36:53 well actually Steel Uragaan was in 3U as well (at least the 3ds version), the only reason I remember him is because he could randomly appear in Moga Woods at night which made NO SENSE to me
I have gone back recently, like within the last month or so and have fought steel uragaan. I actually quite like the fight, despite the agony of farming out the uragaan pallium for the uragaan hammer.
Honestly when it comes to the Rathalos and rathian I never get tired of seeing them in the games.
Plus, the last several games have all seen updates to their moves. They've felt pretty fresh in spite of seeing them nonstop for such a long time.
As long as they keep making them interesting, I don't really care how many times we see them.

For anyone hesitating playing Final Fantasy VII Rebirth in Graphics mode 4K 30 FPS - I recommend lowering the Camera > Responsiveness by just 1 level (or maybe 2) so that it doesn't move so fast while turning. It made a world of difference for me.
White Fatalis is the English way of referring to it. Old Fatalis is actually correct. It’s gear is what is called White Fatalis and that’s where the name came from cause it sounds cooler than old Fatalis. I believe the quest itself is even called Old Fatalis.
Hey steel Uragan is in 3U and between farming my gunlance set and my friend's hammer I will never forget him
I played the chargeblade on the ps5 because it was a daunting weapon that i had never tried and i fought every monster with it to the very end of sunbreak and only when i beat every monster did it dawn on me that i had become good at this complex weapon. I was kinda proud.
Old Fatalis has definitely been called that in English before, I think...

Been playing Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen for the first time the past few months and having a blast with it.
Now I'm incredibly excited to shoryuken ogres and whatnot with the warrior in DD2!
Also incredibly excited about Wilds and hope they can recapture and possibly even surpass that density and atmosphere that World had!
Not really surprising that zinogre won out, he's well liked in general, in both World and Rise, and Portable 3rd is still the best selling MH in Japan.

Yes, I have fond memories of Steel Uragan from my days in 3U. He was definitely more annoying because he required you to carry Deodorant
The double Brachy quest in 3Ultimate made a far more efficient Hunter.

I've recently finally finished GU G Rank solo, and now I understand why you guys sang so much praise about it. It is such a perfect final boss fight, it's definitely my favorite out of all the final bosses (NOT including secret bosses like Fatalis!) I've fought.
What a Friend!
I started in 3U, so Lagi and Zinogre hold a special place for me. I always like seeing Zinogre showing up, and I really hope we see Lagi in Wilds. But that said, Nergigante is special for me. Hard walled me in a way no other monster ever did, and forced me to try a new weapon and tactics in a way no other monster ever did. So I find the top end of the rankings pretty relatable. Honorable mention for Gore as well

Small correction (and sorry if you say this later i haven't finished watching this yet) but Steel Uragaan isn't locked to portable 3rd! He shows up in 3 Ultimate as well, i fought him like last month while going through every monster in the franchise with a friend!
Boltreaver was my vote, so I’m so happy it was so high on the list. My second choice would have been Raging Brachy which was slightly higher. So I’m happy

another funny thing from this was that the entirety of generations came from 1 word "festival". how far can they stretch this 1 word their boss gave them?
the narga thing was funny. what was funnier to me, was them saying that in MH3's development they were prepared to scrap underwater combat at any time. they were not confident in that but many of us still want them to try again. we know it didn't go well in that game but we are hopeful for the concept to be done justice someday. so many cool monsters ideas can come from the deep sea man. it's also funny that lagi is the 3rd most popular monster. CR-Volcanic put it best. peraphrasing, someone's going to be handcuffed to a desk until they make lagi work for Wilds. i just found that really funny but it may not be far from the truth. if this man starts to hate lagi and the fans, i will disagree but i will pray for his health and sanity.
steel uragaan was a nice idea, sulfur stench gas instead of carbon monoxide sleep gas. desert seltas in a tie here is a crime! these 2 have to come back in WIlds or its expansion for a lunastra/fatalis style redemption arc. justice for the forgotten! i also really want all 4 seltas to return, they are so cool. steel uragaan was in portable 3rd and 3u. his armor was a great for gl. in g rank it had biology (i think that was blast res or something), guard boost/guard up, artillery master, minds eye, and slow swim as its negative skill. Ruri will use his set in 3u if he continues that game. i like uragaan too and steel uragaan was a good subspecies for the time.
aurora was a necessary tech demo that was used on the wrong monster. the beam adjusting height mid sweep is awesome, it means they will have anti air attacks so they won't have t be cowards anymore with areal ig. let areal ig do damage, it's the same flow as bow but with more risk/less damage.
the reason i laugh off zorah is simple. he took a year to make and the only reason it took that long was they struggled to have MT framework do something Insomniac achieved on the ps2 before MH1 released. actual fact, Insomniac did moving platforms like zorah and spherical worlds, with functional low gravity, on the ps2 in 2003. so the latter mechanic was also years before Mario galexy. that alone is reason enough for all developers to never touch that game engine again.
it was the subspecies, desert seltas queen would yank the desert seltas out of the ground and shoot it at you like a cannon ball so it would shatter on impact. if they bring it back, i want it to have a shrapnel hit box so if you dodge the wrong way or are slightly off where she aims it can still hit you.
i want both qurupekos back. i get why crimson is low, he's a subspecies that wasn't in recent games but as they flesh out hte list of invader monsters he becomes more awesome.
seathing was awesome but not being an invader in Iceborne hurt him. i prefer him over base bazel but base bazel being number 52 is hilarious. preserve that ranking at all costs!
poor odogaron, between both forms of jho. they are diciding who gets to hold him in their mounth. they are right, savage jho losing his dance move was criminal.
i loved mizu in Rise, he was my demonstration partner when i showed my friend, who was new to the sereies with Rise, i showed him the glory of exhaust. i exausted that poor monster like 6 or 7 times and it was hillarious. hey, if it's not an elder, exhause is a speed debuff and you get a lot more smaller opening over a longer time with them failing some attacks unlikely stun.

