For anyone hesitating playing Final Fantasy VII Rebirth in Graphics mode 4K 30 FPS - I recommend lowering the Camera > Responsiveness by 1 level (or maybe 2) so that it doesn't move so fast while turning. It made a world of difference for me.
As someone who’s been playing games since 2001 and played ff16 at launch with no graphics mode or motion blur scaler. I thrive in 30fps
Dragons dogma 2, rise of the ronin, granblue relink, helldivers 2, and The Finals will keep me fed for the whole year. Well until dawntrail is here
Stellarblade? 👀
Ruri's videos are always the only videos I wish I could like more than once, forever laughing and/or learning from you! 😁
You can make a "Strider" with the Wayfarer class. It has 36 different options cuz it can carry 3 weapons. The Thief can go into Wayfarer and dual class with any other class. The Wayfarer is the advanced vocation for most combos.
If I was ever on khancast I couldn't resist shouting khannnnnnn!
46:43 same thign with magick archer in tight spaces. game turned into a slideshow and then everything died =D
Bloodbath Diablos will always be my personal favorite the fight is epic and challenging especially in G rank, his armor and greatsword looked so Dowp
I'm hoping they add it to MH:Wilds. It wasn't in World or Rise so it'd be nice as an endgame fight.
Re: trickster, in a game that has a lot of combat I wonder if the trickster might be kinda ‘slow’ relying on pawns to kill. Also interesting comment from R about being split from pawns I suspect that occurrences like that might not be so rare. Still looking forward to the ‘solo trickster’ challenge runs!
Apparently the buff that u can give ur pawns is so strong that they just crush everything, in exchange for their health constantly draining. So maybe not.
can't be any slower than sorcerer, waiting for your pawns to go in first, 20 second spell cast time with a 5 second pause after
@@IlIlllIIIllIIlIIlII true dat. Though that was my first play through in DD1.
Lovin the staches
Will be playing DD 2 on PC for sure
2:01:36 - In GBF, there’s weapons with drop rates that are lower than the ones in Relink and you can’t buy any of them with real money, you can only hope for one to drop and continue farming for enough in your grid and uncaps GBF is more about farming and I haven’t paid a cent, yet I’m capable of fighting Dark Rapture (Hard) and I have all the characters I wanted from thousands of free rolls. Some people don’t have the time, have stuff in life, or are parents and would rather pay a small fee for stuff (including beating a story mode to unlock a character, instead of completing it for free.) GBF and Relink don’t have PvP either. 2:01:48 - They already stated that they had no plans for skins in Relink, which GBVSR is getting skins instead.
I'm not really interested in the trickster personally, but people that really know what they're doing are going to have a lot of fun, and I think highlight videos from that class are going to be crazy.
Warfarer with mystic sheld ,teleport, dagger gunpowder stab and flame arrow from magic archer
Ruri don't sleep on Unicorn Overlord !
FF8 being the first is your nostalgia problem :P it's got some great aspects, but that doesn't change there are major problems with it too ;)
It’s not that you can’t tell the difference between 30 and 60 its that your eyes eventually adjust to it.
😆😆😆😆
Just true if the gameplay is captivating enough. Any downtime, you'll start to notice it. Not to mention, I don't know if it's placebo and I just trained myself to feel like this, but playing anything in 60fps and then playing anything in 30fps literally causes me a headache
@@aiellamori even DF said it’s not so much the frame rates themselves but moreso the frametime. The stability. A stable 30 don’t hurt as much as unstable high frame rates.
Imagine if Warfarer allows you to use the same class for all three slots which then allows you to have 9 skills for one class 😮
On fps: If I can handle Elden Ring turning into a PowerPoint presentation when I happen to look in Adula's general direction, I think I can handle a dip during explosions. I'm not worried.
What about Stellar Blade? Poor TwoSixNine lol.
59:33 Mystic Spearhand is able to use a Shield?
MS is a Magic Twinblade class and so it's an ability that you can upgrade.
So when do the embargoes fully lift for Dragons Dogma and Rise of the Ronin? Personally going to be playing dragon’s dogma first but interested to see full reviews of both.
Maybe Wednesday, or possibly Tuesday? There also has to be a launch trailer on a different day
1:06:25 Doing the "no stamina consumption when there's no monsters around" wouldn't really work because suddenly losing stamina would be a tell for ambushes and hidden fights.
I think maybe a better option would be no (or severely reduced) stamina consumption out of combat while on roads/paths. Would also add realism in addition to QoL
that road idea is pretty clever! But they already have an "in combat" flag for being able to save the game. I don't think it would be based on proximity, but whether you have aggro from a monster.
