    I own Whites Tree Frogs (Kent, UK) and never heard you could get cork panels! Would have REALLY helped with my build rather than spray foam. Whites need a less humid environment so had great fun finding plants that survive in that climate (English ivy, golden pothos, arrowhead etc). Amazing vid as always

    I’m so glad I found your channel… And I’ve been doing this stuff since… 2007 or ‘08? Since I was 19? Lol. 🤔 If only there were channels like yours back then, my earlier setups wouldn’t have been so… “simple”. 😛 But in time, we learn. And your videos are full of such useful information. Stuff that literally seems obvious when I realize what it actually is... like, “why didn’t I ever notice that?” Even basic things, like saving the cork background shavings? Genius! And the siphon method for draining water out? Also genius.. saves me drilling a hole, finding the right tubing, sealing it, worrying that it’s going to eventually leak, etc. So… seriously, thank you! 😂

I love that the way you put together the background was so simple and accessible. It's nice to feel like I could do something like this too! The plant selections were absolutely superb, including the later additions. Peperomias are some of my favorites. And using the spiderwood to make those roots down the walls and the back was an amazing touch!

    It looks amazing! What I miss in many terrariums like this is ferns and horsetails.
    I find them being the archetype plants in jungle and woodlands together with moss. And they add to that prehistoric vibe that a junglesetting gives me. Maybe they are difficult to grow in terrariums I don't know, I'm just an observer, viewer...
    Looking forward to the next video!

That in conjunction with the bromeliads, makes me think maybe a tiny bit more purple/red accents throughout the setup may be a nice touch. Maybe some tradescantia pallida in some of the low light background areas might be nice? Just throwing some thoughts out there. Thanks for the build!

    Beautiful job... Finished my first vivarium that I'm hoping to house dart frogs in a few months once it establishes. Looking to add a misting system and I like the idea of building my own rather than a premade one as well, so thank you for the links as to what you used.
    How long have you been building vivariums?

      Glad you enjoyed the video! Good luck with your build, dart frogs are awesome little creatures. I’ve been building them for about 3 years:)

    I love the video! One question though
    How do you keep the wood from molding

    • @TerrariumDesigns
      @TerrariumDesigns  Месяц назад

      The springtails keep on top of it. That being said there is commonly a ‘mold phase’ a couple weeks in. It’s completely normal & clears up on its own with the help of the springtails

    Hello,
    There's is too much stuff to comment, I don't know where to start. You did a great job on the scape, although I'm not a huge fan of such builds

    I imagine that anubias would do well in that setup

    I've enjoyed watching your videos and I'm about to start my first terrarium. What type of pump did you use for the misting system?

      It’s a 100gpd RO booster pump. Glad you enjoyed the video:)

    Hi! Using this as a guide for my first set up. What timed pump could I look at getting for the misters?

    • @TerrariumDesigns
      @TerrariumDesigns  Месяц назад

      I use an ro pump that’s on a timer. The most popular (& probably best) is a mistking misting system, comes with everything including a times & nozzles etc

    i think you should've added a little water pool in the foreground, although it might be more maintenance i think it would be worth it

    Hi! Amazing project, I would love to ask your for some advice if you could spare the time🫶🏻.
    I'm planning on adopting some poison dart frogs. Could you tell me your experience of terrariums impacting the humidity and smell of the room it's in (given regular cleaning).
    Also what would be your best setup for regulating temperature and humidity inside of the terrarium for my froggos?
    Thank you in advance, Stefan.
