I am in love with this pattern, I’m thinking black background with bright colors, it would look like stained glass. Thanks for the great tutorial. Can’t wait to make this one!😊
I just did, too!!! I can even near see all kinds of different fabrics and colors with this one - I’ve said this also to the last several patterns because they all use those lovely layer cakes that come in so many different styles and colors! MSQC is my absolute favorite place to shop!
Gorgeous quilt! I’ve been hoarding a Kate Spain ‘Paradiso’ layer cake for years, and think this is the perfect pattern to get hold of to use it! I’m going to make mine 8X8 blocks so my quilt is 84”x84” when finished. Love 💙💙💙🥰
I think it’s really interesting how piecing quilts has changed over the last decade to become so fun! Precuts have really been a game changer along with all the different rulers to make quilting a much more dynamic hobby
Love your tutorials, Misty. After unplugging for a month while on vacation... its great to come back to enjoy a tutorial from MSQC. Thank you for sharing this pattern with all of us. Take care and blessings to y'all.
You and Natalie are mini Jenny’s… I mean that in a good way! Your explanations are so easy to understand and make me want to start a new quilt while completing the one I’m working on! Watching your videos is addictive… again in a good way! Never ever stop, I plan on watching until I’m 100, or the Lord calls me home.❤ thank you so much.
]'; Misty, this incredible pattern looks like something only a master quilter can accomplish-but uou make it look so doable! thank You for doing this terrific tutorial! Definately putting this one on my "To do" list.!
Благодарю Вас, Мисти! Блок, который Вы показали, эффектный, но не сложный! Мне он очень понравился, я обязательно буду его применять! Из России с любовью❤
The two “colors” used in the demo. were much easier to “see” the block than what was used in the quilt on the wall. I appreciate hints you give about your experience making the pattern. I really wish we had been shown the other options printed out.
Well done Misty. It is good to watch a clear demo without the distraction of a cluttered workspace. Superb pattern too for a layer cake with so many looks created. I hope their is a pdf version for us ov erases to be able to buy,
The rotating mat really helps on patterns like this. I resisted getting one for a long time, felt like it was hard to justify the cost of another mat. Finally broke down & got one a couple years ago. Now I wonder what took me so long. It has saved a lot of “fussing and cussing.”
Do not like the Bernina. It takes a lot longer to sew. Can't sew around corners like the Babylock. Needle has to go up and down and cut thread. Plus it is noisy.
Misty is using a Bernette, not a Bernina. That's like comparing Ford to a Lincoln. They're connected, but quality and available features aren't quite the same. What sewing machine out there can't sew around corners?
Yes! The pattern, by Material Girlfriends, uses a simple block to create a 42” x 56" or 53” x 67” quilt, with additional size options when adding borders. Check it out here: www.missouriquiltco.com/products/stellar-magic-quilt-pattern/?variant=40612347281443
It’s a very pretty quilt. 🌷 It was unclear to me where she was measuring from when referring to the 3”; 3 1/8”; vs 3 1/4” measurements. I watched the video twice, and still couldn’t understand. 😬
That's a beautiful pattern. Great tutorial. Thanks Misty.
Absolutely beautiful! Thank you MSQC, Misty, & ALL🫶🫶🫶

Really love that❤
Love it!
Great pattern. Kinda messes with my brain on the possibilities in arrangement of the blocks!
This is sew interesting!
amazing
❤❤❤
Do not like the Bernina. It takes a lot longer to sew. Can't sew around corners like the Babylock. Needle has to go up and down and cut thread. Plus it is noisy.
Yes, I still have the original Babylock Quilter Pro. I adopted it 4 years ago and it’s still going strong.

Thank you 😊 i would love to match the curtain to pull the room together ...
Can you use this pattern and make it big enough for a bed?
Yes! The pattern, by Material Girlfriends, uses a simple block to create a 42” x 56" or 53” x 67” quilt, with additional size options when adding borders. Check it out here: www.missouriquiltco.com/products/stellar-magic-quilt-pattern/?variant=40612347281443
Are there any seem that need to nest? Great Video!
Looks like no nesting seams, you just have to be careful not to stretch anything because you’re working with a lot of bias.
Would this pattern work in just two colors?
I think it would be stunning in just two colors.
Yes, it would look beautiful in two colors.
I love this pattern but wish it was digital.
They have a digital download version on Etsy for this pattern
@@lyndaericcson2228 Thank you! I searched and couldn't find a digital version.
@
Missouri star does not have the digital version on their website. But it is on Etsy.
