I agree with you, Kristina as far as that big center being so busy you’re not really gonna see anything. I would do the long spine coming from the center out and do feathers. I love the look.
This is off topic but before I make a mistake I have some Handi quilter ruler also some Westalee rulers that I used on my domestic and wondered if I can use the Westalee on my Sweet Sixteen Thank you I enjoy all your videos from Ontario Canada.
Because of the large amount of quilting outside of the star area, it would be a shame to not put something like a very large feather as you showed in the drawing ideas. It will be a challenge to quilt on the very busy star fabrics. If there is a throat space issue to quilt the star, it would be challenging to quilt half of a feather...advance...and quilt the other half. You could do it!
One of the best videos I've seen explaining how to plan the quilting, very well done. Thank you.
Wow, thank you!
Bravos ❤
Finally, a feather I may be able to do. Thank you.
I enjoyed this episode. I don’t have a computer so I liked seeing the free hand style. It gave me some ideas.
Will love to see the Lonestar ideas. Great video this time (as always). Appreciate you!
I love watching you both. Great videos every week, thank you.
Nice! I wish y’all would consider doing quilting on sit down machine…. Please!!!
pretty border!
I really love that feather I’ve never seen it before it’s beautiful and you’re right it is kind of fun looking ❣️🪡✂️🧵

Wow, super forgiving
I love this feather and do one very similar in borders.❤
Feathers in the star! The texture will be the design item, since the stitches will blend away.

As long as they are 1/4" thick, you can use them!!
@@HandiQuilter Thank you.
What kind of foot are you using?
It is the Microfoot. I really enjoy using it anytime I need/want more visibility.
Would be beautiful on a Hawaiian quilt too

Did you consider making the corner look like it was overlayed on the partial one and making it look like the one went under the corner oval?
Great idea!
