Today at Speedy's Garage we're adding a bit of power to our Dodge Challenger Hellcat GoManGo with a Hellraiser pulley upgrade for the supercharger. I went with the 2.72 version for max performance and the decoupler tech built in that keeps the stress off the blower snout. This pulley is made by Litens who manufacturer the stock supercharger pulleys for the Hellcat, Demon, and Redeye.

Where did you get the “got boost” throttle body cover
I’ve got a 2016 scat pack 2018 shaker and I just bought a 2019 hellcat redeye what a difference with the red eye 😏💯👍

Man this car is killing me, I asked so many questions and never get a str8 answer I believe the cat I bought has a metco pulley on it, after removing the cap there is an “8” on the front side of it, but it’s running a stock belt which I just don’t understand. Why doesn’t metco mark their pulleys with size ? The belt is a 68207171AD. What does the 8 mean on the pulley? And can you run a stock belt with a 2.85 I’m lost right now

My tuner (Jay Greene) has already seen 9.90s on a 2.85 pulley in good DA (~ -100 to -400) and super safe tune. Thats my goal is to run a 2.85 on pump gas to the 9s. With race fuel it will be easy. Great video Speedy!

Do you keep the "got boost " billet cover on, love it and went online and looked fr it but they recommended not to leave it on. I would like your honest opinion. Thanks Sr.
I've never taken it off, but I did use a little double sided tape.

Have you considered doing a supercharger spacer?? Was thinking about doing it on my 15
Mine is running pretty good as is, no plans for a spacer for now.
O I believe ya lol..just Figured replacing the stock potentially problematic gaskets while lowering supercharger temp and making more power for minimal money is just a no brainer especially with a pulley change.

Will it fit on a hellcat redeye
What would happen if you put the supercharger from Go-Man-Go on the 4Runner?
It wouldn't fit as the 4Runner is a V6 and GoManGo is a V8, but if you could somehow get it on there the 4Runner would probably make less power as it takes about 100 hp to turn the Hellcat blower.
What’s that got boost thing
I think you should go ahead and spend the money for the gasket set! Any time you go into a roots blower , you need to replace the gaskets!
You can't (or couldn't) get individual gaskets when I did mine and the whole kit was $$$. Was better for me to re-use them and I've not had any issues in several years now. Have to be careful during removal/install though.

Mine had a shorter belt with the 2.72 pulley.

How much more power can you get with a pulley upgrade?
As much as you'd want I reckon. Figure about 20HP per pound of boost added.

Probably a stupid question, but why does the SC "hat" have to be removed? Can't you just remove the SC as a whole?
You have to remove the bolts that go through the hat to get the SC off.

Couple hours if I remember correctly. Pretty easy.

What belt do you use ?
The one that ships with the Hellraiser pulley.
@@SpeedysGarage The reason I ask is because I’m rebuilding a hellcat engine and it came with a 2.65 pulley and the green belt is very lose. I looked online for the diagram to make sure I have the belts connected properly and I do . So my only thought is maybe the belt is too big

You never installed the pulley and I'm searching around trying to find the video. No links to the next video. I feel cheated.
Which one adds more horsepower 2.85 or 2.72
2.72 if you're running the right fuel. On pump gas they'll be about the same.

Could never understand why people cant be happy with the stock hellcat HP and jeopardize a very expensive drivetrain
LOL, that was funny. Folks like me don't leave anything stock for long. When things break I just upgrade them. That piston/rod should have never failed, but is what it is. Car's kicking butt now with a 9.83 at 141 MPH in the quarter and we're just getting started.
