I hope she moves on with her life and stays away from that monster if he is ever released from prison
I am very grateful to be single, even though It may get lonley at times but I will survive.

I cannot believe the judgmental remarks about this remarkable intelligent woman, an amazing survivor who was abused and victimised, who just wants to get on with her life.
this whole interview comes off as a lesson in victim blaming

She's not that intelligent. She went against the prosecution in her husband's trial.
@@Cameraflyer-Correct. People who are abused are rather simple minded and overy trustful. Perhaps a better word is naive. Very, very naive. Abusers cannot abuse those not willing to be abused. People that join cults are an example of this type of naive people.

Yup was just going to say this. Remember watching the trial and she was in denial and now she’s writing a book about it. She was so confused back then and so in love that she was blinded. Thank God opened up her eyes to see it and lived to tell about it not many have that luck and to think he attempted it twice and she still survived. What a testimony!

Incredible how the investigators never gave up after she lied on the stand for him and had so much evidence that were able to convict him on the second trial WITHOUT her help.
No one believes that my husband who'd become an insurance agent, took a policy out on me attempted to unalive me. Two cars I drove, had tires that mysteriously flew off as I drove on the expressway.

It was very frustrating when she was being willfully blinded by love. I wanted someone to shake her and get her to listen to the truth.

So hard to believe that she actually lied on the stand to help that guy. She told the Jury that it was SHE that sabotaged the parachute and played with the gas pipe. But the authorities did not give up and had SO MUCH evidence, that they were able to convict him on the second trial WITHOUT her help.
exactly, I have no sympathy for this woman. She tried to sabotages all polices evidences to protect her killer husband.

I for one am extremely happy that she is not my parachute instructor, I thought that her biggest responsibility is to do safety checks before every jump?

The parachute system was sabotaged in a way that a regular gear check would not show what had happened. You would have to completely unpack the parachute to notice what had happened.
@@Cameraflyer- When you are placing your life on the line so to speak, you should always do your due diligence before every jump!
Victoria was clearly utterly in love with her husband who simply should have stayed single and seemed incapable of loving anyone.
He wanted her to stay as he knew he would never get a nice lady again .

Imagine having a 4 week old baby and deciding to JUMP OUT OF A PLANE.
That's what she did for a living
I think that was too much she needed to relax a bit. I wasn’t able to walk properly for like 40 days can’t imagine her jumping off and landing with so much force. I know her insides were hurting . A lot
My husband did that when our first child was born. Is that OK?
That she stood in court and protected him. She felt more embarrassed about damaging a perfectly good parachute and not about leaving her very young children without a mother. I have a problem with women like this. He is out sleeping with pros unprotected and you can’t see he does not care about you? Pathetic really.

Theres something wrong with this woman, even her describing hurtling to the ground sounds weird. Like at no point at all was she afraid? Not to mention living in denial for years even with glaring evidence in her face.
She went into survival mode when falling, and as a trained parachute instructor followed her training to survive. It's not weird, it's her experience.
And people can fall under someone's control, get love bombed, get manipulated into staying in a relationship, and they can be made to believe they are the problem rather than the perpetrator. She has referenced in other interviews he used to blame her for her concerns about him, rather than him admitting fault. There's nothing wrong with this woman, other than falling into the same trap countless other people fall into. Stop being so judgemental.
I don’t think that there’s anything at all wrong with this lady other than she has had the sort of nightmare experience…..hurtling to the ground without a parachute and suffering horrific, serious and painful injuries….and she has since also had to take in that her husband had done that to her!!!
I've lost control of a car on an icy mountain road, and I wasn't spooked until after. There was no space for fear, everything I had was focused on regaining control of the car. Maybe the right word isn't fear actually, I was probably afraid, but no panic. Just focus.
It's pretty common for emotionally abused persons to be in denial or sometimes they are just stuck/trauma bonded. Husband seems like a narcissit.
She was in the Army, she is used to withholding emotion and dealing with stress.

She was a Captain in the Army, she is used to showing no emotion and dealing with stress. How people deal with these things can be very different.

because she also want to fall from 3,000 feet to her death makes sense
I just seen this documentary and it is an amazing miracle she survived, however i seen her a very naive person she even visited him in prison, i really feel for her and her children, her husband was not trustworthy at all he just used her for her money a narcissist in my opinion
People who fall for narcissists are very, very naive. And narcissists are atracted to them like giant magnets.
