I find it odd that there were no video cameras on the property considering the wealth of this family. Didn't Alex say they had received threats after the boat accident? All the more reason to have some security cameras, lights etc. Things don't add up. Also Alex claimed to be "detoxing" at the hotel the day before the murders but said he had pills in his pocket while being interviewed by police after the murders. I say guilty!

Yeah, I noticed that too...I guess they got more traits from their PaPa than their MaMa. Still, We never know how they are in private, or alone...when I lost my dad, I`d never cry in public aside from his memorial day, but when alone, I was fucked up from crying all the time, non stop. I think it might be a "guy" thing when dudes are younger, not sure...but now that I`m older (decade), I cry wherever, whenever it happens/ knocks on my door, whether it be wholesome situations, or kindness, sadness...But in my younger days, it would never happen on the outside, just on the inside.
Just wanted to share a different side about it, not defending Buster, but just merely stating the fact that there are other possibilities than just being out of emotion. (Buster seems to cry with his nose, just like his father- see the verdict for Alex, they zoom in on him, and he cry`s with his nose). It is clear to me, that Buster fights this emotion, so I would not say he is almost without emotion, be he seems outwardly to be unaffected by his emotions...I for sure am not going to be like most people and gaslight another person (just because "I" think "I" know it all)...

Of course my ex was also a narcissist and a sociopath, so this is how they think and how they treat people who they supposedly love (we were married 28 years). Any fault of their own isn't a fault...they twist it to make it that you're the one who's not normal. I see a lot of this behaviour going on by Alex in the interviews and now up on the stand. Total narcissist and sociopath. Everything is about them...everyone is out to get them...everyone does things TO them. My ex, when our son was younger, was convinced a nearly two year old child was doing things specifically to get him upset. As if a child, less than two, had the inner workings of psychology in order to do things to piss him off...other than our child was only two and this is how tiny children act. Duh. But, nope...it was always "why is he doing this to ME?!"
Also they act totally different with people around and when it's only family. Someone would have thought we had such a happy family because that's how he portrayed it to everyone else. I told people if they only knew...and they'd think I was genuinely joking with them as they couldn't believe my ex wasn't the greatest guy. He is working so hard to not unleash the narcissistic rage... One thing ASPD personalities hate is someone telling them about themselves and Waters would, if under some other circumstance, be skating on paper thin ice.
Ive had 10 years of Insanity, fights every single day over the most minute things...
No one can imagine how draining a break up like this could be and although he is hoovering and attempting to love bomb all over again, he is steady threatening to destroy me and "grind me into the ground." They don't know how to love therefore they don't know how to truly feel therefore they can play any PART that suits them but from the outside looking in, Mr. Murdaugh can't gaslight me ....I'm one step ahead of the game.

Buster may have been embarrassed not knowing his father’s birthday, but I didn’t get the impression that he was bothered by it in the least. That may be informed by my having heard the collect calls Buster received from his jailed father and what sounded to me like the somewhat dismissive and impatient tone he took in those conversations.
It’s almost like Alex, Maggie, and Paul were a three-ring circus and Buster was aokay and maybe even relieved being on the outside looking in.

No one is saying he is an angel. I certainly don’t know what he has or hasn’t done or been involved with. What I am saying is he most certainly is one traumatized young man. And to judge his reactions and/or behavior without acknowledgment of that trauma is simply shallow. I am not saying that if he was involved with a possible murder he should not be held responsible. He has been held to account for the cheating in law school and will be shamed for that the rest of his life. On the drivers license and purchase of alcohol . Well sorry to say that is not unusual. Not that it makes it right and there was horrific consequences. By the grace of God, we have not been held to account for the many stupid, destructive things we ALL did in our youth.
