She should not have custody of those children. A woman capable of what she did to her boyfriend is more than capable of doing the same to her own children.

    • @SuviMatinaro

Absolutely. The moment the kids would have been old enough to start distancing themselves from her it would have started to be dangerous for them too.

    • @kristinaLeeLee
      @kristinaLeeLee 5 месяцев назад +44

She should never be allowed to see them again. She did this in front of those children, so she should have had child abuse charges, and her rights to those children stopped away. Her goal was to hurt Alex the worst way possible, and going after his children and doing something horrific to them would meet her goal perfectly. I would not put it past her, and that's a scary thought.

Please guys, if you are being abused, reach out to someone you trust. Insist that your voice be heard by the authorities.

I'll never get the footage of the women literally sitting in bed beating socking . Hitting herself with things. To view that was so sick watching that, wanting to pin it all on the boy friend, they need to be prosecuted harshly. 👎🚫💯💔

    • @ScatteredPanda6453
      @ScatteredPanda6453 2 года назад +87

@@pinkpugginz I know it can be difficult to understand but there can be multiple reasons. 1. When an abuser abuses, they periodically show you love and kindness (false hope really) and you desperately await the return of that. 2) Fear. 3) R*pe and there is more reasons. Getting out of an abusive and violent relationship is one of the most difficult things a person can do. The amount of control and brain washing that goes into it, they literally change the way you think, the way you see yourself, they make you lose touch with reality, they give you fears you never knew you could have and at the same time they're pretending to love you, occasionally love bombing you too keep you going so they can abuse you more. They strip away your confidence, your identity, your sanity, they make you question your reality. Eventually your just a shell of the person you use to be and you give up. It becomes either you do as you're told or you get hurt, but even then, they will find any reason to abuse you, you could drop a spoon n that's it, then it becomes random, it's not even about you anymore, it's anything at all and you find yourself constantly waiting for the next attack. Other than this, another reason to stay is that so many people have been killed trying to leave abusive relationships and that is a very well known fact. Leaving is of the scariest and hardest things in the world. Also a fact. I hope this helps to answer your question.

And of course for some of those it was mum or stepmum who was the abuser, and nobody helped because of sexism.

My mother abused my dad….he NEVER raised a hand to her. But she would fly off the handle, throw dishes, whatever at him. She would punch him aggressively in the arm until WE, as small children would beg her to stop. She had a lightening fast temper. We never knew what would set her off. She would scream, yell…my poor dad never raised his voice at her. He drank. She screamed. I didn’t even know what abuse was, but I felt dad was unfairly picked at by mom. When she wasn’t ranting at him, it was us until he would step in and she would turn her attention to him. I didn’t realize at the time that he purposely distracted her from us. My poor dad. RIP Dad. As the daughter of an abusive mother, I appreciate that these stories are being told by men who are victims. My mother painted my father as the abuser (even blaming him for her abuse of my younger brother and I) when she was the abuser. Her abuse was mostly emotional, and I can remember my father crying and I was just a child and I was too afraid of her to go to him. Unfortunately my father mistakenly thought she would not abuse her children and since he was away a lot for work, he didn't witness it. The bullies at school were nothing compared to what we got at home. My parents split when I was ten. For years my mother poisoned my mind about my father and I didn't speak to him for years and only reunited with him and shared our stories when I was in my late 20s. Sadly he died within months. My mother is still alive decades later making everyone's life hell. You may say I don't have to be in touch with her, but try being a woman who doesn't speak to your mother and see how you get treated. People have sympathy for someone who had an abusive father, but an abusive mother - they think you are exaggerating or imagining it.

The only way to get out of it, is stopping relationships with the abuser. I feel so sorry that I didn’t do it earlier because my horrible abusive mother manipulated me times and times again into believing that she loves me. I would forgive her and open my heart again for her, and she would destroy me again. She would tell all relatives, friends and neighbors that I am a horrible person. She made it her mission in life. She isolated me with her relatives. My older brother, who was her favorite, doesn’t support me. She used to say to me that my brother was their love child, but she should have done an abortion with me. But I would rather not have any relationship with them than accept that I am not good enough and betray myself.
Yes, it is not easy, but it is the only way to survive. And this is what I suggest you do, SL Silver.

