I hope that guy is never let out of jail, because her life would be in danger if he's out. The fact that the victim went against the authorities and lied for this man on the stand (she told the jury that SHE had sabotaged the parachutes and played with the gas pipe and not him) in the first trial, says how much control he had over her, and likely still does to some extent. The fact that they were able to convict him in the second trial WITHOUT her help, proved how much clear and obvious a mountain of evidence they had against him. Thank God the investigators did not give up. It's so hard to convict these abusers when the victims themselves refuse to accept the truth and help them in any way, and even go against them and actually help their abusers.

So we know nothing about the story behind the story (her real experiences). I couldn't watch to the end. Might I humbly suggest the interviewers do some research on how to conduct an interview?
It's horrible what happened to this woman. Unbelievable that people are capable of doing this to anyone at all never mind someone they supposedly "love.". I wish her all the best for the future.

Her husband took the parachute into the toilets, and when the jump was cancelled, instead of taking it back to get another one the next day, he kept the same one in his locker for her. Plus there's evidence he tampered with the gas supply in the house while her and the children were in the house.

The guest was there to listen to her story being told by other people.
As a skydiver myself, I tuned in to hear exactly what the malfunction was on the main parachute. She said, "It wasn't controllable", but that can happen for a variety of reasons. Did the husband unhook a riser? Pack it with a line-over? Details help.
She wasnt allowed to give details of anything. These people did way too much talking. They just neeeded to have given a few one liners to cue her in to what they wanted her to speak on, and allowed her to tell her story, but alas.
Remarkable lady. Bless you.
This woman is incredibly strong. ❤ I hope you can heal.
Why don't they stop interrupting her so she can tell her story is beyond me...
Why were there 4 women interviewing her?????
Amazing story. But within the first few minutes I was already frustrated that the interviewers were literally putting words in Ms Cillier's mouth.
I wish her all the best for the future.
so happy she has been able to move forward. I do wonder how the children are faring
I read her book, its excellent
There should be only 1 person talking but this was not case!😮 This lady has been blessed to survive. Thank the good Lord.
I'm so glad to see her so healthy and glowing. It shocked the world when this was on the world news, so I can't imagine how it felt for her to realise she'd married a psychopath. She was blessed by God the day she survived.
Only 18 years?? If he gets out, he'd better be on a watchlist or something!
They should have his picture up in every skydiving site in the country !
18 years minimum. His sentence was life imprisonment.
I wanna know how they pinpointed it back to her husband?
There’s a documentary about this case on Netflix.
One of the men in charge of the parachutes noticed it was tampered with and called the police I read somewhere.
Her husband took the parachute into the toilets, and when the jump was cancelled, instead of taking it back to get another one the next day, he kept the same one in his locker for her. Plus there's evidence he tampered with the gas supply in the house while her and the children were in the house.
@@SuzLa1 So he didn't care if he killed his own kids? What a psychopath.
This is an actual miracle story!
'So admire her in getting through such an ordeal & now looking great and finding contentment permanently, I hope and trust. All the best to her. 💓
The hosts talked so much it was hard to follow the story and get a sense of what this woman has been through. Epic fail.
Have never seen this show before … the old lady in lime green and bad red wig is enough to keep me from ever watching it again.
So you need everyone to be a super model, is it? 🤔 There’s a word for that.
So, it was necessary to be mean? Hope the universe doesnt use whatever description there is of you, to send you bad karma. It would have been just as easy to leave the meanesss out of your comment, as it was to put it in, so we know what type of person you are.
Gosh how traumatic! I can see a little sadness in her eyes which is to be expected. Thank God she is alive.
He was gaslighting her. I wouldn’t keep his surname.
Some divorced moms want the same name as their children.
@@ahill4642 I have seen a sibling of 4 when their dad cheated on their mom, I think two of them kept their father's surname and the other took their grandpa's surname. Then their mother remarried so she has a different last name.
@@lilynaw3767 Why on earth not just use the mother's maiden name, or even that of her mother's? It's not the 18th century....and yet it still is in many ways.
Thank you for being alive
I never liked to make negative comments, but this interview could’ve been so much better.
This is why I listen to podcast, always feel these stories have so much to say and on television they just want sound bites.
