Ford has always been existing customers first, that’s why their car dynamics sells to specific set of buyers. I haven’t meet someone who owns a Ford or buys a Ford and their reasoning is because it’s sexy and hip. Enjoy your KIA, they making interesting EVs lately.
Ford doesn’t have a model Y equivalent but this would do well in America much better then a Mach e also don’t call it an explorer it’s not
ID4 is not better than Mach-e. You’re high lol
@@astrobot3038it actually is in many ways, Mach E isn’t a good EV
@@binflydushyNothing about the ID4 is better than Mach-E. Nothing.
Ford chose the name because they own it and it has Explorer style as well
I don't think that those shoes are really appropriate for driving.
Nice but Vauxhall just released the new Grandland EV with 435 miles of range, Ford is facing tough competition these days.
This is the first positive review of the Explorer EV.
It looks horrendous and it cost 40 grand for the basic level. There’s no way in the real world that you would get those MPG figures quoted. It’s got all the VW’s faults without looking like an ID3 which doesn’t look half band. You would have to more money than sense and zero taste to buy this car.
You really must try harder Ford.
Fingers crossed for the competition 🙏🏿
Was driving behind a new vw id buzz the other day might aswell have been driving behind an hgv so unnecessary and only 1 person in it.
Great review, Alex, thank you!
EVs sometimes go boom and up in flames, so it's only poetic that Ford chose the name EXPLORER - nicknamed by many to EXPLODER - for a rebadged Volkswagen. I mean, do they really wanna sell these things?:) Why the hell shouls I buy this and not an ID.4 or ID.5 GTX? Oh boy, Ford, you're toast.
And here ladies and germs, we have a great presentation of a boring car. Credit to the presenter, demerits to Ford.
Prices are insane for these things. We need to get down to the 20k mark if not below. Ridiculous money.
I remember when Mondeo's were circa £25k, I think my company car 2.0tdci titanium was £24k or something like that, granted that was 2017 but still...
@@CarsofGlasgow the market has gone insane. Manufacturers are price gouging EVs and therefore making less ICE and then charging a fortune for them too. Dacia is doing it right.
Can any one dumb down what man made leather is? 🤔🤦🏽♂️
Plastic😂!
vinyl
I bet this EV it's much better than any Tesla , Ford it's one of the best brands on my opinion..
