I don’t think he’s detached from reality at all simply too beaten down and desperate to get the chance of functioning normally. His mercy to Moses shows a remaining moral compass.

Im a recovering addict, ive been clean for 3 months. I self medicated due to the meds I was prescribed never helper. Now whenever i feel down just say out loud: "GLASS AAHHH!?! ITS A GLASSSS AHHHHH. A GLASSSS AHHHHHHHH!!!!" and i automatically feel better.

I have never ever heard Arthur Morgan say "FUCK" in Red Dead Redemption 2, except in one scene, I think it's when Arthur and Javier go to rob that Chez Porter family up north and while they're placing themselves into position Arthur says: "Fuh, you just keep selling me on this." But he doesn't say the word "FUCK" completely. I think the voice actor Roger Clark stopped himself before he pronounced the word fully.
The fact he has a character model in RDR2 is a clear indication they planned to bring him back one way or another.

the reason they dont say "fuck" that often in RDR2 is because it's a fairly historically accurate game, not because it's ""woke."" folks didn't go around swearing back then the way they do now.

RDR2's supporting cast couldn't hold a candle to RDR1's.
Disagree, RDR1's side cast is significantly less developed than RDR2s.
Well its because the side characters are so good in RD2 we call them the main cast.
I've always felt more passion and humanity behind the strangers in rdr1, in rdr2 the stories and connections are far more fleshed out but very rarely do I feel the same passion showing through the side characters, it feels like all of that passion went into the main characters and the side ones just had more connection to the world rather than a personality.

I know that there is a Ped model for Seth in RDR2, but I don't think you can actually run into him at all? Could be wrong though? Not sure.
People can deny it, but RDR2 is "woke" which is way it feels so stripped back. Lacked the authenticity of the settings in favour of trying to reel in more demographic. I miss it when Rockstar weren't afraid of portraying grittiness and vulgarity.
It didn't lack authenticity, you were just a white male so you didn't face much discrimination. People can deny it, because that is objectively correct.
RD2 was about as authentic you could get, as many outlaws weren't "God fearing Men who believe in traditional values and Culture" they didn't give much of a fuck about what you looked like, it was the government that wouldn't let you join their gang not the other way around. Just say you hate the fact that Red Dead 2 doesn't show America as the land of the free and it was always that way there was no "freedom", or was it the way they portrayed what we did to the Indians correctly. Or is because a group of outlaws who need all the guns and bodies they can didn't really care much about what the individual looked like or where you were from so long as you could shoot and pull weight and it was actually the "good guys" who did that. again historically accurate. Just curious on the game that has torture, murder, rape, vulgarity(Legit everyone besides Arthur says fuck all the time so), etc is "woke and soft". History isn't for everyone they still make John Wayne movies that are "Rah Rah bad guys are bad good guys are good and WE ARE THE GOOD GUYS" as for the rest of us we can handle it.
