A plan so good that Dutch himself couldn't pull off
This is what happens when no one ratted out, similar to Cornwall assassination, those missions went as smooth as possible rdr standard.
It's funny that I'm pretty sure every main heist that doesn't involve Dutch turns out somewhat smoothly.
The stagecoach with Micah
The train in Chapter 2
The Valentine bank
the poker boat heist@@bro-be3bd
Bolt action rifle robbery
Rhodes Bank
and basically all stagecoach missions
Dutch could have done it if he just had some money
Funny how smoothly things can go when Micah’s not around
Funny how Bill finds out about Sonny, the married brothers and this bank job. Man is at least very well informed
Karen actually was the one to find out about this bank job. She even first brings it up in the Valentine mission with her and the other girls.
At least with the Valentine bank robbery. You get to keep your share of the money. Saint Denis robbery all the money gets lost on the boat.
Earned a nice little 1.5k off that bank robbery in valentine and now I'm sitting at a comfortable 8.5k as Arthur in chapter 3
@@IINC0RRECT fantastic. I'm sure you did all the available gold bars during chapter 3 aswell.
They had enough to leave Dutch was just greedy
@@ltsMotionnah Dutch was an anarchist who wanted to stay an outlaw, he never wanted to stop
@@CatchTheMarmosets exactly and Arthur was too blind to see it since dutch is the biggest con artist in rockstar history
There's actually a third Bank robbery with Charles and uncle
Only if you have the special or ultimate edition of the game
@Hulksson_08Chill bro lol
@@carter2.005 yeah
@Hulksson_08 chillll
Well i got lumbago
If you don't blow the safes on the valentine bank robbery, you walk out there's not even a fight except to get away, if I remember right..
When I played it recently I done it quietly and stealthy and there was no gun fight and only a few shots fired by sheriff when we got to horses
nope, its scripted for a random guy to pass by the bank and see the robbery once the gang is out
@@kindertak5396 mothers life I didn’t get caught until end when on the other side of street to sheriffs must be a bug
I like the mission but it broke the games economy imo after this point you can afford almost anything no problem which makes you do less outlaw activities by your self, the gang has all this money kinda breaks the story it honestly should have been a smaller take and later in the game so you keep the feeling of having your keep coming up with money if you wanna upgrade the camp and buy new guns creates the gta 4 problem money can’t be spent after a point
Actually hunting for all the pelts will break the economy. I made 2k+ and got almost ever gun for free before the third chapter. Not to mention the treasure hunting
I always make sure to donate a large sum of it after this mission
Dutch did congratulate everyone after it was finished but then after that it wasn't mentioned again
The shootout probably isn't as outrageous as usual because the game locks you out of all but your most pathetic weapon until you get back to your horse.
There's no such thing as pathetic weapons, just poor aim.
@@kaydens6964 exactly
Well you are supposed to make it stealth which leads to not shooting in Valentine at all
I wonder if Bill wouldve sided with john and Arthur if he was treated better by them.
I truly believe so, maybe Bill wasn't very close with John but he definitely had esteem and affection towards Arthur, he even defends Arthur when Micah is mocking him for his cough
Every time Bill says "oooooh, it's just one of those things" I laugh lol
Uhh when I did the Valentine bank robbery I just cracked the safe and we got out clean (law noticed and chased after we got to the horses but no actual shooting if you leave fast) and of course Bill bragged about his plan going so well.
That robbery was just one of them things.
A really good documentary channel about my favourite game what more can i ask for
Love your vids keep it up bro!
i robbed this and pretty much lived on the money from it for the rest of the game
Bill gets treated like a clown 🤡.
Poor Bill
And yet he’s a better planner than Dutch
@@Reaperleviihow Karen planned the bank job not bill?
@@marcning918 Aww what nvm he still a dumbass
Can you make a video about what chapter is the best to as Arthur while he is still healthy?
Underrated
So how was Valentine Arthur's fault?
