✔ Check the links in the description for my frog product recommendations. 🐸 I hope you enjoyed the cute frog footage! I spent an entire day and a half hanging out with my frogs to catch them being cute and moving around the enclosure. It's usually hard to catch them on the move; they're very stealthy.
Could you do a video on the most ethical fancy goldfish to buy? I’ve never had gold fish but if I were to buy some I wonder what would be the most ethical to buy after watching your last video on goldfish ethics. 🤔 you make great videos! Thank you! :)
I’ve always loved and admired animals but “feared” them. Now that I’m an adult I’m a wanting to conquer my fears and care for all sorts of animals because I think they’re so amazing. This is partially due to your videos so thank you!
I’ve had almost every pet you can imagine! Ferrets rabbits geckos lizards frogs guinea pigs rodents arachnids snakes dogs cats horses…. If you have any questions LMK!
Jenny....I happy for you. Glad you are settled in and doing well with your video's. Everyone deserves to be happy. I'm glad your in a better place. Take care and keep the videos coming.
My first reptile was a bearded dragon and thinks that is a perfect starting reptile! They are so gentle and chill you can’t help but love them and are super easy to take care of compared to other reptiles
My dad had 2 bearded dragons when i was little, they started my love for reptile. They were amazing and great with me and my little brother. Tom and Jerry haha, since then i’ve gotten many more reptiles and I love all of them. I’ve been researching whites tree frogs for about a year and a half now and am hoping to get a few in the not so distant future :).
I’ve wanted a frog for awhile but never knew the basics of creating the enclosure or what I need to keep away from them, this is REALLY helpful, they seem calm and adorable
Jennifer, normally I would not really be interested when someone gives me facts about frogs, however, for some reason, I am found it very interesting. Well presented. I am guessing I enjoyed it because you obviously enjoy keeping them.
I’m planning my tree frog (probably white tree frog) enclosure at the moment and this tutorial was the most helpful thing I’ve found so far. Thank you so much! And also you did an incredible job with that enclosure-I am going to try and model mine after that.
This was so helpful! I am hoping to (soon enough) get a white's tree frog and I'm just starting out with research now, its definitely given me the basics, so thank you!!!
@@jovanymartinez3903 while the tree frogs themselves aren't very expensive, it will cost several hundred dollars to buy the correct setup for them (tank, substrate, heater, lights, etc). Like all pets, they are definitely an investment. Since they're exotic, if you need to take them to a vet that will also be more expensive, if you even have an exotic animal vet near you
Hey Jenny, I miss your videos.. I know you don’t really like the fancy goldfish anymore but I have a lion oranda and I’m upgrading him/her soon to a 29 gal. I have been following your channel for forever and your videos really helped educating me on goldfish!
Thank you sooo much!!!,,,,i just bought 2 whites frogs..i am new to these guys..clueless on there care, pet store wasnt very knowlegable., glad i found your video,,very good job on explaining how to care for them..love your setup... your absolutely beautiful !!.i could listen to you talk forever..Hopefully you have a bearded dragon care video also..i jumped right into the reptiles buying them week apart..glad i did..i am enjoying setting up there little worlds...thanks again
hi I would also like to add to everyone asking more in the comments, you're technically not supposed to hold any type of frog without powderless rubber gloves preferably also washed with using purified water. the salt and oil on top of your skin irritates their skin and it's most likely uncomfortable for them. it won't in most cases cause any extensive harm (most harmful is the bacteria which is explained on later in this text) , but it is good to remember they are sensitive since they're captive bred. also about UVB it is always good to have lighting that stimulates natural sunlight since it ensures you're definitely not depriving them their natural needs even if they aren't studied enough yet. this video also cruises right past bacterial problems that might come from incorrectly quarantining every living thing in the terrarium this includes plants, a bacterial infection is in most cases fatal to them if not treated as an urgent matter. preferably you should never wait more than 3 days to find any type of disinfectant like diluted medical grade iodine solutions or proper medicine like antibiotics. it should always be a given to find out that there is an accessible exotic vet in your area that can take in your pet at any emergency. you can also request a medicine from a normal vet clinic if you know what you're asking for and if they can verify that you are correct in your diagnosis. these are in my mind really important for new frog keepers who might not know even where to search for a solution to their problems. if you're interested in the bacterial infections and how to spot them I can elaborate in the replies of this comment. happy frog keeping everyone!
Perfect timing!!! I just got a snowflake whites tree frog baby 🐸. I set up his awesome enclosure with cork, vines, branches, plants... He has it all! Love that little bugger.
I so love your tree frogs, they are so cute and adorable. The way they cross their hands so damn cute. That was so funny when Lentil tried to eat your finger. 🤣
My fovourite biginer raptile is lepord geco thays one of mine dreem pet I love lepord geco I want to get one but where i live lepord geco are super rare to be seen in a pet shop The video was nice Glad of you
This is amazingly helpful. Currently shopping around to make a bio active vivarium. I've been really getting into doing terrariums as an art form and this simplifies the next big step in my journey. Instant subscription, thank you!
Thank you for making this video. I'm a florist, and we recently got a shipment of plants in. A little tree frog, looks like a white one, it's very small, hitched a ride in the plants. I felt sorry for it and I currently have it hibernating in a small container with water, soil, and moss. I'm going to take it home soon, but I'd like to get a decent terrarium for it. I'm not 100% sure if I'll keep it, but if it's in good shape by the spring or summer, I was thinking of releasing it outside. I just figured I'd give it a fighting chance. It's so cute, almost as big as a quarter, and I felt sorry for it.
I would really love to see you talk more in depth of what Palmer eats 😃 I’ve got a fur baby myself and I always worry about his future health, so I want to learn what would be good for him! You taught me about goldfish (I have 3 black moors and 1 telescope goldfish) and I trust any knowledge you have to give ❤️ It makes me happy to see your resilience, huge admiration for you!
I love the way you set up your enclosures, I spotted that rubber plant and was like WHAAAAT? It’s gonna get HUGE! 😂 and then you addressed it! Smart! Pothos seems to be a go-to for anyone’s enclosure, and it’s such an easy plant to upkeep! Also that knotty viney wood looks great amidst the plants!
Thanks so much! I saw a beautiful White’s tree frog when i was getting food for my bearded dragon and since i have an enclosure that my beardie outgrew i am looking at getting one! This was super helpful
I completely agree about the bare minimum thing, I always look at enclosures and feel like they’re too small. Even for the recommended size as long as it doesnt do harm to the animal, I’d go bigger than the bare minimum.
Really appreciate how the health, happiness and enrichment of the frogs are the driving force behind your enclosure decisions. There are too many creators on here doing gimmicky and unsustainable enclosures that are all about looks and don't properly address the needs and longevity of the animals. Thanks for putting them first.
This is perfect I'm actually getting a white tree frog I have a lot of research on it and it's going to take like $300 for everything for it but it's good that I have this so I can use the notes I took and this video
Thank you! i'm currently looking for a whites tree frog for my daughter and his really helped us look at the right type of tank to get for her new froggie friend!
THANKKKKK YOUUUUUUUUU!!! I really needed some advise with whites tree frogs, because I have two of them, and they get along pretty well! Anywhere my female frog goes, my male one goes with her too!

The tree frogs are so cute

white tree frogs skin is much less absorbent than your average frog's skin; they are pretty much safe to hold after a simple wash

Honestly, it is best to keep it as a pet. It is considered an invasive species so unfortunately shouldn't be released in it's non-native environment
My favorite beginner reptile is the bearded dragon :)
I love ducky!
Thanks! I got a few more things that is gonna make keeping up with the tank easier!
