I have no idea why I said the jewelry store in the beginning was supposed to be in Detroit, I'm well aware that it was supposed to be in Beverly Hills. That was a total brain fart and I can't believe I didn't catch it. I will edit that part out. Thank you to those of you who caught it and brought it to my attention
I own the Beverly Hills Cop 2 video store movie standee from 1987. It still looks new. Beverly Hills Cop 2 is my favorite out of the 3 movies. I'm strongly looking forward to seeing Beverly Hills Cop 4.
saving to watch this later. You know it's going to be good, Kurt lays it down and provides some of the best details in all of his filming location videos. He's the reason I started watching CHiPs. I should sign up for his patreon.
Eat the floor....Bloody fantastic Kurt def one of my favourites of yours, What I love about your filming is that you go above and beyond to every little attention to detail. Not just showing us then and now. Ie..how taggert runs away and then towards the same building ect. It's things like this that really make it all worth while. I actually think the Bev hills cop 2 was the best out of the 3, the soundtrack is flawless on its own. I love bev Hills one, but 2 is miles better imo. Absolutely brilliant as always, and I am looking forward to the next one
Amazing thank you! I had no idea the Hollywood museum was the opening scene! I've been there a few times. That just blows my mind. Thank you for this incredible video 😊
It's one of my favorite YT channels. I love LA, I love 80s and I love movies. Great vlog with BHC 2. Regards ✌️✌️✌️ PS I'll give you a gold medal Bro if you figure out the foot chase from Point Break. I'm analysing this since a long time and I can't figure out. Think it's somewhere in Hermosa or Redondo alleys but still I'm not sure.
Out of all the times I've been to Beverly Hills since the last movie was filmed, never once did it cross my mind that Axel Foley would come back... The new trailer tripped me out.
Another great vid! I remember seeing this one in the theater as a kid. I think for that reason growing up I always liked 2 more than 1 (even though both are so great). Part 3... well... Hopefully part 4 is going to be good.
Thank you for making this video, about Beverly Hills Cop part 2, I was already addicted to parts 1 and 2 as a child, first several times in the cinema then on VHS video and I got a a few years ago, a limited numbered special DVD box with DVDs license plates soundtracks, game I have cleared out a lot of DVDs but this box is in the display case, I can't wait until Netflix puts Beverly Hills Cop 4 online so I can see Axel Foley again with John Taggart and Billy Rosewood. Greetings From the Netherlands
Nice video. A little bit of added trivia for you: At the end of your video, when the homeowner shows up as Eddie is leaving, that's Richard Tienken,Eddie's former manager and the one that discovered him.Passed away in 2021.
Kurt howdy, at approximately the 14:15 minute location of your video ...also referred to as Piper Tech, LAPD, City of LA Construction Dept. As always a great video presentation Thank you
Love your nostalgic and fun videos……..they really take me back and since I was a teenager lucky enough to grow up in the 80’s (best decade in the whole wide world👌😂), I was fortunate to see most of the era’s big films at the cinema and the odd few on VHS…….from the ‘mobile video guy’ with suitcases full of badly recorded copies! By the way, I know it was a 1990 release, but it was filmed in 89’ I think) and I’m hoping you enjoyed it enough to one day making a location video of one of my favourite films, The Adventures Of Ford Fordlane……, please, thanks Kurt👊
The 2nd one is better because it went balls to the wall insane 80's 😄 Of course this was possible because the 1st one introduced all the characters. I love the 2nd one, fluorescent galore 80's madness 😄
ripper content as per usual Kirk!! since you love good music and are a man of taste i'll recommend a somewhat on topic song: "it never rains in southern california" by albert hammond. its something special. also "skinhead girl" by symarip. "54-46 thats my number" by toots and the metals. last one: bobby brown is going down by zappa (lols)
Great entertaining video, as usual. Small note: it is called a concrete truck. Cement is the powder that is mixed with aggregates to make concrete. Cement by itself won't last long...
Great to see some of my old stomping grounds in Pasadena used for the movie. I remember them filming a movie at Pasadena City Hall just before I moved out of state, so I am guessing it was this movie since it was filmed between November of '86 and March of '87, and I moved out of state in Feb. '87.
Hola.soy de.argentina mar del plata y me gusta tu canal .queria saber si tenes alguna idea de hacer algo de donde esta donde filmaron desviacion vankelvania .gracias y saludos excelente canal.
Have you done a filming locations for "Lost Angels" great 80s flick with Donald Sutherland and Adam form the Beastie boys. Set in Los Angeles. Surprised I haven't seem it yet from you.
Awesome! Nice midi/keyboard "Shakedown".. do you risk getting demonitized/flagged.. or since it's not the original you don't have to worry about it. Also noticed the drone footage of the oil field. I'm assuming it's illegal to fly one in Beverly Hills.. or like over houses there? Can you even fly one over the street in those areas? Woulda been cool to see the pool in the back of that mansion. Thanks for another great video!

No worries Kurt. Just keep pumping the gnarly vids out
Any chance you could do collateral?????
You cover so much content it's bound to cause the occasional brain fart 😂 Great video
Good job, Kurt!
Amazing how that house is still under construction 30 years later.
People wanna live inside a donut, let them live inside a donut.
I liked BHC 2 way better than the first one. Looking forward to this video.
Same
Feel the same way
I felt the second movie was a bit darker than the first, not sure why. Maybe it is more violent?
Ditto
Me too!!
I've driven past the oil fields a million times, and every single time I have, I think of this scene and that cool music.
Thank you so much Kurt! Ack-well Foley fan from NZ.

Nice! Part 2 was one of the earliest films I remember seeing. I was just jamming out to Shakedown by Bob Seger the other day haha
You are cool man! I loved this. Some of the worse people that I have ever met in my life work for that horrible industry. Go Skate!
Great job as always!

Great location video, Kurt! I'm hoping the new BHC 4 will be a return to form for Murphy and the remaining cast.
Loved it. Amazing job. So interesting and entertaining to see where all that took place.

Very well done. This was great thank you.
Great entertaining video, as usual. Small note: it is called a concrete truck. Cement is the powder that is mixed with aggregates to make concrete. Cement by itself won't last long...
Legendary I watch it every time it comes on
Hopefully you get the chance to do the filming locations for Footloose. It's the 40th anniversary. Thanks for sharing.
