@@Divine_Serpent_Gehthe 6.2L hemi with a supercharger with more displacement than the average EU car is probably whats tricky for ole boy. It's a lot of bald eagles to contend with.
Honestly the charger and the Challenger deserves that AWD system to help with the traction. And it could have feature to enable RWD mode like the M5 for burnouts and drifting.
The Charger doesn't need an AWD system to help with traction. What it needs is 305 tires in the rear, as it came with 245s from the factory. I don't know who came up with that idea but its obvious 245s aren't enough. Almost every car with similar power has much wider tires in the rear, like 275s or 285s. But at least its not hard to do donuts with 245s.
They shoulda make a hellcat Chrysler 300 with AWD. I know people on youtube make them, they should have sold them factory like that. Woulda been so awesome.
@molinamol it's a 2.5 ton American SUV. It's not designed to be precise. Can you imagine going 250kmh and having those small inputs make sudden movements. You would immediately lose control.
@@semiedgv You seem to never driven a heavy car that is build right like the Mercedes G class or one of their SUV. Dodge is junk, that's the whole story.
I used to drive an older Durango, the V6 model. It was a nice car, it was reliable, it had a lot of room. I put 250,000 miles into the thing and the guy I sold it to is still driving it. It was NOT a fast car. These new ones are absolutely bonkers fast, even in stock configuration.
I have been waiting for this one. What a monster this car is. I live in Switzerland I want one as soon as possible but its like 120-30-40k, still pretty expensive. But thank you so much for this review its a fucking beast this thing
I was gonna say something smart and tell you that you can get one in Germany for like €60K, but then I checked Hellcats and yes you're right they're around €130K. Europe always had a thing for punishing fun..
@ Yeah if Im not wrong on AutoScout there is like 4-5 of them and they are around 120k. That is still a lot of money + everything behind for the car you need money to have it. But you never see these too, in Europe I say, I have never seen a hellcat one in my life
@@tomyyRS4 AutoScout and Mobile are the ones I usually check for cars, Germany has a decent number of American vehicles, but you gotta check like every 3-4 days in case theres new ones. The ones that have a low price and are in good condition, are bought up quite fast. I guess it depends on how much you're willing to spend.
@ Yes of course, its just an idea, its so rare and brutal. But if I think this is a car that will cost quite a bit after you bought it too. It would not be for tomorrow😅 maybe 2-3 years we will see. But its so rare and special
@@ShepardMerc I mean if you drive this as a daily and hard, man I think about that fuel consumption… should be around 25-30l, the tires, and everything else. i think its super expensive too keep…
Amazing and incredible at the same time! I've been on the Autobahn many times with speeds far more than 150 mph with different vehicles. My 5 cents: Heavy cars with a high center of gravity are not the utmost safe at high speeds!
Thanks for this fun video. Please get an original (without after market tunings) Durango SRT Hellcat (710hp is more than enough and does reach 290 km/h) or at least the SRT 392 (480hp) and review it. Original is often better. Great beasts under extinction.
The Viper ACR / ACR EXTREME ( 1&2 ) Aren't fast their Coefficient of Drag is horrible. Its not even 200 mph the rear wing an front splitter ( without canards ) Generates over 1000kg at 170 mph
i love when he is getting on the ground just to show us the rest of the Exhaust system Max you are a legend
My European mind cannot comprehend this.
Lol:)
Not really much harder to comprehend than a RS Q8, XM or GLS AMG…? Totally different cars, yet the concept is essentially the same.
Just with the old brabus g class u should understand.
Isn’t it beautiful

Would be way too heavy, and also remove the raw feel of what old challengers felt like

@@ShepardMercmine has 275 from factory, trust me it's just a 392 Daytona, and it changes nothing regarding doing "donuts" or traction.
I now remember why I like the SLR McLaren so much. That combo of the deep v8 rumble with the high supercharcher whine is so awesome.
