I'm sick of team Amber calling all of us stupid with no IQ. Social media doesn't make me do anything. I watched the actual trail and flat out decided for myself after hearing Amber and the evidence that she is a liar. It's so clear to see.

Johnny has more fans now than he did before the trial. I was never really a fan of his, I saw a few movies of his over the years and I thought he was a good actor. I heard of him visiting children’s hospitals as Captain Jack and thought that was so awesome of him, so I knew he was a good person but not really a fan. Now I am more of a fan and I followed the trial relentlessly. I have studied narcissistic people because I and a friend were victims of one so that made me more of a fan knowing how much he suffered from this woman.
And that is what most likely is eating at her right now! That Johnny is more famous than ever 🤣 and she will always be synonymously known as a liar and abuser🤣🤣

I have a question, Heard, she can't appeal until she pays Johnny $10 million, and she has 9 days left until they withdraw her possessions.

She has a fundamental right to appeal regardless of paying him, but she can’t stop him from collecting judgment while the appeal process moves forward unless she puts up a bond of the full amount. So essentially, Johnny can start enforcing judgment and take away any money she has to pay for the appeal process. Those lawyers aren’t going to work pro-bono and the insurance she had isn’t going to cover it and are likely to sue her for reimbursement because the verdict included actual malice (aka willful misconduct). Things are going to get very interesting very soon.
Elaine is just so pathetic. If she want's to keep her career she should stop protecting Amber. In any case, her reputation is gone.

I don't think the jury wanted to see it online. They spent all day in court listening to all the witnesses, evidence, etc and were probably sick of hearing about it. I know I wouldn't want to hear anything about it if I was on the jury. I'd be so tired that seeing more about it all day that I wouldn't want to spend my free time thinking about it.
HERE WE GO! It was because of the UK case that Elaine and AH thought for sure AH was going to win the Virginia case but the Virginia case had eyes and ears, the jury, who looked and heard the whole picture. The UK judge had too many behind-the-scenes people that disrupted his decision.

It’s pretty simple, her testimony was that the night of the staircase fight Whitney went to Jennifer’s. Whitney told jennifer what really happened, that amber attacked Johnny and Whitney thought amber was going to kill Johnny and Whitney stopped amber from doing so and then Johnnys bodyguard stepped in. But because she wasn’t an eye witness her testimony wasn’t allowed. That’s basically it.
I may trash Heard's Team so harshly, but I'm glad Rottenborn knew when to let go even if it costs his credibility. Elaine is really risking her prospects too deep and could have been disbarred right now.

One major things that was previously sealed but now unsealed was Amber Heard's discussion to settle in March 2022. Why would Amber Heard want to settle the case out of court? Is it because she knew from the start that she would lose and that the case going to trial would ruin her reputation? Also we know that Amber Heard believes that the 10.35 million is excessive, so perhaps it was her trying to pay a lesser amount from the start.
We know Johnny Depp wasn't in it for the money and just wanted his life back. Settling would sweep the whole situation under the rug. Heard would pay Depp some money, the world may still believe Heard's lies, and Depp would still be branded an abuser. Because of the trial, the world got to see both Amber and Johnny for who they really were. We saw AH as the abusive, narcissistic, gold-digging liar that she is. We also saw JD as the introverted, abused actor who had a drug and alcohol problem. AH being a narcissist wants to hide her flaws from the world because she wants to believe she's the perfect human-being. JD was willing to expose his flaws to show that he's not the man AH tried to display him as.
AH wanted to keep these things sealed because she's a narcissist, and these things will only point out more of her flaws. The perfect human-being in her eyes is herself. In one of her media rants she said that people target her because they're jealous of her beauty, and something was even posted after the trial on why "scientifically" AH is the best looking woman. Clearly she did this to try to compensate for her flaws pointed out by the trial.
I don't think she knew she would lose since the case was very difficult for Depp to win in the first place. I think she knew it would hurt her reputation, that was probably the main reason.
She may have been beautiful at one point in time, but that time has passed. Her disfigured face is swollen (alcohol, drugs, weight gain) and displays bad plastic surgery like the cheek implants. Mostly, it’s her personality coming thru which makes her ugly

This ongoing refusal to accept the judgment, reminds me of how she’d pursue him from room to room to room and why he had to get extra hotel rooms just to escape her. This behavior just reinforces what he testified about her.
I don't think AH is ever going to stop. Her interview on the news is pretty evident that she does not want him to move on. He may really have no choice but to make her pay each time she slander him. May be all she understands.

Simplest solution is often the right one so like the other person said, the money is probably the biggest motivator. Another part of it could be that she’s put so much time and effort and frustration into this case that it’s making it hard to let go. I forget the name for it but it’s this psychology thing that basically states the humans REALLY do not like abandoning projects we’ve but a lot of mental resource and time into.
I had wondered the same thing given she had various awards. Another barrister pointed out - you can get awards from various associations by being good at schmoozing or fundraising, etc. - NOT because you're a good lawyer.

I'm not particularly surprised that Amber can't let it go. I'm a paralegal who has worked for a state government administrative law agency for 25 years. There are some complainants who just can't let it go, no matter how clear it is that they have nothing in terms of evidence (university professors are by far the worst in this regard). They will lose at every level and just continue appealing upward until all options are exhausted, losing every single appeal. That's how I feel about Amber's pointless appeal. Just take the loss and move on. We're all exhausted.

Dr. Spiegel is not dissimilar to the professors I've had to listen to and summarize their testimony for the review commission.

Anything that could have made JD look bad that hasn't already been aired out during the trial, if it exists, given how he was during the trial, he would own it if it's true.
It is bizzare that Elaine claims that the jury was influenced by social media but could have not been influenced by mainstream media. You're right that they can't have it both ways. If they would have researched the case it's likely they would have read the numerous articles online that were pro AH.

Some woman/women with integrity need to do a documentary on Amber’s life-all the lies about her upbringing she’s told over the years, all her violence, all the people who’ve worked with her and saw the drug use, the aggressive behavior, the horrible acting, the targeting wealthy men and women who are way more talented and established than she is to get ahead in her own career/life. Physically & emotionally attacking her employees, her friends, her sister, her intimate partners, and the arrest (assuming there’s only one but I suspect there are more), and why it wasn’t prosecuted (a mistake to this day but I understand the resources issue).
Also how she appropriates other people’s life stories and makes them her own. How she changes her look and her behaviors, down to the books she reads and the way she designs her home & how she becomes a replica of the people she’s targeting. So much in how disturbed & disturbing she is. Someone needs to take this on.

I stopped watching MSM several years before the pandemic. This trial really showed how MSM presents a story with bias, and a narrative that they want the audience to agree with. The fact that the internet had places where you could get all the facts as they were released and see the whole picture is what made a difference in this trial, and explains why I left MSM. I often had tons of questions about certain stories that never got answered. Mainly because MSM tells you what to think about a story, and doesn't present you with all the facts so you can make your own informed decision. They don't want free thinkers.
