- Nigel West Dickens, or Mr. Dickens, "The Bat Oil & Piss Salesman" in red dead redemption is one of the more colorful personalities within the red dead redemption games. Unfortunately he did not return in red dead redemption 2. But, he was alive the last time we saw him. Maybe he could make another appearance in Red Dead Redemption 3?

I'm playing the first red dead right now, just finished the fort Mercer mission. He's an odd ball, but his missions were fun.
I'm doing the exact same, he's quite the character
you're gonna love this game, i just finished my second playthrough the other day
@soharp I'm excited to see Javier and Dutch again. I played the sequel and fell in love with the world and characters. I'm in Mexico now, just did the first Landon Ricketts mission and a few of the DeSanta missions. So far, so good. I do wish there was more of a continuity with John's personality. but I really like both versions of him. For the time it came out, my god is it better than I thought it could be. RockStar's games really do age like wine
Nigel West Dickens is a very entertaining character, but it is pretty cool that despite being one of the sleaziest characters in the game he kept his word and turned his wagon into a tank so John can have a better chance against Bill
Graphically rdr1 still looks surprisingly good.
“You’re trying my *patience,* Mr. West - Dickens.”
Mr Dickens lists ailments that his elixers cure... but can it cure Lumbago?
Mr dickens is one of my favorite characters. Loved the missions with him in it
I actually think Nigel’s an alright person. He helped John significantly and never betrayed him. Also it’s ironic that John criticised him for his ways of conning people when two of the people he respected most in his life were”master con men working their magic.” But come to think of it, Redemption 2’s events may have given John a distaste for that sort of business because of how many people got killed during the Rhodes chapter for nothing and it attracted a lot of attention, same as when Nigel tried to con people, though his elixir actually works.
His elixir doesn’t work
Difference is, those two con men raised him and did more than just scam people out of their money. They were not good men, but are not comparable to Nigel.
His elixir doesn’t work at all, the only reason John performed so well is because of his own skill, if he didn’t drink the elixir he still would’ve made every shot and beat up the ranch hand
I friggin love this game. It's one of the first that brought me back into gaming. I was born in 1979, so I was gaming back with Nintendo and all that. But once the PS2 began to fade out I kind of dropped it for about ten years or maybe more. But in about 2013 I went and got a PS3 and a bunch of used games and this was one of the top on the list. And oh boy it did not disappoint. I got this, Black Flag, and GTA4, and also Arkham City. And all of them sucked me right back in. But this one really got me.
Thank you for uploading another awesome video man!
I like how he lists Lumbago as one of the things he can cure.
If only he met rdr2 uncle.
Great video on the swindler. Would love to see a video on Seth next. I think he's my favorite of the weirdos that help John, and interestingly, he seems like the one John is the nicest to. John rarely tries to threaten or intimidate him like he does with WD and Irish.
I actually already covered Seth. Its been a while. At least a month or so
They should remake rdr1 tbh
I always kinda liked and disliked nigel mostly because of those fucking flowers
I know this is unrelated but I wanted to tell you guys a theory I have about undead nightmare
Disclaimer: this is assuming that John and Arthur dies in a high honor state
The theory: John and Arthur will eventually go to heaven because of his good deeds however they still need to atone for their sins and undead nightmare is the way John atones for his sins so he’ll have to spend how ever much time as undead marston until he goes to heaven however time works differently there like in the good place with jeremy bearimy and the same goes for Arthur,Hosea,Lenny,Sean and more
Tell me what you think about my theory do you think I’m right or wrong.
Well, you could say that undead nightmare is like John's purgatory.
@@genesectdavis ye that's my theory
@@chancellor1055This kinda proves your theory right ruclips.net/video/HIrx_SeCBPo/видео.htmlsi=IAtbVzDJHCrTvYSn
I know this is long but please read John and Arthur will eventually go to heaven because of his good deeds however they still need to atone for their sins and undead nightmare is purgatory for John he’ll have to spend how ever much time as undead marston until he goes to heaven however time works differently there and the same goes for Arthur,Hosea,Lenny,Sean and more
You do know RDR2 is a prequel right? NWD isn't in the prequel
Yes, that doesnt mean he couldn’t have made some type of appearance in some way shape or form. He’s older and a travelling salesman. They wrote in Bonnie Macfarlane’s husband and i think he was substantially more insignificant
Plus, Arthur could have met him without consequence.
The first game had a creepy tone to it. Total contrast to the second. First makes me kinda not like the second as much.
Gonna admit that Mr Dickens is kind of annoying ngl
Bro is me