It's something you just can't explain or even fully understand, the whole "staying in an abusive relationship" part. I never in a million years thought it would happen to me, always said I'd never allow it, never tolerate it. Yet, there I was for all that time. Police, court, police, court, and there you are telling yourself it WILL change, it WILL get better. But it won't. It will only get worse. Thanks for your comment! Where is the father? I only saw a mom and a grandpa, in this story about Alex.
What I can see in these scenarios is young men who have no idea what masculinity is. If they knew how to be the “3 P’s” then they would not let their relationships get to that point. Men need to be manly, in their relationships, or their women take that roll and don’t know how to do it. It makes women crazier when their men don’t stop their crazy! If you love her then you won’t let her control you. Violence & Manipulation is never Love. The 3 P’s are: Protector, Provider, and Procreator. Alex needed the Public Authorities to finally be the protectors of that family. That’s terrible! Especially for the infant and toddler, who now have an incarcerated mother. Their troubles aren’t over. Alex’s mother doesn’t realize she treated him differently than his brother and sister. He was timid and insecure. Jordan, being a narcissist, took advantage of Alex’s weak personality. It’s just too bad that they became parents before they could fix their personality problems. The best solution for this family is for Jordan AND Alex to get psychiatric care and learn how to deal with adversity. They both have contributed to the demise of their family. I don’t know if Jordan can ever learn to feel empathy, but I’m certain Alex can learn how to be a real man. God allows bad things to happen because He doesn’t control us. If we pray, and ask Him for help, He will help 10 fold! My life is proof. I’m a stubborn woman, but I have a strong husband that loves me with the love of a protector. I thank God for him everyday.

All have done evil “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23) The penalty for sin is hell (Revelation 21:8). Because of Gods love for us Jesus Christ came down from heaven to take the punishment for our sin on the cross in which he was spat on, beaten, mocked and laughed at.
Christ died for the sins of the world and The third day God raised him from the dead (Praise God). This was done so that those who believe on Christ will not perish (hell) but have life everlasting (heaven); be justified by Gods grace through redemption in Christ (John 3:16) (Romans 3:24)
The blood Jesus shed on the cross washes away our sin if we Believe in The Son of God and his finished work (ordained by God) on the cross. When this happens the believer receives the righteousness of Christ in place of their own unrighteousness (all sins are forgiven) and this makes them saved (going heaven) .and they are born again as a Christian. (Romans 3:25-26).

And whenever my husband doesn’t act in the way I expect love to look like, that controlling desperation comes up. So I’m learning to deal with my fears instead of taking it out on him.

I was in a situation like this for about 7 years. The woman I was with tried to stab me a number of times, scratched my face numerous times, broke my things, constantly screamed at me, treated me bad and insulted me, cheated on me numerous times, poisoned me once that made me so sick that I was laying on the floor and could barely hear or stay conscious while she stood over me smiling and asking "What's the matter, not feeling good?" (once that I know of - they're may have more times since I would get sick a lot while I was with her), I rarely got sick before I knew her or after we divorced but while I was with her I seemed to get sick pretty often, she also stabbed my shoes and cut up my clothes with scissors and one time broke my thumb in three places. I stayed with her because I so badly wanted my family to stay together. When we finally separated and divorced I felt so relieved and happy and started healing from all the damage that had been done. My life became so much better after we divorced (not immediately but over a short period of time), I couldn't believe I was with her for so long and put up with such horrible treatment.

You poor pet, I can understand, I was beat up and I totally believed it was my own fault, like no doctor, nurse, psychologist, psychiatrist, nobody could tell me any different cause I didn't believe anyone else, I won't go in to everything cause I'd be messaging for age's and age's but when I finally, finally was away from him I could slowly see how demented and evil he really was and he could act so nicely around his family and friend's so noone could see what he really was. But a lot of times men in particular are not believed or made fun off cause they are supposed to be "the tough one", it's extremely unfair and they should be listened to before thing's get worse or people should really help even if they have to force the help to their friend or friend's that are in need. You went through a lot and for what, she was the evil dirty slut but with time people will see what they are really like and hopefully if not in this lifetime, in death they will get exactly what they deserve so make sure the next woman you are with, that she is actually nice and good to you, the first sign of her being any way horrible, get out and don't ever look back, ok

