Few things. This is why I don't run a front plate. Even if I get a ticket in town that's fine. When they bust you in the hills it's always head on and they turn around. Doing this at night gives you a huge advantage. No one is coming to help the cop and no helicopters are on the way. Also you don't know me I don't know you. Finally this is a good reason to use unassuming and boring looking cars. I use a black RHD hatch back. They don't know what it is except a black hatch back. My other car is a bright yellow roaster. If it gets spotted I just don't drive it for a month.

I think I may have just found the perfect channel for research on the real deal American touge Protagonist, based on me, drives a 1997 Accord and eventually works his way into sanctioned racing, alongside a friend of his with a JDM AE86 coupe while leading other underdogs to victory

I would of stopped....but i run a different mountain...The city below my mountain is a maze and takes tim to get through and cops dont even chase..they just wait for you in the city to pop up...many have tried...but you just cant outrun a radio.

Hey, glad to hear from East Coast - it's a good question. This is a corner-by-corner basis rather than a general region. As a touge driver you know that some corner exits will have better visibility than others. Some corners, it is safe to take at full width. On others, it is possible to doublr-lane on corner entrance as long as you exit on your side. Some corners are so blind, that it's not acceptable to both enter and exit on the other side. It also depends if changing direction to your side means increasing your slip angle (right turns in North America) or decreasing slip angle (left turns). Let me know if you need more clarification. I'm planning to make a video about this soon.

I would advise you a mk3 mr2 as they don't have the same snap oversteer problem as the mk1 and 2.2 is a pretty good car but for touge it can be pretty dangerous
When the MX5 was behind you he was barely tryin n sticking to you like nothing, Work on your corner entrance and exit... The perks of FWD is you can use the front wheels to literally drag you around corners. You're letting off too much mid corner

You're overworking the steering wheel coming through corners and relying far too much on the ecu to keep you on the road lol (TCR) (ESC) If you had your lines right off the mark you wouldn't need to be wrestling with the car so much
Manufacturers need to make a sacrifice when designing a car that does multiple functions. While they won't corner like a purpose-built sports car, VW strikes a similar balance like modern Toyota and Honda.

Pat W the place they are at is only patrolled by 1 regional park officer at a time, which is perfect for the racers Becuase he normally can’t get backup fast enough and the backup comes from the opposite side they were running towards, they have starting patrolling more and more Becuase of racing complaints too, but the culture has never been so big

I 100% agree that electronic aids aren't good for practice which is why I try to turn them off as much as possible. This Golf only lets us turn off traction control but not stability control. The only way to disable everything is to pull the ABS fuse, but the headlights go out as well

Thats assuming they dont have another fed waiting at the other side. I ran the canyon all the way through one time around 2am and when i got to the end i slowed down and my only then i realized there was a coo hiding in the dark of the last and final straight away going in and out of the canyon. Some guy got caught during the day like that while i was there cruising.

Main issue is you have TCS on in first part, and your steering input needs alot of work.. Steering too hard

There was no chance for that cruiser to catch up with you guys, which means that these canyon runs are excellent to outrun the cops IF you're really legging it.
Thats assuming they dont have another fed waiting at the other side. I ran the canyon all the way through one time around 2am and when i got to the end i slowed down and my only then i realized there was a coo hiding in the dark of the last and final straight away going in and out of the canyon. Some guy got caught during the day like that while i was there cruising.
