Started a vivarium that is destined to hold 4-6 RETFs in a few months. This video and the JF team have been a great help so far. THanks for sharing the passion!
Both Red Eyes and Dart Frogs are so beautiful. Good chance I go with one or the other down the road. Either one I go with though, I want to do a group of them in a decent to large enclosure.
@@JoshsFrogs I haven’t owned a pet in awhile and I wanted to get some frogs again. I’m not sure if you can keep them as pets but, I just found out about the Vietnamese Mossy frog, has to be one of the coolest frogs I’ve ever seen.
Damn I wish I knew about those insects when I had frogs and toads. My fire belly tank wasn't bad since It was mostly water. My pac man frog though, his tank would mold and I was always cleaning it.
Don't sanseiveria (and dracena?) prefer more arid conditions? Wouldn't something tropical with big leaves like pothos/philodendron, etc, be more appropriate for an environment that needs high humidity levels? I'd expect the plants you're using to rot in a tropical bioactive environment.
From what I heard the dumpy frog is the easiest tree frog to keep for beginners but red eye tree frogs are a little harder because of humidity but great vid 👍
I plan too build a paludarium with some nano fish in the water but going utilise the egg crate to separate the compost from the water. With using a filter will this water be okay for them to use r will I need to source clean water source for them?
Hello! 🐸Our Amphibian Curator let me know that we do attempt to breed them very often. Make sure that you sign up for a restock notification on our website!
I’m planning on getting a red eyed tree frog and a albino red eye so I have a quick question can you choose what gender you want the frog because I don’t want them to breed?
Hello from 🇬🇧. 1st time viewer & subscriber. I'm researching Frogs as I have an aquarium I want to house them in, I don't want large Frogs, I was thinking 'Dart Frog' size, maybe 2 or 3 times bigger maximum (as they are very small, nothing hand sized) BUT Ideally I'd have 2 different types of Frog OR Toad. Is this possible? If so can you recommend some? I've seen that the following can be house but for me they are still a little larger than I'd like. American Green Tree Frogs Barking Tree Frogs Grey Tree Frogs Red Eyed Tree Frogs White Lipped Tree Frog (that's a lot of TREE frogs), do you agree with that selections? To give you an idea they are STILL BIGGER than I'd Ideally like. Thank you for any help/advice you may give.
Look into some of the smaller glass frogs. They're really cool. Why not dart frogs? They are some of the most interesting animals I have ever kept. I currently keep 6 frog species and 3 of them are dart frogs. I will be getting a few more species in the future as well.
Are some of them endangered? I think it would be good to breed them so they don’t go extinct don’t you think maybe not I don’t know let me know what you think
I love these frogs so much. Live seeing and photographing them out in the wild. I understand why people want to keep them in captivity, because they are so cool, but not me. I would rather see and appreciate them in the wild, their natural habitat. Just saying.
Gorgeous tank for some outrageously cute amphibians. Thank you for sharing the info to keep these frogs happy and healthy.
Love you guys! I took home two dart frogs from the November show in Arizona. They have grown considerably and seem happy as a clam.

Just ordered my first terrarium and supplies from you guys this week! Super excited to get set up! I'm hoping to see you guys in Schaumburg in July
Great video
I literally just bought 2 yesterday!
We bought two a year after you
@@tatianastewart21We bought none a year after you. 🤷♂️
Can you do a video over the clown tree frog?
I’ve never seen red eyes available on your site.
We have Panamanian Red-Eyed Tree Frogs available now! www.joshsfrogs.com/red-eyed-tree-frog-agalychnis-callidryas-panamanian-captive-bred-cbp.html

They are, but they always seem to be sold out because they are so popular.
They are a lot I bought 8 from them and they are sometimes hard to breed so occasionally may be hard
great video!
I needed to know what strength of UV bulbs to use for tree frogs.
Wish I could post a pic of my set up
Would you recommend I have an automatic misting system using distilled (I think that’s the word) water?

Does the frog eat the isopods, too?

Will the isopods be able to escape?
Is 12x16x18 good for tree frogs or dart frogs?

Do you ship to UK?
No, unfortunately, we are only able to ship live animals within the United States.
Can you cohab them?

Thanks, doesn’t take much to better then you are
Good for you
Learn the plants before... the animals will live and grow until it all falls apart...sencervaria don't like humidity 😒
Your intro aren't Arachnaphobia friendly lol
Very poorly made video..audio is terrible don't know if I trust the info from a channel that is so bad
How is it poorly made ?
I had no problem viewing it or hearing it.
Maybe it's just your electronic because I can hear this perfectly fine but idk 🤷