This young man was 10days away from death after systemic abuse for years, struggling to walk, repeatedly burned with boiling water poured on him, beaten, cut with knives, not given any access money or food. He was physically and mentally tortured in horrific ways and you say ‘he could have left but chose to stay’. He was frightened for his life and the life of his young children who he loves, isolated from all his friends and family and understandably terrified what his abuser might do should he tell anybody. You say ‘he could have left, but most women in the same scenario cannot’ is an absolutely vile comment to make. Maybe you struggle to accept women can be as abusive, but they can and plenty are, and it’s no wonder men are less likely to seek help and speak out with comments like this. At least watch the program absorb his story, and have some respect for this victim before you tell him and other male victims of DV that they are ‘choosing it’ SMH.

Of course, you do need to teach your kid that there are evil people, dangerous places and situations, but teach them how to recognize and avoid them, instead of telling them "you can trust no one". That's awful and your child will have problems because of you.

For your own sake, please look into narcissism, it can help a lot. Fair warning, though, there's a TON of useless gibberish out there, most of it from "professionals" who claim expertise they do not possess because science itself does not yet possess it. It has been ignored for too long. We have a case in the news now in the US that involves a man being murdered by his abusive girlfriend. If you watch the video of them in an elevator, it is shocking to see how abusive she was to her partner. It went on for a couple years and because he was so much bigger than her, nobody took it seriously. And now he is dead. We need to do much more as a society to take domestic abuse more seriously, that includes any gender and every relationship dynamic.

I was in a coercive relationship for 19 years, I drove to suicide and in the end I'd had 4 hospital and psychiatric admissions because of her. I lost everything because of it. House, job, my daughters, my self esteem. She controlled everything from my finances, my medication, to telling me what I could wear and how to dress. She isolated me from my family, my social circle was nothing, I had no friends, and the thing was, she moved her father in to the house, and he is just as bad. Now.....I'm trying to move on, and it will take some time. I'm still on medication, and I still have to see the doctor for reviews every now and again. Her love was measured in how she could belittle me, manipulate me, hurt me. One one veteran friends notified the emergency services on the night I had planned to go away. If he hadn't stepped in, I probably wouldn't be here now. It wasn't until I was in hospital that the nursing staff showed me which path I should tread if I want to see my daughters grow up. That said, the path I had the courage to walk is now without her, sure she still has a level over control over me through my daughters, but I've woken up. Its a very surreal experience as a guy to be systematically abused over such a long period of time, but help is there, just have courage to talk to someone. It'll be hard, but, with the right support, you will find life again....

Yes, always watch out for someone trying to isolate you from friends and family. They'll do it in slow and subtle ways, so my advice is to take stock where you are right now. Ask yourself, how are your relationships and interactions with family and circle of friends? Do you see them all regularly? Can they contact you easily and vice versa?
Also ask yourself, do you have a significant other or one particular friend in your life who you seem to spend a lot more time with? That in itself may not be wrong or harmful. But are they good with your family and friends - do they stop you from having enough time with your other friends and loved ones?

She was a narcissist and she used the abuse to control him. When his family said they were hoping she'd changed, I felt sorry for them. Narcissists don't change. Him staying is from trauma bonding. You cannot blame him for that. It is extremely difficult to leave an abuser because the abuser will act nice at times, making the victim think they will get the original person back (the person they met in the beginning). As he said, it's complicated but it is a psychological change to the person's brain. I'm so thankful he was able to leave her.

People don't realize how much we are manipulated in a very subtle way by evil that is around us.
How many have said j felt like something was pushing me to it ? There really are things that we can't see. They're being caught on camera by people everywhere now. It's something we don't think about. We don't know that it's real until we're in a situation like that ourselves.
We need to teach responsibility to kids at an early age so they will know instinctively what thoughts are theirs and what is a thought that isn't theirs, that doesn't feel right, that you don't want.
We don't have a good feel for that so we're easily fooled by thoughts that aren't ours but we just accept because they're there.
We need to teach kids that they can be pushed into things by something they can't see.
It's frightening but it's better than keeping quiet. That's how we get into things by not standing up to that first push. That initial urge to do or say something can happen so fast we don't really think about it. It's time to teach kids to slow down and examine what's happening inside of them. Explain about thoughts and feelings, and how we can easily go in a direction we don't want to but it's like we just get pushed into it.
It's more than just mental illness, it's what causes the mental illness. Evil is the root of these things, they are the causation of pain and suffering and it's high time we start facing the truth of the fact, evil exists and it loves to make us hurt.

