My absolute top channel on RUclips. I love your videos and watch certain ones (nano terrariums) multiple times for direction. The best part is the time jumps in the same video. We get to fast forward 100 days without waiting three months. Much appreciated. I built a biorb air 30 this weekend and want to add a mini orchid to the wood at some point. Thanks for the constant inspiration! - Manchester, UK
I’ve been basing a project off your vampire crab terrarium, but the methods used in this video would actually work a lot better. Thanks for opening my eyes to new methods.
I've been super fond of poison dart frogs since I was a kid after being given a little book about them -- it's fun to learn even more about them a couple decades later
I love this! Frogs! Thanks for inspring me to start making terrariums. There's a place on the west coast in the usa that sells cleaned animal bones and i've included them in several of my small terrariums and they look amazing. Thanks for sharing these videos I love them and get so excited when i see a new one!
I loved the part when the substrate was added, feels so satisfying to pad it down. I tried a new substrate mix recipe with 1 part of sand, I used it as potting soil. What do you think about sand? In my opinion, it surely prevents compacting even more and gives more drainage. The only downside to it is that it's a little messy, wet sand sticks to everything and drains out a little bit when I water my plants. I guess, larger grain is better, or use gravel instead
Merry Christmas ... 🎅 For PDFs the tank isnt the perfect choice...a bit on the small side for Tincs and no aircirculation. Hardscape is about perfect though 👍Tumucumaque are awesome but they need Vit A once a month too. Keep it coming ...love your channel 👌
Awesome build! With the screen mesh on the lid do you still occasionally spray water inside? Thank you for all the great content! I follow your substrate mix everyrime and it works wonders!
What would recommend to someone who is just starting and is on a very tight budget? Also even though they aren’t poisonous in captivity do they require a special license to keep?
I did not catch you say what species and locality the dart frogs are. Are they Tinctorius peacock? They are a bucket list pet I hope to someday keep. Happy Holidays!
I once had poison dart frogs but couldn't keep them after the fruit flies they ate started escaping and some developed the ability to fly. With that in mind, I decided that if I ever got some of those frogs again, I would need a new food source, and I decided that ants would probably be the best option. Since you have more experience than me, could you recommend any ant species that reproduces quickly enough to be a suitable food source for the frogs?

You nailed the hardscape on this one. Good choice switching to the lava rock.
Thanks mate, I appreciate that!
I see Just because you make content about Terrariums, doesn't mean you dont watch content about Terrariums 😂

I’ve wanted dart frogs for about 25 years
This may be the year!
🤙💪 I had to watch this video about how to make a dart frog terrarium and now I’ve got a dart frog terrarium 😅
The swap to the lava rock was a big upgrade imo, awesome video! Looks great!

Grrrrrreat work !!!! Love the passion , beautiful end product !!! You have 👍🏼👍🏼 talent .
Beautiful terrarium, love the colour on the frogs
You and worchester terrariums need a colab btw it looks beautiful
Love the build! Only thing I'm missing is a water source where the frogs can bathe. Trust me they love to do that even if the humidity is high!

Looks great. How often do you spray it and what do you do with the water that collects at the bottom?

Ill mostly like do something similar if i find the right plants, very pretty!
Can you do a snake species?
I love dart frogs!
I imagine you have this infinite hall of shelves and lights where you put your hundreds of enclosures😅
Do you ever drain the bromeliads to prevent crown rot?

You are inspiring.
00:30 - I misunderstood and thought you were saying "superfic" as a shortened form of "superficial".

I want to do this so bad!!
How are the Eye Lash ferns doing? I've had them, outside of a terrarium, it was a fairly quick death.
What type of dart frogs are those? Love the color combo
Dendrobates tinctorius "Tumucumaque" also known as peacock tinc

Good stuff. Lid looks a bit beat up :)
Thanks! Yeah it’s all scrap glass that I messed up cutting for other projects😅 it does the job though😃
Looks great but I bet that glass is 100% covered in condensation all the time
frog!!
🐸
You don’t need a heater for the dart frogs?!
Ah yes, the frogs that if u touch u die.
Unless they are captive bred, in this case they are harmless.
Very few are *that* toxic, even in the wild.
@@alysonemery5287 ...actually only two species 😏
Heloo
Hey!
You need alot plants
I would love to have dart frogs, but my family says NO! To them if it doesn't have four legs, fur and barks then it's not a true pet.
I want a Japanese translation.
Wowie I’m a dog
Good boi 🦴😘
Woof woof woooof woof wof