@IlIlllIIIllIIlIIlII Ah, makes sense. I haven't played DD in a long time, so I couldn't remember the exact system they used. Was thinking about it from a general game dev angle haha
I think a good way to explain the advanced vocations isn't as a class progression, but more of an awareness standpoint. You need to pay attention more in these vocations to deal damage and stay alive since they are focused purely on offense. Think of it like taking the SNS into battle in MH vs the GS.
if anyone has tips for the character creator tell me
😂 about the stamina depletion in DD2. I watched this review video from one of the channels that I don’t remember the name anymore. He said he played the game and this game didn’t cost stamina while running while showing a clip of he was running and stamina was depleting. I was like what are you talking about??? Did you either not play the game or you didn’t actually watch the video that you edited. 😂
I didn't beat dd1 but dam i put 40hr into the 1st one so its kinda weird 269 didnt play it but luckily you dont have to
well it would be nice to allocate stats but we can see in the level up screen that it's happening automatically :(
we could really need codes for the character creator already because rn we have to make screenshots of the sliders for people to copy a character.
Stat allocation wasn't in the first game so it's highly unlikely that the second game will have it. Besides keep that stuff to souls games, DD is fine without it.
@@Foogi9000 you know there are more games than souls and dragons dogma.
@@wilddreams No shit
Who else can’t wait for Dragon’s Dogma 2? Going to be posting the whole playthrough
FF7 rebirth 30fps really hurt my eyes
It's confirmed that your stats change when you respect so no more min/maxing nonsense. You don't have to respect stats, it does it for you when you change vocations. I beat the first one with Magic Archer, so don't worry too much about what is meta in a single player game.
I think FF Rebirth shows us it's really hard to have high end graphics and 60fps. There isn't a current gen game with 60fps and top graphic settings on console. The fact you have to choose performance or fidelity shows how weak this current gen console actually is. It's not Dragon's Dogma's fault that consoles can't run it at 60fps.
I think for me personally now that we know how stats work in DD2, I would've been happy with a hybrid of the two systems. Have the Stat growth mechanic from DD1 but have the vocations in DD2 come with a Stat multiplier ex. Warriors multiply strength by 2x with either a smaller or no multiplier for Magick. Something along those lines
They got rid of Stat growths for a reason. They served no purpose but to make leveling more convoluted. It wasn't even an interesting system just made you play classes you didn't want to just to gain stats. Pretty much every game that had had those kind of systems has gone away for the same reason.
Permanent stat change from leveling is completely at odds with the idea of being able to change your vocation at any time. They would be crazy to keep that system when they could easily move it somewhere else- for instance, giving multiple paths to weapon upgrades. Then you could make a Fighter with an emphasis on DEF, if you change your mind and want to focus on MATK, just get another copy of your weapon and upgrade it differently.
I have seen this scenario play out on forums:
New player: I don't really like Sorcerer, I think I'll try Fighter since I'm only level 30, that's ok right?
Veteran player: Noooo you can't do that, your stats will be gimped and you won't be able to do end game content!!
New player: well I don't want to do that stupid ox cart quest again and lose all my progress, I guess I'll just play a different game
Didn't Itsuno himself confirm the removal of Min-Maxing in an interview?
What a garbage answer from twosix, get more money poors to afford cutting-edge hardware?
It’s 2024, it’s insane to not have 60 fps in an action game.
Accessibility should be more focused on actual features like fps across the platform more people have if that’s your goal, instead of difficulty modes or other fluff.
He's not wrong tho. Sure, devs are responsible to make their games look and run as best as possible, but they're still limited by the current technology, and there are always people who are super obsessed with fps and graphics to the point they refuse to play a 30fps game, which is the type of person he was referring to, and he's just saying rather than buying a console and then complaining about its limitations, just buy a PC if you really want to enjoy high fps and resolution. Also, accessibility is supposed to help people with disabilities by including things like colorblind mode, audio cues, etc., and you asking for 60fps by complaining about accessibility just feels entitled to me.
Well, that’s not what he said, he said if you care so much about performance have a pc, tbh why the F would you buy a console and whinge about its performance, both consoles can’t do this consistently enough, not even a pc with the specs they have will get that all the time, in every game, pretty simple if you want the best, buy it, or make do
Ronin over DD2 as the combat on that looks shit. Plus.this has coop
Wait, DD2 is just DD1 reskined with redone classes? Umm...thats not that exciting...at least not to me. Im not that big of a fan of the video of the new classes, but I expected an actual sequel, not just a redo...
No, it is a true sequel.
Why criticize rise of ronim grapics but dont criticize Dragons Dogma 2 for grapics? An RTX 2080 just to play the game at 30 fps, this is shit, i dont care what console fanboys can say "ohh but 30 fps its on", ITS NOT OK, and Dragons Dogma 2 grapics are trash, i cant see any reason for it cant be better optimized.
You’re a crazy person.
@@rurikhanwhy you think that? I bought Dragons Dogma 2 for +300 brl and the game runs like trash just as i think it will, i hope they patch this.
