I’ve been debating on frog species, and have decided to pick based on the individual temperature/humidity requirements when compared to how the tank winds up sitting when it’s fully cycled and plants have grown in. Do you feed the shrimp and clean its poop, or does it just survive off algae (and plants take the poop for the nitrogen cycle?) 3. What maintenance do the plants need? Do you just mist them everyday?
Isopods and springtails can help break down organic matter, including poop, within a closed ecosystem. Shrimp in a closed ecosystem primarily feed on algae and detritus, which includes organic matter like decaying plant material and microorganisms. Mist the plants as needed to maintain humidity. The frequency will depend on the specific plants and the moisture levels in the closed ecosystem. Be careful not to overwater, as this can lead to mold or other issues.
Your videos are amazing. I am planning to start my own soon, but i have a question. With the expanding foam, what happens if you need to do maintenance on the filter or pump? Would you just have to remove the inhabitants, drain the water, and essentially rip the background off to do it? Could you put the background back in if you seal the edges?

I think that would depend on where you live and also the tank size, I have mine in a 70g and live in an extremely dry climate and struggle to keep the humidity at 50-60%, im currently working on a project like this so I can keep you updated on my humidity if you’d like once I finish it

Some terraiums don't need to clean if has dirt and the cleanup crew. Usually just spot cleaning poop.

I usually leave maintenance holes and make sure the expanding foam doesn't cover the filter or pump, so maintenance won't be an issue!

What kinds of glues did you use? Like the black one and the small bottle you used?
The black one is the silicone, and the small bottle contains the instant glue, both of which work great for securing things in place!
