Its electronically limited to 640 so take the “standard” rs and due a remap and you’ll have more power than a Urus for less money.

I always preferred the R8 and RSQ8 compared to the Lambo counterparts. The Audis are classier in an understated way, and with much better interiors.
Have you owned any? Obviously not. I have had two R8 V10's and have Urus right now. Also have a Huracan in the garage. Audis aren't classier and the interiors use the same components, but in a Lambo it's so much more vibrant. When I went R8 to Huracan, it was another level. How can you compare when an R8 gets mistaken for a TTRS all the time, seriously, that would happen. No one mistakes a Lambo for anything but a Lambo.
@@luciussander8217you made his point with your comment… lambos are designed to be loud and obnoxious “look at me” cars. That is exactly why they get looked at. The R8 is more subtle, it’s an Audi.

@@SpeedragTech yeah um no. Fingerprint magnet, way too much gloss black plastic, only a 10 inch screen instead of 12-15. Only positive is that there's still dedicated climate controls even if it's on a screen. That used to be a negative but times have changed

Audi seems to have missed the chance to make truly meaningful improvements. Competitors have upped their game with 700+ hp powertrains, and advancements across the board. Could it be that Audi intentionally toned down what could have been done because of possible conflicts with the Lamborghini Urus..?
That's always the case. Urus has to justify that double-up in price somehow

Basically VW detuned the Urus a lot to sell you a RSQ8 then detuned it less to sell you a RSQ8 Performance.

The exterior and interior appearance did not occur as required but I am happy that this did not happen because I love the current look of this wonderful car

I have a Q8 50TDi and love it, I would go for the SQ8 myself. Big performance but a lot cheaper than the RS, never mind the Urus!

The Audi Q8 performance in that orange/red colour, eye catching but I would have to see the Lamborghini Uris as well.
The Urus and Q8 are basically the same car. It just depends if you have the extra money to burn for a different badge.

I own a Urus and you wouldn't. It's an Audi, not a Lambo, which means a LOT.
Looks good, but prefacelift lights looked way more agressive and futuristic

RSQ8 as it is less noticible on the road...more of a undercover car that goes unnoticed.
Apparently they made the exhaust louder cause we can appreciate the last ICE rsq8? Maybe, cause it seems strange that all of a sadden they made it louder when all their other cars are quieter

I prefer to go for The four rings, never forget that the Audi is the urus’ mother, the engine in the urus is 100% made by Audi, you just need to pay half price of urus and get the same performance on road, Audi rsq8 is the best SUV has ever been made.
Don’t underestimate the Urus.. they will release a new URUS EXTREME version, even more powerful than the one they have, that will be exceed all other SUVs. The hat being said, I ❤ this Audi!!
The turbo gt has already put the urus and urus performante to shame. Think this through.

No mention of pricing yet, kept talking about the Urus. In most drag races ive seen which lets face it is about the bragging rights the Urus and RSQ8 lose out to the BMW X6m or X5m competition. I guess we'll have to wait and see for future drag races to compare
in stock form??? How fast do you think the BMW cars are in the 1/4 mile? The Urus runs similar to the Turbo GT (2.8 to 60 and 11.1 in the 1/4 mile)... BMW X6M/X5M Comp have never been that quick to my knowledge and have even been seen losing to the Trackhawk.
@S8ER carwow have run several races where the BMWs have beaten the Audi and Lamborghini to 1/4

A bit off-topic, but I saw a new Honda CR-V or whatever it was go by, and it looked a bit like a Lamborghini Urus, which just tells me that the Lamborghini styling is just not crazy enough anymore, at least the Audi looks like an Audi so I’d have it for that reason (and because it looks better anyway).

Alex. As always spot on! Is it me or is this high performance SUV getting silly? Audi certainly knows a thing or two. And of your, but the Audi over that pantomime show pony, the Lamborghini Urus. ( Leave that to the losing premiership footballers! Simply zero taste!) As for the Range Rover SV? Well if Range Rover can sort out the launch issues....and BMW stop putting more " horses" in it's X5 M Sport, then the Audi could be the No1 in this crazy race to SUV bonkers!.
This, cayenne, urus and benteyga are all the same underneath.

I could not afford a RSQ8 due to the high depreciation of this car. Three year-old modells list at some 50% of the original selling price. This money is gone for ever. A Lambo Urus is much more stabil and is sold close to the old selling price even if they are 3 ys. old with some 40000 km.
Whilst I like the RSQ8, I'd have the SQ8 - less complex
