i know its well a year later, BUT....... if you turn TCS all the way off in the scats and cats, you get a lot more control in the twisties. it doesn't take power out from under you when you start powering out of the turn and the wheels get a little loose. just have confidence in your throttle control and footwork. References: Trust me, bro (been driving a manual widebody scat, after owning a manual cat, through mountains and hills daily/nightly for ~8 years)
now show this to any hellcat or challenger owner that say they know how to drive just by going in a straight line doing burning outs or making noises. now this a real way to race a hellcat😂
The problem of the Challenger is that in 15 years FCA didn't design an all new platform like Mustang or Camaro, the Challenger has always been the same, excluding the brand new elecritc "dodge". They never made a track oriented challenger, only the Viper
there was supposed to be a track oriented challenger, an ACR version. But they cancelled it because of its weight... even though recently the CEO said they couldve reduced the challengers weight the whole time ...
Funnily enough dodge's ceo actually had the option to use the Giorgio platform used in the alfa Romeo Giulia quadrifoglio but dodge decided against it as if they did that they would be directly competing with their own viper which was on sale at the time if they came out with a hellcat.
For comparison on which course is bumper, backpain is the driver to know. He had the rare opportunity to test his home chassis on both locations so i:ll ask him what he thinks
Makes me wanna run my R/T 6m on the downhill. For years i had my B5 Audi do any hill related work but after seeing this video I’m thinking maybe it’s time to let the Audi rest and have the challenger pick up the mantle
We're working on getting a special Camera mount solution for the Evo. It's hard to stabilize since the driver's home course has a lot of violent jumps and road imperfections similar to a rally tarmac
Hey, question for you. Is it “safe” to be holding the RPMs high and downshifting frequently? I’ve been told that’s bad when doing stuff like this on courses. Specifically for HCs and “safe” for the motor and tranny I mean ( not redeye, But I think they have the same tranny )
Where are you guys located?? If I gave you my r32 to take for a spin on these roads would you try it?? I’d love to see what it can do with a professional, my friend said it handled better than any other car in its class on touge
Watching backpain run touge is always interesting. Running muscle is hard and really fun to watch.

17:44 was probably my biggest "oohh fuck" on my home course.

skin tight jeans, a beer gut, and cow boy boots. also one baggy boi. wtf💀
😅 hard to find this type of diversity in other mainstream motorsport
@@MoparAdventurewhat info were you trying to gain from that comment im genuinely curious

Sweet run! Backpain was the driver what a beast.
I come back to this one once in a while. Such a gem. Fucking incredible
These videos make it so tempting to drive my local touge hahaha, keep them coming!

Amazing, didn't think the Hellcat could handle like that.
Man, now I wanna try with my Honda Odyssey! You motivate me.
Honda Odyssey is king of the minivan meta, if it's the newer model then make sure to put in the cheat code!!
@@RidgeChaser You can try drive a Valiant Duster or a Dodge Demon 1970 in curves?
@@amaneyugi2710 Dodge demon 1970? What are you talking about? Dodge didn't make a car named demon till 2017.
@@Mrcoconutgun search the internet you will see that I am right and I know that because my family drives one
@@amaneyugi2710 I stand corrected, pardon me
I wonder what Paul Walker would’ve thought about this car if he had the opportunity to drive it?🤔
been waitin for one of theseeeeee
Entertaining and beats the stereotype!

classssic, i remember fca/daimler-benz used the mercedes e-class chassis for forever in their chargers lol

I’m glad they didn’t they still sold like hell and were extremely popular the whole time and they kept muscle cars alive
If it ain't broke don't fix. Makes their cars modular anyways
If you find a way to add more weight in the back of the car and a tire cooling system its a 100
Definitely lots of power but to have it try n chase down a S2000 would be interesting.
We only had this Hellcat for a day. But let's see if I can get a Challenger vs S2000 matchup
Student driver should try come Oahu and try the touge here. Let’s see how bumpy one is compared to the other.

Tants is definitely way more bumpy then any local course here

Love the boots
Fit vs Hellcat, I want to see a battle of power vs handling.
Hellcat was a one time event - but we'll have some power vs handling challenges soon 🤙
Bet the Bambi scared tf out of yall lmao
Swagged out video
the fact i have a 2:50 inna accord w out double laning is funny
them boots tho👌
"Can it touge?" If it's so hairy you can't stay in one lane, the answer is "No".
Can we get a review of the EVO and maybe it pushed to some limits somehow please?

How do you avoid head on collisions with other driver when crossing lanes?
You can see the headlight of the oncoming cars, but you should also keep a safety margin just in case a bambi jumps in
See all the pulled over spotters along the way?
