Okay since no one else will say it I guess I’ll be that guy. I love how the radials make the super stock sit a little lower to the ground than the red eye. The low stance and the beefy tires blows me away. Nobody seems to mention this.

I plan to race it as often as I can with my first race coming up soon in Las Vegas...
Another great review. This is the video I have been looking for because I was thinking of trading in my '19 Redeye WB for a Super Stock. You were saying that the suspension is a little different between the two, but from what I was told the suspensions are the same it is just the difference settings in track mode. And that floating feeling you were getting was just from the difference in the tires. At least that is what I've been told.
That SuperStock is gorgeous. I would love either a trackhawk or trailcat, but super stock is just more rare. But both cars are beastly for sure. Nice comparison as well

With the smaller wheels, the Super Stock had much smaller brakes. That really does affect the drivability a little as well. The stopping power isn't the same. Looks like it has 4 piston calipers as well, rather than the 6 piston of the Redeye.
Have you ever owned and driven these two cars with both types of brakes? If so, show us your collected data on driveability. Tires with more sidewall have a better ride and can pull more lateral g, braking, and acceleration than cars with lower sidewalls of the same diameter. That's why F1 had 13" wheels and such tall sidewalls for decades.
Nice video man I mostly focused on your reaction towards the car makes it 100x better makes me want to get one I can picture the smile on my face the day I get in one just by looking at yours 😁

Those big drag radials really suck on a wet road. There was some standing water during a heavy rain fall on I-40 and even though I slowed down from 75 mph to 55 mph I was hydroplaning like crazy, pretty nerve racking. You also get the larger 6 piston brakes on the Redeye, the Super Stock has the smaller 4 pistol brakes to allow for 18" wheels.

The Demon is lightened a little. Not sure if the SS is or not. Demon less sound deadening, hollow sway bar, no trunk light and some other small weight savings which I believe equates to about a 100 to 200 lb savings. Demon breathes a little better but I agree would be a drivers race. All equal the Demon gets the win.
@@stlhd4lyfe1 I totally agree. launch is everything. I would just be curious to see stock vs stock going down the track. I can't believe I haven't seen this matchup yet. Of course how many "stock" Demons are there anymore? Most of the ones I see being tracked are modified. But it would really be nice to see how the two stack up. The transbrake is the big advantage for the Demon. My 1320 has one too, which is fun to play with, although I have not taken it to the track. But I think most drivers at the track of both Demons and 1320's tend to just footbrake it as the transbrake is too complicated to use when at the tree under stress apparently. So either way, the Demon SHOULD win because of the better breathing on the top end. But a good driver in the SS should be able to match up well.
@@LocalHauntsShow I wouldn’t mind seeing either. I met a guy here in Ohio last week at a show with a black Super Stock. Fully loaded, really nice. I have a 21 SmokeShow Scat Charger. Best review of Apples to Apples ever !! I traded a redeye for a super stock. Only thing you might have missed is suspension is exactly the same until you put it in track.. Its the tires who make it not able to daily because of the rain.
I want to get the last super stock next year but the 2021 was rated only at 168 top due to tire limits what's your thoughts.
@@marquism2920 if you get any of the MOPAR stage kits that can be over ridden. I never came close to 168 in either. Car traps in the 130's at the strip.
@@cpogto4199 Thank you.
Now that it’s been awhile can you tell us what did you like the best when you compared the Redeye vs super stock ?
I see several Challenger Hellcats with the new snorkel hood but no way to tell if it a red eye or not cause you can’t see the redeye badge up when driving. I wish they was a way to be able to tell wether it was a red eye or not with out having to see the red eye in the badge.
that super stock should be your new channel car daily driver!!
I would love to have it.. 120k is too steep for me unfortunately
Does the super stock have a lower top speed from the factory because of the drag tires?
10 hp difference? I can't find dyno results showing a difference between the redeye and demon.
It's 11hp diffrnce but who's counting at 800hp.
@@ak49sailor 797 to 807 is 10. And after watching dozens of dyno videos I haven't seen any trend of redeyes dynoing lower.
@@goodinsrt8 yep can confirm
@@moparman3629 can confirm what?
If I had to chose I’d take the Super Stock , I like the cinnamon colour and rims .
Yes it’s a sick car 🤜🔥
I have to choose super stock srt
All these cars are insane considering speed limit laws. Need a cheap thrill, visit 6 Flags over Texas.
I would love to see a stock Super Stock vs a stock Demon on the strip to see if there is any difference.
Be a drivers race for sure!!
Has launch control and all that too. But I’m still running stock tires, so I footbrake mine also. Babying off the line (14-1500rpm) I’ve managed a 12.5. Cars run good. I think the superstocks run like 10.3 or something in that neighborhood. Fun cars, got a great deal on mine and they hold value really well. Enjoy!!
14:48 realizes that he’s going to fast too soon. 😹😹
Well I had a 2015 Hellcat and a 2019 Redeye and without a doubt the red eyes blower is much louder and a much bigger whine
