Came out great bud 🙌 and that’s an awesome frog species. I used to have them years ago before they became so popular now im like I wish I still had them.
love the videos man been watching reptile RUclipsrs for years since I was a kid your definitely the best one I have came across of keep up the good work we definitely need a reptile collection soon
Awesome! These guys in my opinion are one of the coolest tree frogs. Just gorgeous creatures. Suggestion for ghostwood and I'm sure any wood/ decoration I got my ghostwood from blooms and branches. They had great pricing it took me forever to find them so I try to tell everyone about them. We could all save some money with our babies. A suggestion for cork bark is pangea. They had amazing prices on flats and tubes and shipping was super cheap. Both places had great quality products. For blooms and branches ( I'm sure you could for pangea as well) you can spec if your looking for spindly pieces or thicker pieces is what I got for my BP for obvious reasons lol. Anywho have a great day
Yeah Amazon milk frogs are hands down my favorite tree frogs! I personally get all my wood supplies from reptile expos. Cheapest and I get to hand pick it!
I’m looking to get into frogs . I just got a 18x18x24 exo terra I’m building this weekend and plan of letting the bioactive creatures take hold over about 6-8 weeks . Do you think dart frogs or tree frogs are better to start with ? I’m torn on what I want to start with . Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated . Also thanks for getting back to me on my dry lock question earlier today . I will definitely be building a custom enclosure this year
You’re welcome man! Hmmmm….. it honestly depends on what you want. In my opinion frogs are really just display pets. But tree frogs are hadleable but dart frogs aren’t. Dart frogs are diurnal and super active. While tree frogs are more nocturnal and a little more fragile in my opinion. Dart frogs bioactive build have a lot more potential in fun vivarium build options in my opinion. With your build you don’t have to do anything fancy like me. I just like going all out!
@@mightymorphingreptiles I’m all about diy I’m taking my time on the build so I can get something amazing . I think I’m leaning towards dart frogs after your response. Maybe I’ll put up a video. It’s been a while since I’ve made one but my RUclips was more about fish keeping. I guess I can change it up a bit lol
In my opinion the dart frog hobby is the equivalent of the aquarium hobby but terrestrial. I like fish too as I have discus fish and a koi pond in my backyard. I actually plan on eventually doing AquaScapes with fish on this channel but very mildly so I don’t abrupt my followers interests!
@@mightymorphingreptiles that’s awesome. I’ve kept discus as well as reef tanks . I definitely have a good understanding of water quality at this point . I did want to pick your brain on making sure plants are safe for dart frogs because I’m finding info on fertilizers being extremely bad for dart frogs . How do you keep the plants alive if they are not getting any fertilizer?
@@MichaelEugenio when plant for your bio active builds typically you wash the fertilized soil off your plant roots, or you buy plants that are already grown in organic potting soil. For frogs in bioactive builds the isopods help break down the poop and that then fertilizes the plants naturally.
Nice hickey at 6:30 lmao
