I totally agree with you. That’s why I felt like it was “The Best Jam~” for me. Some people disagree, mentioning about other jams, guitarists or technical stuff. It’s ok to disagree I understand but this whole experience, sitting right in front of these guitarist, including my mentor TE, was just amazing. Better than concerts✨
Today I'm getting older, when I was very young I wished to learn playing the guitar but my late father disapproved 'cause he said it was a waste of time, when my children were young I brought them two good guitars and pushed them to learn playing but they would have none of it. I still believe that playing an instrument is the most satisfying and beautiful pastime in the world and it's the only thing I regret in my life. Thanks for the upload, you've made my day.
Never say never. There's 365 days in a year. What if you just learned two things a week and practiced 10 minutes per day? What if your adult children came over for supper in 2022 and you laid down a solo for them without them knowing you've had this little hobby goin' on. Great for your mental health and a guaranteed family bonding moment like none other.
I’m 47 and have been playing guitar for 2 and a half years. I wished I’d started when I was 4. Learning and playing guitar has been the best thing in my life. Apart from having my children. I’m transformed into my special place every time I pick up my guitar. It does take time to improve though. But I’m loving the process. When I meet another guitarist, it’s magical to share our special bond with this beautiful instrument. ❤️
On a trip visiting my home state of NoDak. My friend Chris had found a guitar in the trash and I was playing it in his garage. Chris gave me the guitar and I took it home. Another friend heard me playing it and said, "here, play my guitar while I fix yours at home. He returned it in amazing condition. I played and played until the day I left for home. About 6 months later I returned to NoDak and my Luther friend gives me a 1967 12 String Framus (Flower Power Edition) Whoah incredibly amazing.. Now own 6 guitars and love to play, love to jam, it's never too late. This has all happened within within the last 1½ years. Always wanted to learn and never really tried until 48 yrs and now I'm 49 and by complete miracle I just brought home a 1959 Hofner 455 and sat down and watched this video. Never take time to comment on RUclips videos however this video was special and so are those commenting on it. I am blessed. I've fallen asleep with my guitar. It usually is the last thing I do at night and first thing I do in the morning. Never have guessed in a million years the impact nor define all the ways my life is better. All because my friend gave me a beat up guitar. Life is forever changed. Guitar provides a new outlet that truly is endless. Best feeling in the world having a good jam session. I hope a guitar comes your way soon. I still got that first guitar if you want it.
If I was in the circle: they would look at me and nod indicating me to take the lead and i would make that fart sound when you press between two frets.

Michael Henri James. Etherton .... thats very cool! Barney McKenna was honestly the best banjo player ive ever heard. The Dubliners were all individually really unique. But Barney was a very genuine nice normal guy, a very cool cousin to have 😎

Thanks art, music and friendship for helping me to stay relatively sane for all these years. No electricity necessary, but I’m glad it was used to capture moments like this.
Jerry Reed is often ignored, but Chet often said were JR to have focused his career on playing, he would have exceeded all others; he and Chet made an album together around ‘75, which is exceptional.
"VERY ACCOMPLISHMENT GUITARIST" TOMMY You have earned your Place in History, right along side of CHET... the Others you have Taught, Coached, they Too are Amazing.... Awesome Fellas...👏👏👏
Danny Beeler not really. He played rhythm bass line with thumb and tasteful embellished melody with fingers, but that’s not uncommon. Chet is called Mr Guitar and highly regarded, liked to include certain pickers as “Certified Guitar Players” like himself as elite. In reality, Roy Clark, Les Paul, Danny Gatton weren’t included by Chet, but were every bit as good and also could play anything they attempted.
This is the final boss of all jams and entry requires decryption. Just watch as one person is embellishing and the other 3 are still talking to each other. MASTERY
This was awesome! I used to jam with a band and there were some nights where everything came together perfectly and even we were impressed with how good the session was. I remember one night we played "Night Prowler" by AC/DC and it sounded so good while we were playing, we were all smiling and nodding to each other. Then at the end of it we all cheered and gave each other high fives haha. That night was awesome.........and so was this!
I love Tommy Emmanual! When it comes to acoustic guitar, it’s hard to find anyone better. Especially since he doesn’t read music. His brain must contain thousands of songs. And he brings so much joy in his playing.
After playing, discussing the tune, Tommy playing and talking about what chet did, had paused thinking of the alternative run and Richard just starts playing it, like right away, the alternate version, as I’ll call it🤯 The knowledge of Tommy and Richard is like the freaking internet sorry to the other to guys you’re great, but Rich and Tommy, I mean WOW, just WOW! Thank you!
That last bit after the song when they talk influences really captures the joy of being a musician. Not caring about 99% of the world labeling you as a nerd is one thing, and knowing that you share the passion with a small circle of fellow musicians that are still unknown to you. But once you meet up with them, life is worthwhile like you'd never imagine. Shared passion, that's what it's all about...

Yup
You most probably need a very special guitar player skills to take a Solo in that circle

