Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This RUclips channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

Everyone wants to talk about how you're changing the game for the worse, and not only do I disagree with that, but maybe the game needs some change. I'll be honest, I wasn't the biggest fan of yours for a long time, not that I disliked you of course, but after watching the videos you did with the Good Good guys, your RUclips channel, and especially this podcast I can honestly say I'm a huge fan now! Watching you especially in the Good Good content was a real treat, and I don't think anyone could watch those videos or this Rick Shiels Golf Show podcast and have one negative thing to say unless it's out of jealousy! Haha. Thanks for going on the podcast as it was incredible to hear your side of the truth! Good luck this season, Bryson! Go get'em!

I'm somewhere in the middle if you can tell, but overall I like Bryson and he gets people talking about golf which is always a good thing.
Edit: Also just remembered that he doesn't always come across as humble in his interviews. Like saying his Cobra driver sucks on public TV (they pay your bills bro) and saying Augusta is a par-67 for him and then struggling to make the cut.

Amazing! One of the best. most candid and inspiring interviews of a PGA player I can remember. Pros like Bryson understand that there is a counterculture in golf, and the best way to reach them is through content producers like you both. Well done!

This was extraordinary! Mad respect for Bryson for just talking so openly, being down to earth and actually taking the time to interact with his fans and audience. You don’t see that from any other tour pro. Especially if your bounce back from such scrutiny and having the guts to let people in and showing them the real you. Would love to see you collaborate and make what’s obviously going to be amazing content!

Bryson starts a RUclips channel to more directly connect with fans and make himself accessible. He routinely has average normal people on his channel and plays golf with them and treats them awesome. He embraces ppl like Rick and comes on their platform realizing their value and impact on golf. Meanwhile Brooks Koepka sits in the corner with a frown on his face and pre-emptively kicks Rick out of a VIP section at St. Andrews. Bryson is so much better of a human than Brooks in my opinion. Admittedly I don't know either of them, I'm just judging based off their actions. Bryson seems like a flat out awesome guy every time I see him, and Brooks comes off as a prick.

I have been a subscriber to Bryson's channel for a while now, and I have been impressed with not only his work ethic in golf but also his knowledge about the game too. He definitely works hard on his game and I actually had the pleasure of seeing him play in the Hero World Challenge on the Albany course in the Bahamas in December. I wish you all the best for the season this year Bryson and hopefully you can come up with a Major win.

Absolutely loved LOVED this podcast. I was already a fan of Bryson, for how different he approaches golf and his impressive distance. After seeing him in the flesh at the Northern Trust, I was even more impressed. But this was amazing, thank you for being so honest and open to telling your truth.
Never easy to do things differently, but always inspiring to see someone succeeding doing so.

Amazing podcast with Bryson!! Kudos to Bryson for coming on the podcast and answering some really good questions about how he approaches the game of golf. I've always thought the media was unfair to him at times. Bryson handled that last question very well as to what he was thinking at the time his shot went toward the crowd, didn't yell "Fore", makes perfect sense. Thank you Bryson for being on the podcast and Rick for setting it up!!

I'm happy that I got to know Bryson's personality more through YT rather than watching mainstream footage of him. I didn't even know what his projected persona was from TV outlets and media coverage. I picked up more on his YT channel and collaborations. I love this guy. Thanks for the great interview and content, Rick!

I started using more of a one plane swing with my driver last year and found it freed my swing. I got some pretty good consistency. I haven't quite figured it out for my irons, especially the short ones. But, I love watching Bryson and how he experiments and tinkers.

What a great conversation. I like the guy the more I see him "off the course" in a professional setting. His channel, with the Good Good Crew and now here on your golf show. He's down to earth and committed to improving his game without being a tool. BTW...been a sub of your channel for years and it is fantastic to see you crushing it! Congratulations on surpassing the 2M mark.
