wrong 😁 am I the only one to play this game? Beautiful quilt, as always 😊😊😊
I play that game also I usually can tell what she is going to pic funny tho first time seeing this video and last week I purchased that layer cake now I know what to do with it
Hi Donna, I love your quilts. I have turned an old shipping container into my sewing room.! It works well. I live in Botswana, Africa. Most of the quilting I see here showcases wildlife etc, mostly because of the types of fabric available. I salivate when seeing all your amazing choices of fabrics. I find your lovely American Quilts so refreshing. I am presently working on the Dear Jane quilt following along with Pooles pieces. I hope one day to win one of your fabulous quilts. Perhaps once the world starts again I may have an opportunity to visit your shop….I’m keeping my fingers X’d.
Ms.Donna, I'm making rose crossings for my best and dearest friend for Christmas. The only change is ill be using very light grey instead of white fabric. I believe she will love it! I love how easy you make quilting by the way you teach and explain all the steps. BTW, this is only my 7th quilt in my 2.5 years of quilting (sewing for 50years) so wish me luck! DD😊
Donna is a GREAT teacher and designer. She explains both printed patterns and her own free patterns so well. LOVE the sound of her rotary blade when she's cutting fabric. Look forward to each and every video she produces ... PLUS ... the quality of the video is excellent. Kudos to her son for doing that part!!
One thing that I truly appreciate in your instruction, Donna, is your attention to accuracy and neatness. When I was learning how to sew back in junior high school, my instructor emphasized that pressing and accuracy were critical to producing a garment (or in this case, a quilt) that fit together property and that didn't look homemade. That has carried with me ever since, and that you employ this as a regular part of your quilting really shows in the finished product. Thank you for your clear, concise instructions and for the extras that you include, like changing the blade on the rotary cutter or choosing thread color for the quilting. Looking forward to your next video!
____Give away____- i love your quilt with leaves! - thank you for your tutorial and i love the pattern and fabrics that showed us with Roses long arm Quilting- what a beautiful Quilt! Yes Yes Yes! Love your tutorials and i'm doing the plastic place to put the old used blades- Donna, you do a great tutorial all the time!💕
THANK YOU! I bought this pattern from you just a bit ago and was very concerned when i read it. I made a copy of the instructions and was color coding each cut required so i did not get confused (too late). I was REALLY hoping that you had a video with it and now you do!!!! Now when i go back and read it, it will make sense. I am learning that i am a visual learner where quilting is concerned. I really appreciate all you do for the quilting community! Be safe…
I always jump to see your video as soon as it appears. I so love what you do, and I always learn something. The process is so much fun, and your color choices are always wonderful - but what I love most about them is your color choices inspire me, they don't at all limit me. Sometimes when you see a quilt pattern done one way, I feel that is how it should be - but your presentations always give me the freedom to try a different way if I want. That is such a gift!
This pattern/fabric squares would have been beautiful with a dusty pink or grey background! I find that white gets me going...."What other color could I use?"
Donna, I just love this quilt and the flower fabrics you used. You are such an amazing person at showing us how easy this patterns are to make. Thank you for all you do.
I really admire your technique for pressing the blocks, and it’s made a difference in how flat my blocks lie. Another gorgeous quilt video! Thanks, Donna! ❤️
Donna, last Valentine's you made a comment about only getting to use "heart" quilts for a day or two around Valentine's Day. This one would make a nice February quilt. Especially, if you quilted it with a heart motif. 💖🌞🌵😷
Never been the first person to watch a quilt tutorial! Love the new Riley Blake fabric line. I’m a huge fan of florals. Can’t wait to see ur finished quilt Donna, already know it’s going to be beautiful with those floral prints. The quilt turned out so beautiful, love it. I was hoping you’d choose the pink quilting thread, but I see why you chose the silver, it blended with all the colors very nicely. Another gorgeous quilt!!
Donna I look forward to the Jordan Fabric emails in the morning hoping you have some tutorials embedded in there. This morning I’m watching Rose Garden and I must say you are an amazing instructor. You are easy to follow, there are pictures if you don’t understand and you keep showing step by step right through to to the long arm and finished product. I have learned so much from you and I have told severif my friends. Thanks for sharing your talent