@@costaliberta5969 Everything wonderful and beautiful on Earth was thought of in Heaven first .....including you. So please don't say things that aren't true. Be the good person God intended you to be. Jesus Christ has Good plans for you....but you have free will....so the choice is yours. ❤
@@DN-pn7rj get your facts straight mate, all that type of music is considered by your church to be heretic. dancing to it means you are possessed and indulging in it condemns you to eternity. like, instantly. so you are going straight to hell. sorry.
I had the exact same thought!
Thank God for the gift of hearing, these guys really make you aware of that blessing.
Those boys really know their chops
I love how Tommy welcomes the new player to the circle, such a gentleman 👍
I shouldn’t have shown my guitar this... I think she wants to leave me
This reminds me when i was younger in our house in ireland. My cousins always stayed with us when they came to my home town of Trim...... My cousins Barney Mckenna ..His Brother Sean Og..and Mickey Mckenna..Barney and His Brother Sean Were the best Banjo puckers in the world..And Mickey played 4 string guitar sweetest guitar picker ive heard ..Jazz .trad Irish the 3 of them playing Sweet Georgia Brown...The 3 of them now passed away . 😢😢☺☺
Michael Henri James. Etherton .... thats very cool! Barney McKenna was honestly the best banjo player ive ever heard. The Dubliners were all individually really unique. But Barney was a very genuine nice normal guy, a very cool cousin to have 😎
For a moment I forgot I was taking a shit and thought I was sitting on a chair right with them.
💩
Balla1989aus i wanna be friend with you
FilipWizard Done my good man.
Truly vile
Literally just happened to me
What!! no reverb , no distortion , no wah wah, ....... I appreciate the striaght picking SO MUCH!!! These guys are REAL musicians/geniuses!!!!!! God bless um
You can tell their happy when they play together, gotta love it
I've been playing 12 years and every one of these guys is on a level I've never been
So glad someone decided to film this and post it here.
Thanks art, music and friendship for helping me to stay relatively sane for all these years. No electricity necessary, but I’m glad it was used to capture moments like this.
Totally smashed it freestyling but only talk about how good chet was to write it afterwards! Truly humble genius☺
Jerry Reed is often ignored, but Chet often said were JR to have focused his career on playing, he would have exceeded all others; he and Chet made an album together around ‘75, which is exceptional.
@@commanderthorkilj.amundsen3426 my dad had that album and I heard it often. ❤
They say you shouldn't meet your heroes but I'll always cherish the moment I met Tommy Emmanuel
If only humankind could flow in parallel to gentle, innocent , wholesome music like this....
"VERY ACCOMPLISHMENT GUITARIST" TOMMY You have earned your Place in History, right along side of CHET... the Others you have Taught, Coached, they Too are Amazing.... Awesome Fellas...👏👏👏
The Dink Chet Atkins favored Jerry Reed as his favorite picker.
Better than Chet..
The Dink only thing is Chet could play all four parts himself 🤔
Danny Beeler not really. He played rhythm bass line with thumb and tasteful embellished melody with fingers, but that’s not uncommon. Chet is called Mr Guitar and highly regarded, liked to include certain pickers as “Certified Guitar Players” like himself as elite. In reality, Roy Clark, Les Paul, Danny Gatton weren’t included by Chet, but were every bit as good and also could play anything they attempted.
I’m over here like “wanna hear some smells like teen spirit?”
I've played for 34 years now and wish I could play along with these guys. But no way I could keep up. Awesome picking fellas
This is the final boss of all jams and entry requires decryption. Just watch as one person is embellishing and the other 3 are still talking to each other. MASTERY
No rushing, not a beat missed, just sweet beat and melody…whewww.
For once a BEST headline that isn’t a lie. This was so beautiful,
Grey Power. No substitute for experience. U guys are real awesome.
I wish we were one small family living in the country side happily. . it would be great❤️🖤❤️ loved this jam
I love Tommy Emmanual! When it comes to acoustic guitar, it’s hard to find anyone better. Especially since he doesn’t read music. His brain must contain thousands of songs. And he brings so much joy in his playing.
This is sooo great. No egos in this gang. I could listen to these boys all day. Fabulous!
After playing, discussing the tune, Tommy playing and talking about what chet did, had paused thinking of the alternative run and Richard just starts playing it, like right away, the alternate version, as I’ll call it🤯
The knowledge of Tommy and Richard is like the freaking internet sorry to the other to guys you’re great, but Rich and Tommy, I mean WOW, just WOW! Thank you!
Thank you to whoever captured this great jam on video for us to enjoy.
This might just be the most beautiful thing I’ve ever witnessed
That last bit after the song when they talk influences really captures the joy of being a musician. Not caring about 99% of the world labeling you as a nerd is one thing, and knowing that you share the passion with a small circle of fellow musicians that are still unknown to you. But once you meet up with them, life is worthwhile like you'd never imagine. Shared passion, that's what it's all about...
Landed on this whilst sitting on the throne and me legs have gone numb, I ain’t goin’ nowhere till I’ve seen ‘em all. Brilliant upload dude thanks.
i dont know why there's a smile on my face
Neither do I !!!
Awesome, no such thing as a mid life crisis- forever young, and forever having fun, love it******
How I love watching their left foot jam with their sound.Good job pops.
They just have such chemistry, you can see they know eachother very well, and have played together alot. This os awesome!
Pure entertainment. Tommy at his best, with other musicians. I wish it would never end.
This is just so enjoyable to watch. And they seem like such nice guys and all happy to be there. A great upload. Thanks!
The guy on the right is The famous highly acclaimed Aussie guitarist Tommy Emmanuel, and plays concerts all around the world.
@3:03 geezer in the white shirt absolutely shredding caught me off guard, came here to see tommy, but props to all these guys, brilliant
Geezer in the white shirt is Michael Fix, I could be mistaken but I don't think so. Search his Tocatta on RUclips ( hope I speller that right), he's a bit younger there but he rocks it.
They are all great. Tommy makes it look like a stroll down the lane. He’s phenomenal.
So fabulous😊Tommy is SO MUCH Fun to play with...he brings out something in everybody. Best Team Player Award. I love him MAINLY because music is supposed to be fun for everyone.😊 I will never ever forget the spirit with which Tommy Emmanuel played : it was always always Fun first and technically brilliant a close 2nd.😊
Get these guys into a Studio Pronto . I'll buy their Lp in a Heartbeat . Completely awesome !
No kidding!!!
Any idea how famous that guy to the right is? Look up Tommy Emanuel :)
