For me, as somebody who likes to run and kickbox, strength and mobility is always more important than muscle.
Austin is backk👑
Just wait until 2023... Back with a vengance.
@@Austindunhamfit let's get it!
He's been back, just posting on his vlog channel
@@Austindunhamfit can't wait man
Bro u are absolute machine. Honestly u are big motivation for me for years now. Seeing how much u improved over the years is very inspiring.
I would agree that strength training would be more preferable as it is a lot more enjoyable for me as well. I started more than a year ago because I wanted to learn the advanced skills and now that still motivates me
This is awesome! Thank you! As a girl i‘m a bit annoyed that most female fitfluencers focus so hard on the idea of looking a certain way rather than feeling strong and being healthy. I‘ll look into Calisthenics! ❤
Much needed mannn
I do weighted calisthenic and weight lifting all in the same day. Was hard at 1st but I pushed myself to where I can do both no problem. My recovery is at a super level now.
Same here. It’s all about the journey. Only up from here
John 14:21
This is what the f🤬k I’m talking about AD let’s go I been waiting for you to drop some training. I prefer the strength it’s just something about pure power to me. It’s makes me feel better 🦾 pull up or shut up 🤫
Great info and insight thanks for the video Austin ‼🙏💪💯💯💯
You make very good content! Subbed
Love the beginning of the video, very motivational. How did you get such a strong weighted pull up. Please make a workout or advice video on it. I can’t do my 50% 1 rep max for reps
I do both everyday i work out, 10 dips and pull ups in-between whatever set im working on til i leave the gym 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
Great vid bro
Honestly i miss this Austin version SOO MUCH!!!!!
Austin Gang💪💪🔥🔥
We’re gonna need that strength workout
Geek amd back on the grind
The calisthenics King is back
Nice to learn about your journey AD starting with calisthenics. And the things you learned along the way. ✅
Strength training always, I don’t like feeling weak 💪🏾
So Austin, you'd say it's best to build a hybrid routine? I do one week weights and one week calisthenics in rotation currently.
I’m tryna see more public interviews
He's back
Hy-per-cho-phy….great video man been watching you for year
So what isn’t mentioned is endurance reps (15+). What’s your opinion? I like the idea of being able to be strong for an extended period of time and have insane endurance
imagine doing pull-ups w half ur bodyweight 15 times or 4 plate squat etc. not just endurance
Damn Austin uploaded on the main channel?!
Austin do a video explaining workout to get stronger not building muscle and diet to help you stay and get strong
Strenght Training is physical and mentaly challenge, but in the long run it rewards💯
Facts
no its not strength training is fucking easy as fuck. I recently switched to strength training after training in 10-15 rep range, and it is so easy i cant believe it
hey austin! I am doing weighted one arm push ups, but i am much weaker on my none dominant arm. I am doing 5 reps on arm and I Get 2 reps on my other. How do i fix this?
I was wondering when u switch to hypertrophy program how much strength did you lose? Also did you see any physical differences from switching? Thanks
Hey Austin. If we're speaking strictly calisthenics and I want the benefits of hypertrophy and strength training, would you say it's better to do 2 hypertrophy sets and 2 strength based sets or hybrid them in every set like controlling the negatives and being explosive on positives up until muscle failure?
Love strength training personally
Same
same!
Nice information about hypertrofy and strength training. I do combat sport and hypertrofy is not used there more explosive calisthenics training for strength and conditioning.
What about extreme endurance workout routines like Zef does. He has big arms especially for his size. Genetics the routines or both?
Hi i have a question: why not only train hypertrophy if it can build both strength and muscle size
Combine Austin Dunham with Knees over toes guy, and you’ll get a new kind of beast.
You gonna have to bulk to hit those numbers and get stronger bro! If not you’ll plateau just a 200 to 300 calorie surplus!
Is possible to do a train that gather calesthenics skills with bodybuilding?
yes
You mentioned strength and CNS adaptations are slow, but to be honest... building muscle is much slower. Strength gains you can "measure" and notice on a wekk to week and month to month basis. Muscle building, other than 1st yr noobie gains takes a LOT of time to build and even notice...
so what should we do now
1:55 I've got a friend with way bigger biceps however I can lift more than him?
ya ive been lacking on the skin care💯
Tips to heal inner elbow pain during pull-ups?
Dayum those burgers looked hella fine
I am a calisthenics workouter now
So for strength training? What would you say is a good rep and set range?
Lower
Why you dont try to lower you body fat to when back then use to be like 4 years ago and with that look even more bigger but weight the same or even less
Everrrybody hit like n sub. My guy been in the 990k range for OVER a year. Lets help him get that "Milly"
So if you get heavier that's got to benefit you at building muscles and improving strength in calisthenics
Strength: Tren and Deca
Aesthetics: Clen and winnie
Bro is that a Rubik’s cube behind you? Can you solve it?
In my experience anytime your strength goes up you get bigger
We not fina skip over them baby blue leggins my boi
A bigger muscle is a stronger muscle not true look at Bruce Lee
I started going to the gym because I was fat and I had decided I wanted to be as fit as a Marine special operation command
Weight lifting is for building muscle
Calisthenics is for building strength
MY OPINION ‼️ no need to argue
Do you need to worry about protein when focusing on strength training?
Yes, bigger muscle= stronger muscle
@@Austindunhamfit oh ok. Thanks
Would love you and Russel Orhii to make a video together owo.
👍👍
hyper trophy bruh
Collab with Broly Gainz again and try his “Saiyan Requirement” workout. It’s insanely difficult
I second this
Strength training is crucuial....Look at Eugene Sandow and John grimeck....they could do what strongmen today do without the insane size
Strength all the way. Building muscle is great but as we age it all falls to the gut. Strength is consistent through the years regardless of size. IMHO
Hmm I've seen a lot of guys over 50, 60 who are in risiciolus shape muscle wise. Strenght is easier to maintain in my opinion because its not that much dependant on nutrition but hypertrophy and muscularity and low body fat is harder because if u want it u need to eat super clean but with that being said its possible to be in ridiciolus shape and low body fat even if u are very old but u must eat clean theres no other way around it.
@@distortion4222 I have to eat as clean as possible due to medical reasons. I was referring more to friends I have. I do have an intensive push up regimen. I'm almost 50 yet I have more overall strength than men younger than me. I should have been more clear. I dropped a lot of weight due to diet and push ups alone. The reason for the push ups is I can do them anywhere at anytime.
Say a bit more about the muscle going to the gut
@@thechosenone93 Over time it breaks down and while upper body gets smaller the gut gets fatter. Unless you're always in the gym. This isn't as much of an issue with people under 45 or so.
ngl bruh you selling yourself short, u got WAYY more gains to make!
Strength easily.
First !
Jesus Christ is King.
Fix ur beard bro
