      Oh man. Remember the Schmidt post-trade interview? lol Ooff. Don’t even really blame him. Probably was in a tough spot - and Vegas certainly known for rubbing people the wrong way. But this far more what you wanna hear.

      Right? Who thought he would re-signed? I remember counting down the years of his contract and hoping for a buyout or trade.

      Foote is gonna make him into Zadorov. I remember people mocking Big Z cause of how he played with Calgary vs. Edmonton in the playoffs

      That's what I'm hoping. The D coaches are excellent. The re-making of Myers was significant. Desharnais is a project but the one thing they can't coach is size. If he can work out a few bugs and play in their system he might be interesting. It's taken him a long time to get to the NHL, so we know is that he's had to work hard to get there.
      Zadorov averaged about 20 reg season pts/yr, +12 career. Desharnais the last 2 years in Edmonton was a +18, averaging 15min TOI. That's actually better than I thought his stats would be.

      He got fine coaching in Edmonton. That's why he was one part of one of the best 3rd pairs in the League last year.

    He may not be the most amazing defenseman but Gonchar, Tocchet and Foote transformed myers to a decent defenseman

      EDM to VAN is quite the difference. Even though someone who makes his salary still will have a hard time buying a home in Van. Edm is definitely better in that regard.

      Let’s see. 🤔 All the bad D picks from Rutherford Allvin so far. Cole in the playoffs and guys not finishing the job in second round games 6, 7. Confidence and being grateful covers both ends of the mindset. Nux D stays big

      I’m an oiler fan and he is a good defenseman …not great but he’s a great pk guy…he’s the reason the oilers had the best pk in the playoffs!…he’s fun to watch also…I think you will like him!

      @@jaidenG555 bro literally was the king of the oilers pk he’s a big reason it was that good. he blocks shots and plays a physical game. no offensive upside but that’s not his game. he’s not bad lol he’s actually pretty good depth guy

      the canucks literally went deep in the playoffs and almost beat the oilers.. did you even watch the playoff or just watch the last game where the oilers lost their shot at the cup

      @@PhilDesigns 2nd round isn’t deep please lmao at least a western conference final. Also y’all almost beat us cause we had an off series and we still won. Vancouver also didn’t get any better they might have got worse and Edmonton got significantly better and more experienced. On top of all that wouldn’t surprise me if it was just a 1 off year for the Canucks don’t get your hopes up wasn’t long ago you guys weren’t even expected to make the playoffs. Y’all a lot like the 2018 oilers, you still have a long long long way to go to even be a contender.
