I recently took the Durango SRT for a test drive, and it blew me away! The handling is superb for an SUV, and the acceleration is unmatched in its class. Plus, the aggressive styling turns heads everywhere I go. It's the perfect blend of muscle car performance and SUV practicality.
I'll have to be financially stable in every sense before purchasing my first luxury car. The best thing to do with your money is to invest rightly because money left saving will end up with no returns.
The best advice that i learned from Manny Koshbin is don't buy a Super or Hyper car until you have 10 times the price of it in your Bank account, when you purchase a Super car you add a car to your garage but u add also maintenance and unexpected damages that can happen in future
I understand Manny advice but that's overkill. If most people did that - they would never own one. The 10-15% rule is enough - especially if you make even more with multiple streams of income. My investment properties pay for my exotics cars. It's many different things you can do to afford easily and responsibly. You don't need a million cash to afford a cheap 100k car, My first exotic was 100k put down 20k- financed 80k. Then traded up to more expensive cars. Now I have an Aventador, so it's not hard at all, Especially if you are making 20-25k plus a month with little to no debt with multiple streams and assets that produce income.
Owned a ‘23 DDHC and it was insane. The whine of the super charger was epic. So why did I sell it? The super high theft rate here in the USA. You park in Wash DC and odds are it will be stolen or you’ll be car jacked. Not worth the risk. But man it’s a bad ass SUV 🏁🇺🇸 Prop to Tim Kuniskis for making all these Hellcat engined cars happen.

The Durango was among the last vehicles designed at Daimler Chrysler before Mercedes left. It is based on the ML series SUV, but bigger. One example of attention to detail is that it has the battery under the passengers seat for better weight distribution, and at least some models had a perfect 50/50 weight distribution (not sure what that huge engine up front does to the stats on this one). It is a bit of an outlier, in a good way, from traditional US SUV design.
I own a 2019 Durango R/T and absolutely LOVE it! I could only imagine how much BETTER the SRT is!! Got goosebumps listening to the Supercharger whine!!!! 😍
I have a vision of a fully caged version of this with six bucket seats - ALL with individual harness bars for true six point harnesses, but still with enough space to get into and out of all three rows, some GIGANTIC carbon-carbon brakes, carbon fiber wheels, slicks, and some mean-ass underbody and active aero. It's just begging to be turned into something even more insane and it makes perfect sense, somehow.
Replace the Pirellis with stickier Michelins and this beast will be even better. I didn’t expected that the last V8 muscle car from Dodge was going to be a three-row SUV.
@@fartdonkey8290 same boat...just hit 30K and it's the best vehicle I've owned by far. I can't think of anything else I would want instead... given I tow, fill the seats frequently and do long road trips (~1000 mile drive each way) the DDHC just checks all the boxes.

Imma tell you some, I've never liked Dodge, except for a few models, the Durango is one of them, I bought an RT recently and it's freaking awesome, not fast but not slow either, some day I'll upgrade to an SRT or mod the shit outta it. Can't imagine owning a Hellcat 😮💨
You're right it looks like the Purosangue is 725 ps vs 719 ps for the Durango Hellcat. I am not sure if AutoTrader got ps mixed up with hp here or what happened.
@@cedricjackson7521 If you're actually pushing it then yeah it's not going to sip gas (frankly none of the other super suvs will either). I am averaging around 5.2mpg at the moment driving aggressively in track mode exclusively. That's on the driving behavior though and not really the cars fault.
And do not forget you can add 150 RELIABLE hp with a simple tune and supercharger pulley swap. These will run 10.70 1/4 mile at over 125 with a tune and pulley swap on pump gas and 10.3 at 130 on a mild e85 tune. With these mods there is almost nothing that will pull you in a dig race except a plaid

The curb weight is often quoted at 5710lbs despite being 5575lbs because Dodge posted the wrong numbers 🤦♂️ I can only imagine it’s the same for other vehicles I just don’t know any better when the specs are wrong for other vehicles.
Bad.. 16/17 at best on the highway and maybe 11 or 12 in town if you drive in eco mode. My daily mpg average is 5.4mpg at the moment (completely stock).

The Urus has manufacturer figures of 3.3 seconds to 62 mph whereas the Durango can't even do that for 60 mph.
You might be alone 😂 Honestly, it's the camera/microphone placement they used that makes it so loud... you can barely hear it while sitting inside the vehicle as it's muted a lot compared to the Charger/Challenger offerings.

The fact that the Durango gets compared to the Urus is a major compliment. The Durango is closer to a minivan and the Urus is essentially a tall car.

Smaller, less luxurious and cheaper. It’s quicker and better handling by far but they are completely different experiences.