I don't throw away my used blades. I mark them as "used" on the plastic container, but they are still great for crafting! They are way too expensive to just throw away. 😊
Hi! I use to throw my dull blades away too but a family member convinced me that most knife-like blades can be re-sharpened using a sharpening stone. I bought one years ago and the technique works well for me and my budget too. Before I remove the blade from the rotary cutter handle, I use a marker to draw an arrow counter clockwise on the blade (in a circular motion) to indicate the direction the blade turns as it cuts. The family member said this was important because if I sharpen the blade in the wrong direction, it may become more dull. (CAUTION: I wear a thick carpenter's glove when I sharpen such blades). I haven't tried this using the sharpener on the back of a can opener yet, it may be worth a try. Either way I agree, they can still be reused. Good speaking with you!!
What a delicate looking quilt. You definitely chose the right colour scheme for that quilt. The subtly of the quilting lifts it just perfectly. Thank you once again for a great tutorial.
I use Famore blades. These are titanium and are from a guy in Gainesville GA. They are great and I find that they last a long time. Also, you can send the used blades back and he will sharpen them and return them to you. His cutter has ball bearings in them which is possibly what makes them cut so smoothly and last so long ! Just an opinion!
Stunning fabric choices.I was wondering what to do with my florals without chopping it up to much and that is perfect. Again thank you for making it look so easy
What a beautiful quilt this is! I had planned to go to bed, but then saw this video and decided to stay up a bit longer. I'm so glad I did. I have to add this one to my ever growing list of quilts I need to make.
Se eu tivesse uma loja igual à essa, eu ia costurar o dia inteiro ... Congratulations... I always follow your vídeos and your work is amazing .... If i had a store like yours I would spent all my time on sewing machine ... I love your work ...
80 x 80 - if you chose to add 5" borders on all sides...presto! 90 x 90 Queen size! Also think this might look great scrappy with leftover jellyroll strips and a consistent color on the rose crosses
She was using the Olfa Endurance Blade. They are GREAT blades and they do last a lot longer than a regular blade, but with all the cutting she does, I can't believe they last as long as she said. That's wild...I inevitably nick mine somewhere along the line on the corner of a ruler. They're not cheap and they only come in a single pack, but you can get them for a much more reasonable price on Amazon.
Beautiful fabric line and it is perfect for this quilt. Another out of the park home run, Donna! Just gorgeous! I am always excited to see the “end of a giveaway”! Yes, I’m excited for the winner of one of your beautifully made quilts, who, by the way, is never ME! But I’m more excited because I know that another video will be coming shortly and I can’t wait to see what you have created this time! Isn’t it amazing what delights us sometimes! LOL! This one is on my list. I wonder what it would be like in blacks and grays with some bright color(s) for the + in the middle???? Thinking…..
Thanks Donna....loved seeing the serene beautiful Rose Crossings quilt made. Also, the hint of Fall is nice as we dream of cool crisp weather when it is so hot!
What a pretty quilt. Love the pattern and the fabrics. And of course, who doesn't love roses! Does it have instructions for a king sized quilt? That is what I would need. Another winner and looks sew easy.
what a gorgeous quilt, im not usually a fan of white backgrounds, but this really is stunning, thankyou everyone at Jordan Fabrics, for all the work you put into making these videos for us
Does anyone else think the sound of her cutting the fabric in the beginning is sooo satisfying? Lol
Who else loves the cutting sounds? Just me??
I love the sound of slicing fabric, it's quite satisfying and reminds me of eating carrots haha
ASMR!
It's worth it to get the pattern just so I don't have to use the brainpower and save that for my own creations. Beautiful quilt, as always 😊😊😊
I play that game as well but I only get it right about ½ the time.
I play that game also I usually can tell what she is going to pic funny tho first time seeing this video and last week I purchased that layer cake now I know what to do with it
Most Saturdays when I’m off, I binge watch your videos. I love your quilting, fabrics, videos and the way you teach. Beautiful quilt as always!