Our eyes definitely adjust to it. People that say their eyes bleed and they get cancer from 30 fps probably switched a game from performance to graphic mode and looked at it for 10 seconds. It does look TERRIBLE but if you stick with it for 30 minutes it definitely gets smoother. Of course it never looks as good as 60 but it definitely looks better than when you first switch to 30.
Same thing happened to me with Rebirth. I went from 60fps to 30 4K and was not only surprised by how good it looks but also but how well I adjusted to it. It also helps me get ready for DD2.

Most single player games are still fully on disc or content complete on disc. Usually when a game isn't they'll say so on the front of the case for PlayStation and Switch games, but Xbox I think it's on the back of the case.

4 or 5 is still less than 6, so not only do you not have clothing equipment, you don't have secondary equipment, but even for a singular weapon you have less skills to choose from. Less customization is still less customization.
I wish theyd bring congalala back. I just love beating the s out of that thing. Including the congas annoying as f but ita so fun to see when they like accidentaly gets demolished like from bombs etc. Also gravios love fighting that beast

old fatalis is not a recent thing btw
I absolutely can not tell the difference between 60 and 30 at all. Even with games that have the in game quick toggle. Which annoys the hell out of my brother. And I spend all day on a monitor or a game or a show.
On the flip side though, it took years of 1080p watching before I finally noticed the difference between HD and SD.

As a lance user, it drives me nuts that half of its moveset specifically punishes lance users. So many of its moves have 2 hit ticks so its so fucking frustrating not being allowed to counter half of its moveset because there's 2 ticks of damage, so even if you counter the moves, you get hit by its second tick. There's absolutely no fucking reason that that monster needed double hit moves
I barely finished the Now main story before the new update, and the first monster is like 200 attack and defense higher than me right now, it's like they expected me to do nothing else but go walk around playing their game. And the season pass? Oof, was the nail in the coffin for me. Done.

15:00 i would recommend Stories 1 and not stories 2 because i loved stories 1 but didn't like stories 2 and stories 2 is a continuation of Stories 1 because of a lot of returning characters so it makes sense to start with stories 1.

Nooooo…Ruri is wrong with Stygian on Gen U. Gen U isn’t my fave among the Monster Hunter games because the game doesn’t have like subspecies. Most of my favorite monsters are the Subspecies 😔

I just wanna put it out there, if you have a disc ps4 version of a ps5/ps4 game, the PS5 STILL DOWNLOADS BOTH COPIES FIRST UNLESS YOU STOP IT. I hate it.
Even if you delete the ps4 version it still apears on your library every time and it bugs the fuck out me. I k ow it doesn't really matter, but it looks ugly.

I would have to disagree with you mate, a lot of people did like rise and some of the worst fights in world were done way better is rise
Monster designs were pretty hit or miss. The Aknosom was super cool, we could always use more bird monsters. But I never liked Magnamalo. Aside from Malzeno, all of the Universal movie monsters were pretty lame.
A lot of the fights were pretty good though. I've not seen many people saying that the fights were bad. They made Jyuratodos interesting. Hell even Great Izuchi brought some cool stuff to the table mechanically.
@@rainbowkrampus yeah thats right Jyura was really good in rise but alot of the new monsters where not so fun to fight. like narwa or almudron or somnacant. They kinda made sense in rise cus of the wirebug and stuff but overall the fights where pretty "Meh"
