New documents trigger fresh online battle between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp fans
A hashtag defending Amber Heard trended Monday on Twitter after what appeared to be unsealed court documents in the defamation case brought by Johnny Depp were made public by a RUclipsr known for her legal commentary.
The hashtag, “AmberHeardDeservesAnApology,” first surfaced over the weekend after The Daily Beast published some of the findings from the court documents. Heard’s team said Depp, her ex-husband, sought to introduce n*de photos of Heard into evidence, according to The Daily Beast. Her lawyers also suggested that Depp altered or edited audio recordings of the couple f*ghting, the publication reported.
Attorneys for Depp and Heard declined to comment. NBC News has not independently reviewed the documents, but it has seen purported copies circulating online, including pages posted by RUclipsr Andrea Burkhart on her website. Burkhart, a lawyer based in Washington, has amassed 50,000 followers on RUclips, where she posts legal commentary about various celebrity trials that have generated public interest in the last year. She didn’t respond to request for comment.

No apology. These ppl benefited from viewing documents without paying. Shouldnt be taking things out of context or reaching so far of any of it being actual proof he abused her. The evidence is and will always be clear, she lied, instigated fights & was proud in doing so, has a history of abuse, etc etc etc. The jury agreed and ruled against her. All this research & documents are eye opening to shenigans on her team's efforts, she was the abuser, she defamed him, and how clearly right was jury's decision.

I was never a huge Johnny Depp fan , what made me pro Depp was watching Ambers testimony from her own mouth during trial . As a Dv survivor it was clear to me she was not being truthful Amber Heard does not represent DV and SV survivors ! She makes me sick . It is now up to America to extradite her. The Aussies have already worked with FBI, and pressed their case with US officials. But it’s ultimately up to them how they can proceed because of the jurisdiction issue. She will be charged either way in the country, but they can’t just simply go and grab her unfortunately.
We Aussies are watching and we are pissed. Mainstream media is being abandoned in droves because they lie and twist the truth and they aren’t even subtle about it. I actually saw a headline about JD’s unsealed evidence included revenge porn, I immediately blocked whatever scum-sucking “publication” produced that from my newsfeed.
When that first happened, everyone was making fun of Barnaby, Australia and the situation. Now everyone hates her and she isn't getting punished enough from the trial, everyone's on the side of Australia and us taking care of it.

We all knew of Johnny's drug and alcohol issues. We didn't know when and how it all started and his triggers were identified.
Johnny was very brave to lay his life for the world to see. In listening to those tapes, I recoiled to response to her words. He tried to escape her badgering and couldn't even after locking himself away. Then to have to ask permission to leave she needed to know how long, minutes. It takes time to wrap you head around how to face this person again. She tried to make him violent on so many occasions. She was the abuser.
Especially when Amber was a drug addict and an alcoholic long before meeting Johnny. Alongside her sister and friends.
Throughout the whole trial there was one sentence that Amber Heard uttered that sealed everything for me,
Camille asked her about the paparazzi being at the courthouse when she was walking out why would any actual survivor of domestic violence want this . The fact that she used the words actual survivors meaning she is not an actual survivor told me everything I needed to know about that woman

I think that she went into the relationship with the goal of grifting him but on a large scale. She probably thought that she could get him to take so many drugs that it would kill him and when it was clear that wasn't going to happen, she started abusing him in hopes of him killing himself. She wanted his money.

Lord! The thought is soooo disturbing and frightening. I'd bet dollars to donuts that she would have eventually found a way to get "extra" drugs in his system to push his body beyond what it could handle and kill him. When he was nearly unconscious and incoherent, she could have put pills at the back of his mouth near his throat, poured water in his mouth, and his reflexes would have likely made him swollow if it wasn't too much. These media people piss me off lying about Johnny. Once they fool me once, I don't believe a word they say after that. They didn't even watch the whole trial and what they write proves it or they are just liar writers.
reminds me of that phony documentary nbc made and they were interviewing their supposed breaking news correspondent. they clearly hadn't seen the trial. they filmed them looking up the verdict on their phone where they clearly were skimming through a 3rd party- didn't seem to bother finding the full statement or anything- and we're supposed to take any opinions they have on this matter seriously?

As for AH crying, my monster cried all the time anything did not go her way and these people can really carry on, the chopped sentences, the theatrics, etc. it can be very intense. Yeah, they want to talk about substances? How about the fact that Amber is still doing them! I choose to believe she did coke in court, even though it has almost been debunked, but there is still some question, it would be very easy to hide on a white kleenex.
AH's team was so slimy! JD's team has far more class and likely did not pull any of the tricks Elaine and company did.

People zoomed up to her face and you can see white powder all over her nose. If it wasn’t coke what was it, chalk? She was definitely snorting something during court
She was also taking some type of drug in tab form, bc she tried to slyly put it in her mouth. No one sneakily puts a mint in their mouth; & what was in that bottle she desperately didn’t want the bailiff to see/ take so she quickly put it in her pocket? One believes she was high going in to court, some days & or getting high in court on others…

At one point Ben even went over to the other side and offered some candy or mints or something. (I bought some Gummy Bears to eat while watching the trial myself, thanks to Ben and Johnny influencing that purchase in the grocery store. LOL)

. I was surprised at the time it wasn’t picked up on by media . The medication (which I guess will be discussed ) i had been taught about it by a medical rep in the uk when I was nursing . I cannot even begin to imagine all that goes into fully pouring through and breaking down all of these unsealed documents and what they essentially mean for the rest of us moving forward. As a survivor, this particular case has become especially personal for me. Lastly, I really just wanted to let you know Andy just how much I really, truly appreciate each and every single thing that you are doing to purposely dispel and eradicate the massive amount of both misinformation and disinformation on social media pertaining to this particular case. IMHO, you really do need to film a unbiased documentary of your own with TUG and others such as the Real Laura B etc. that really goes to the heart of what made this particular case involving JD and AH so vastly different from countless others as I do not like it is enough to simply report the facts anymore especially when in as little as four months AH has all but obliterated the once flourishing small-but-mighty community on social media including well-meaning real-life survivors of DV and SA of all genders and backgrounds vehemently against each other in terms of who they definitively support and stand by. Quite honestly, as a survivor, I am really sick and tired of being relentlessly targeted, threatened, relentlessly pursued and chastised by radical feminists and misandrists alike who continue to claim that I am not a real survivor or woman because of my inherent beliefs, doxxed and endangered physically all over again by my past abusers just because I not only vehemently disagree with but also flat-out refuse to support or believe AH. I also blame and attribute the entirety of negativity on social media to AH, her current and past PR teams, Eve Bar., Cara D., Elon M.
as well as her legal team spearheaded by the ever constantly revolting Elaine, NBC and the top executives at the WB and DC Comics just to name a few. P.S. how do we go about awarding you and Laura and others with those silver and gold awards from RUclips?

Great point. He's not a good person. Been charged for animal cruelty. Dog fights organiser. Had 8 pitbulls at the time of arrest. Also had professional gambling gear on his property at the same time. Lifetime of drug use, which does not mean one thing or another but can at times, esp as a parent. I'm a nice person who has been a lifelong addict, so obviously not picking on users per se. Yes. Where was he? Soaking up all his money that Johnny gave him. AH said in an interview that Johnny is v generous. He's been extremely generous to my family.
They say AH is a gold digger. Actually whole AH family are gold miners.
