Have you heard of 'pulling a pig'? It's a game which involves a group of male friends going on a night out, attempting to pull the seemingly most unattractive girl. 24-year-old barmaid Sophie Stevenson was allegedly the victim of this cruel game when she met Dutch student Jesse.

Tbh it sounds like the guy actually did like her but all his friends made fun of him for it and he chickened out on meeting her again to look cool for his friends. It still doesn’t make what he did alright and it’s still awful for her but I don’t think it was premeditated I think the guy was a coward and rather than admitting he liked her pretended it was all a joke.

Being bullied it took me along time to understand that it was up to me if I let it effect me in the end. Sick and disturbed are those that find their self worth in demeaning others . This guy must feel like a real loser if he has to play games like this with his friends.

I so desperately wish I had been born in the 60's, whilst the men were still decent. Programs like Geordie Shore make this type of behaviour acceptable- and it isn't. I hope these men never have a daughter who is treated the same way
