      He's always been a genuinely good guy, but the golf media had to paint him a certain way so people wouldn't have a bad taste in their mouths when they made 3 rules changes to limit his preferred tools and advantages. I have followed Bryson for some time because hs theories on the game of golf made so much sense. 2 years ago I started using single length irons and I changed the weights and shafts on my woods and hybrids so they were as close to each other as possible. I also worked on the single plane swing to make things more simple. The results have been pretty good. I went from high 80's low 90's to high 70's low 80's. The only thing keeping me from shooting lower is my putting. My next step is the arm lock putter. The funny thing is that people on the course make fun of me and my clubs but alot of them can't beat me. I would like Bryson to know I appreciate all the help

    • @pskay
      @pskay 5 месяцев назад

      Could you share what his theories are regarding Woods and Hybrids and their lengths and weight? Obviously his irons through upper wedges are single length, but I do not know much about his approach outside of that.

      “But that's only with your ‘A’ game, and I should have rephrased that; if you have your ‘A’ game, there's a good chance of being able to do that,” DeChambeau said. “Long story short, I don't want anybody to take it out of context. I'm sitting at my desk and feeling AMPED. After only 5min in I already wanted to run through a wall. I want Bryson hyping me up in a speed session! This was incredible.

    Loved this video! Have enjoyed all the videos with Bryson. He really comes across as someone who is passionate about the sport and the mechanics of the golf swing. And he just seems like a good dude/bro to be around. His teaching is pretty damn good too, and that's not an easy thing to do!

    Hope it doesn’t make you worse Rick, distance isn’t your problem, it’s your wedges and short game, work on that!! It’s not a long drive comp!!

    Respect Rick for linking-up with Bryson. I’ve watch all your colab’s, which have shown how cool Bryson is and how well you guys get on👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
    Some TV golf pundits were very disrespectful towards Bryson. Most forward thinking golfers appreciated his new and scientific approach to golf and his hard work he put in to gain driving distance...
    Stay Blessed 💕🙏🏽

    Loved this video. Such a depth of knowledge Bryson you are an amazing coach (bringing out the best in others) and mentor (showing and telling how you do it) and athlete. And Rick, I felt like I was swinging with you on every swing... Wow. I learned I need to get a bucket of 100 balls at the range and Be Like Bryson. I have never gone that hard in a session - got it now - BIG THANK YOU! I Fascinating video on so many levels.

    It's funny to me how many people online struggle to get past 200-220 yards and refuse to believe me when I tell them to slow down the top of their downswing. They won't even try it (or claim incorrectly that they did try it). Even when you *think* you're slowing down the top of the downswing, your brain won't let you do that right away. And here you have Bryson telling Rick to do that exact same technique. Most people reach top speed way too early in the downswing. Great video!

    Great video Rick, always tough to try and break old habits in real time, in front of a pro, and on camera. Kudos to you, hopefully you can bring this speed with you and hit drives as straight as you usually do!