Hi Donna everything you make is Beautiful thank you for showing us how to make it Rose E M
I miss seeing your beautiful quilts hanging up. The patterns show so much better when you can see the whole quilt. Another nice job done.
Even my hubby loved this quilt. He ordered the fabric for me! Thank you! Can't wait to get started!
My husband needs to take lessons from your husband! 😊 From, Sacramento, California.
So blessed to find this channel.
I love the swish sound the cutter makes when you cut fabric. It is the beginning of another new quilt!
I know, right!?! It's a happy sound, as it is the beginning of another gorgeous Quilt. From, Sacramento, California ❤

Beautiful quilt!
The rose quilt is so beautiful. I love it so. I want so much to learn to quilt.
Very beautiful, I like quilts with white or cream backgrounds.
that would look lovely in any colour.
Wonderful again
Very pretty quilt. I love the fabric you chose. :)
OH BOY!!! Another video!!! Can you tell I get excited?? 🤣😂🤣
These fabrics are perfect for this quilt pattern!!
This pattern/fabric squares would have been beautiful with a dusty pink or grey background! I find that white gets me going...."What other color could I use?"
"Rose Crossing" is indeed a beautiful quilt. I wonder, though, what a border of the accent fabric would do to make this work of art even more special.
Oooo, yes!
Donna, I just love this quilt and the flower fabrics you used. You are such an amazing person at showing us how easy this patterns are to make. Thank you for all you do.
Another great quilt and brilliant demonstration
Very nice quilt, love the fabric choice
Great choice of fabrics for this quilt.

Usually not a fan of big florals, but this quilt was gorgeous! Love the Hint Of Fall quilt! Need to go back and watch that tutorial again! 🤩
I would love to see a tutorial on an Attic Windows quilt. You explain everything very simply, I am a great follower from Australia.
This is absolutely stunning!!
What a beautiful quilt!

I was thinking the very same. Yes, the silver gray thread was a good choice; subtle, yet gorgeous! I've got to make this quilt. ☺
💘 the quilt and the colors

I agree with everyone else, it is a gorgeous quilt. Material is so bright, colorful and floral. And you are such a great teacher, thank you
Não entendo o que você fala mas digo que es a melhor exploradora que conheci obrigado
I bought the pattern, it seems to be a great quilt in every colour combination.
I love the beautiful quilts you make I hope I can win one of them .thank you and Matt.
That‘s the prettiest fabric collection I’ve ever seen. The colour range is right up my alley.
I've never been this early to a video! Thanks for your great work Jordan family!
I would like some quilts out of yardage as that is what I have most of . Easy when one only has to open a package of fabric. Loved the quilt
What a delicate looking quilt. You definitely chose the right colour scheme for that quilt. The subtly of the quilting lifts it just perfectly. Thank you once again for a great tutorial.
Ok so I want to know what magic blades you use that they would ever last several months. LOL I switch out every few weeks at least.

You are exceptionally talented! I watch you daily and have gained so much valuable information. Thank you so much!
Bravo Donna. What a wonderful project. I like your choice of Fabric
Beautiful quilt. The gorgeous fabrics really make it. Thanks again Donna. Xx🇦🇺 The silver really adds to fabrics😊
What a beautiful quilt this is! I had planned to go to bed, but then saw this video and decided to stay up a bit longer. I'm so glad I did. I have to add this one to my ever growing list of quilts I need to make.
All of your videos are so inspiring, but this rose crossing pattern is too beautiful. I love flowers and the Riley Blake fabric is divine.
Se eu tivesse uma loja igual à essa, eu ia costurar o dia inteiro ... Congratulations... I always follow your vídeos and your work is amazing .... If i had a store like yours I would spent all my time on sewing machine ... I love your work ...
Received my pattern today. 😊
80 x 80 - if you chose to add 5" borders on all sides...presto! 90 x 90 Queen size!
Also think this might look great scrappy with leftover jellyroll strips and a consistent color on the rose crosses
Great ideas, Rebecca!
That was my first thought, only I'd add 2 or 3 borders. After shrinking, it would still cover my queen bed with the thick mattress.
This is a very pretty quilt! Thank you.
I need this quilt in my life omg. So beyond beautiful!
Donna, I just love your hair! Nice pattern, too!
Donna, another beautiful quilt tutorial. Watching u put it together is the best part Here’s another one for my list 😊 thank you!
She was using the Olfa Endurance Blade. They are GREAT blades and they do last a lot longer than a regular blade, but with all the cutting she does, I can't believe they last as long as she said. Donna, you're the GOAT of the quilting world! This turned out so pretty, and I can't get enough of that floral print- just beautiful!
This is so pretty. I almost forgot you can make a quilt without borders. Thank you for another great tutorial
Very pretty , love the Flora print
I really love your videos. They are not only informative but, helps me want to step out of my comfort level.

What a pretty quilt. Love the pattern and the fabrics. And of course, who doesn't love roses! Does it have instructions for a king sized quilt? That is what I would need. Another winner and looks sew easy.
Beautiful quilt. Must admit the fabric was not my favorite and then you do this magic, and it is just stunning!
Nice choice of the light background. It gives it the old fashioned ♥️
Thanks for sharing your tips . I especially appreciate your pressing techniques.
I love the deep dark colors best. This is beautiful!