This brought tears to my eyes. Male abuse victims are more common than ppl think. It took years for me as a female to realize the abuse I was suffering, after excusing it as love over & over again; so I can't imagine how easy it is for men to make excuses in those type of situations. I'm so glad she got what she deserved. We need more courageous men like Alex to come forward. And as a society, we need to pay it more attention so that they feel comfortable doing so.

I experienced my father being abused, noticed this terror from a very early age. Fortunately, his best friend was our local constable, who was also my godfather. One evening at the age of four I couldn't cope I pulled my younger brother away from her while heading towards the door I begged my father to join us, mother had also mishandled little brother, my father simply ignored the thrashing and continued cooking dinner while ducking the thuds. We quickly walked through the poring rain to the police station that was 1963. I rarely saw that woman thereafter perhaps on three occasions, the last time was on my tenth birthday where she spoke to me via my brother, although we were in the same room. She accused me of being "daddy's little helper".
Decades later, while volunteering within our community, a few males approached me to ask if I'd like to join their support group. I felt honoured being the first female, their experiences left me in tears during each meeting. It's so true, society conditions each other to look away from atrocities rather than stepping in to help, especially when the abused is an adult male.

      I agree with you completely.
Ab*se is incredibly complex. I experienced emotional ab*se from a partner, and even though I believe myself to be a strong-willed person, the manipulation by an ab*sive narcissist is something else. This feeds back into the ‘why didn’t you leave’ argument - it is not that simple. The manipulation, the fear, the abuse cycle - it’s confusing and breaks you down as a person.
Bless you, Alex. You are a strong, courageous man and I pray you are living your best life.

Domestic abuse is insidious, and it builds over time and creates a trauma bond. Abusers justify their abuse and do not take responsibility or accountability for their actions, under any circumstances, even when they are crying and saying how sorry they are, it's just to keep their target hanging on so they can feel in control of their target. Abusers are predators who deceive themselves and others. This man is very brave and it is inspiring to see his recovery.

This is a horrific story and follows a pattern of malignant narcissism. An abusive predator and a lovely trusting empathetic guy . but with no boundaries. A recipe for a toxic relationship where the victim is isolated critiqued gaslight controlled and in this case nearly killed by abuse of the worst kind. When a person is so browbeat and has lost sight of the reality of his situation he could never leave. Thank goodness for the Police officer who suspected the truth. Yes abusive women are rarer than men but many men do suffer from abuse. This was so extreme though. I hope he has had extensive counseling to help him recognize these people when he ever meets them again. They are out there and vulnerable kind empathetic people are always their targets. I wish him much happiness in the future. The children have escaped a life of horrendous trauma with this wo.en which would have left them with severe mental health issues for years. There are red flags all young people should be aware of when they are meeting possible partners. If it's all too good to be true beware. All that glitters is not gold.........

I have a sister who does things similar to this police had bn called you name it, she was almost put in 72 hour mental hold for things. and as well as abuse to my niece n nephew and mother.. but then she moved away, she chose the guy instead of her kids. I ended up with my niece and my nephew went with his father... but the thing was not only was my sister playing victim, she was also the abuser to even her recent boyfriends the one that she got really physical was why she moved, bc she didn't want cops involved due to restraining orders ect. Cause she would be in trouble too.. but to up and leave her kids was ridiculous we barely talk now because she and her newish boyfriend is all she cares for. And goin to party 24/7 ! But maybe one day she will grow up and me being years younger I grew faster, it just makes me wonder what is goin on in her head .. and just stop the nonsense..

For your own sanity and protection, please look into narcissism and narcissistic abuse, it can help a lot. Fair warning, though, there's a TON of useless gibberish out there, most of it from "professionals" who claim expertise they do not possess because science itself does not yet possess it. There's so much work to be done, brain/cognitive/psychological sciences are only just scratching the surface.
All narcs follow a pretty consistent pattern, however, which you will likely recognize as soon as you learn about it. Knowing and understanding that pattern is golden. There's a YT channel called HG Tudor, and although he's a bit over the top with dramatics and the like, he does provide a lot of invaluable insight.