It's not it's another example of bill being an idiot and not understanding simple things. Cornwall was looking for Dutch. Even if you try to factor in it's because the gang made too much noise in town. It was bill who starts the fight that can be blamed for that.
Hi Cynic!👋
@cynic if i could kiss you i would
😏
@@CynicGTA i am so serious you do a great job trying to understand each characters role within the game, their mindsets, the role they have amongst each other, the different personalities rdr2 is a fantastic game i just don't like how this franchise wasn't given the same treatment gta 5 was given for me i think rdr2 would have been a waaaaaay bigger & better game since rockstar would have added more stuff too it but in reality they don't the gta seris is rockstars baby so it gets to be treated as such
Me too I’d passionately make out with him
Love Downes’ son having balls enough to hit Arthur back with a threat of his own even if it was a weak threat
Uncle, bill and (somewhat) Lenny were under-utilised as characters and had a lot of potential
Lenny & Sean? Yes. Bill and Uncle? I highly doubt that given how the game makes the point that they're pretty useless outside being a meat shield or offering perspective.
Man did the women in this game got the wrong end of this deal.
Uncle and Bill? Red Dead Redemption 1 doesn't mean anything to you?
@@iceluvndiva21I mean, they were women in the late 1800s lol what do you expect from them? They literally weren’t even allowed to vote😂😂 kind of insane to think about how they were looked at as lesser than men…it wasn’t even that long ago…
Javier was under-utilised as a character I think
pretty sure they had enough money from this to go to tahiti
They did
They did
They did
They did
They did
You know that bank robbery in Saint Denis could have been succesful too if Dutch hadn't killed Bronte & the rich family in Rhodes just made too much unecessary noise.
No, it still would've gone wrong because Molly informed the Pinkertons of the robbery. That's how they were able to capture Hosea.
You are right though, Dutch should've just stuck to working with the Grays and avoided the Braithwaites. As for Bronte, Dutch would've HAD to kill him after the bank job or else he'd start funding the Pinkertons and sending his own men after the gang
@@VeraVemaVenadid u even finish the game Molly didn’t actually rat out the gang
@@maxbaker6220 yes I did. It's a stupid theory, but not an impossible theory.
When you're riding out of Valentine and being chased and that music start playing, it's... magical. I always recommend the dynamite route just so you can have the gunfight and it transfer more organically to the chase across the Heartlands.
And money essentially becomes a non-issue after this mission, so there's that lol
I must be slow because i get the gun fight without the dynamite (only on my first play through i didn’t get the gun fight with out dynamite)
You deserve more then 3k subs!
Bearded Arthur always looking kinda off lol
no not deserve
I find it interesting that the most profitable robbery for Arthur is immediately followed by the Downes' debt sub-quest.
There's no room for happiness.
Never get why after this hit the gang doesn't have enough money, definitely would've gotten them somewhere or allowed them to loan the rest of the money on this farm or ranch they all wnated, obviously assuming they went somewhere where no one knew their crimes etc
bro that dialogue at the start makes me angry af arthur got in trouble but it had nothing to do with him and everyone seems to see it different
yo sorry guys next time ill sniff that cornwall will come up and want something from DUTCH
The thumbnail has meme potential
😏
Ho e l ess
I think this is really big for Bill's character development. Everyone calls him an idiot, but by 1911, he proves to be New Austin's biggest criminal threat. This shows just how capable Bill was in 1899, and we can infer that his skills only got better over the years.
Bill is an idiot they clearly show that across the whole story. The fact that he had the gang in 1911 is why he's on the hit list. All it toke to break his gang was a grave robber and a snake oil salesman. How is that a positive demonstration of his skill. Bill is an idiot his entire existence.
@marcning918 bill literally shit his pants in the game 😂
Bill costed Sean's life
Made Tommy angry and caused the bat brawl in camp all he does is sleep and drink I once found him stealing from the box he's a scumbag
Underrated
what was that mission at 1:34?
Fleeting Joy
The Rhodes Bank Robbery was pretty successful too
Only on the special ulimate edition.
I swear that you get only about 100 dollars for doing the whole thing
