I think he did the right thing, often the best revenge is to live your best life and forget the person ever existed. I am appalled that AH is not punished for contempt of court. Here in Denmark, "You have a duty to answer questions in court and to tell the truth". The penalty for false testimony in court is usually imprisonment
The same is true for US courts, however perjury charges are rarely pursued (if ever) in civil court cases, usually just in criminal cases. I guess it’s to prevent a never-ending cycle of he said/she said. But it’s unfortunate AH won’t be held accountable for all the lies she told on the stand.
I guess the US legal system has been rotted out to a far greater extent than we realize.

Despite what her fans say, She wasn't appealing the amount of money she had to pay - she was appealing the UNANIMOUS verdict against her that she lied and defamed Depp. She dropped her appeal and accepted the verdict against her. If she continues to defame him, she can be held liable for the full 10.35 judgment.

As a female DV survivor, not telling people or wanting someone to know is the most common thing to occur! I had so many injuries over 2yrs from my ex-husband and it was only in the end that I started telling people. Even doctors had to keep pestering me for the truth that they knew. Only when I realized that my life was truly on the line did I start telling the truth about what was occurring. If any person (male or female) is going through any sort of abuse, please report it. You will never have anything to fear as long as you tell the truth.
I will never harrass or threaten anyone, but I will refuse to support any corporations, companies, Women Rights Groups, media of any kind that continues to support her spreading her lies!!

Thank you for noticing that at no point did she mention "her daughter". I noticed this in both press releases and the interview with Court TV with JDs legal team. No one has mentioned this kid! And yes, she didn't settle anything except admitting that she's accepting the jury's decision. I can guarantee that the insurance company will NOT let her get away with not repaying them for the outrageous legal fees.

The judge in Virginia kept helping her lawyers reminding them of certain things because they wouldn't object or they wouldn't do this or that that they needed to do and she kept reminding them to the point that I thought she was being a little biased but I made a mistake she wasn't unfair she was very fair kept helping them so don't say that they were unjust to her. She was very professional and fair!!
A Judge is not supposed to help either side in any way, their job is to adjudicate, nothing more, it's for the Attorney's to know what they need to do.

Her voice does not remain to be her biggest asset. Her voice has been her biggest liability! Another huge lie! She keeps using it to lie. IF she was using it to tell the truth then she could say something like that. Her voice cost her, her reputation, career, money, social status, credibility, friends and a husband that was trying to give her everything! You could even say her country. I mean the woman fled to another country to get away from the mess she created. What a ludicrous and untrue statement! Outside of a moral compass, remorse, accountability, intelligence she also lacks common sense. She even misappropriated the “me too” movement to use as a tool and put herself as the face for them to also elevate her social status. Sometimes she spoke at rallies or conventions impaired by alcohol and/drugs it seems. Watch some of the videos for yourself.
No one believes her statement and solidifies the fact she can’t tell the truth. She hasn’t changed and will not change. She is going to ride the victim bus until the wheels fall off. She doesn’t have anything of value to offer at this point to include her soul.
Apart from the mountains of real evidence that provided in court there is an audio of AH explaining exactly how she was going to commit this hoax. A person who planned to create, manufacture lies and false evidence and frame her significant other. Just for money, fame and social status. To cost him everything in order for her to get what she wanted didn’t phase her at all. In fact right before the trial she decided it wasn’t enough already and made up even more egregious lies. But, she wants to make it clear she never chose this. The truth is she made this choice a multitude of times before, during and still after the trial. Her entire statement is a lie. It’s both unbelievable but believable that she made this statement. I couldn’t believe someone would be capable after everything to continue lying but it’s AH and it’s the only thing anyone can believe in is, she will never stop lying.
